"John? I got more out of her last night" said Eric as he slowly entered John's room.

"You did!?" he answered as he shot out of bed, "How?"

"Hey, if you annoy anyone enough, they'll tell you what you want to know, no matter how ill they are mentally" answered Eric, "Everyone get's annoyed"

"Ok, I lied." Said Eric as he walked out of Aali's room, "She's not telling me anything and I've been in there for 3 hours straight."

John just sat down and put his head in his hands.

"I still can't believe this. This mission started out as just a nice get together, riddled with a bit of the Covenant…but now the Covenant is destroyed and we hear of these things called Angels…"

"What about the Covenant!?" asked Eric.

John looked up at him.

"Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you," he said standing up, "The Covenant, the Forerunner and The Flood were destroyed 4 days ago by some unknown force…my guess, the Angels"

Eric stood silent while staring forward.

"Suddenly, I'm very worried about these Angels-They seem to have a whole lot of power over, well, everything it seems."

"Then again, they destroyed Earth's main enemies, they might be on our side…or just dumb." Answered John.

"No, neither of those work out logically, look at it this way. Aali was mentally disabled by not a few, but one of these things, Aali! And they are obviously smart enough to have the ability to take the form of other Spartan's, and get inside the base, and plan everything out correctly so that we get ripped. Not to mention they are strong from what we can see, bringing me back to the Aali thing, and now you tell me they destroyed 3 major Alien Alliances-John, this scares me."

John stood silent, he had never thought of it that way before.

"Oh my God…you're right."

Eric looked out the only window to the training Spartan's.

"These Angels are smart enough to know when to strike, and how to strike so that it hurts us the most-taking out the leaders was defiantly the smartest thing they could've done…but, there's still one left John…"

John looked out the window also, then back to Eric.

"Watch your back John. Don't come here to see how Aali is doing, I'll send you reports, but I have a strong feeling that the Angel that did this to Aali is waiting for the perfect chance to strike at you, and you being lost in Aali's world is NOT what we need, so please…keep an eye out." Said Eric.

John nodded once.

"I guess you're right, you better keep me updated, every 3 hours unless something drastic happens…thanks Eric."

Eric nodded and John walked out.

As John walked down the hall, he ran into Doug and Sammy, but they merely stopped and stared at each other, and then Sammy spoke.

"Anything about Aali?"

John shook his head slowly.

"Nothing at all?" asked Doug.

"She's not improving, and Eric doesn't think she will…not until we find a way to kill the Angel that's around here…and destroy the rest of them too." Answered John.

Doug and Sammy bowed their heads, then looked up and saw Brian standing behind John as if he had suddenly appeared there. John turned around swiftly.

"Brian! What are you doing here?" asked John.

Brian just looked at Doug and Sammy, then back to John.

"Just walking, why, am I allowed to do that?" he asked with an attitude.

"Yes soldier, you are. But you are not allowed to get an attitude with your Master Chief, understood?" replied John.

Brian smiled.

"Understood sir…oh, by the way, I thought you might to know, you're missing 3 Spartan's." he said as he walked away.

John's eyes widened.

"What do you mean!?"

"They aren't there, in there room's-anywhere actually." He replied as he continued walking.

John then dashed backwards, in and out of rooms of Spartan's, then he found the last room, and checked the names, he looked in…and no one was there.

"Doug! Go see if anyone's outside training, and Sammy, see if anyone's in the training rooms, report to me instantly!" yelled John.

Doug and Sammy nodded and darted back the way they came.

John dug out a piece of paper and started jotting down the names, `Escamilla- Jon, Escamilla- Nicky, Reyes- Paul, Stephenson- Joshua'. Then, Doug and Sammy ran back, out of breath entirely.

"No sign…of anyone…sir" Doug stated between breaths.

"Same for you Sammy?" John asked turning to him.

Sammy nodded.

"Fuck! Where could they have gone!?" he yelled down the hall. He walked in the room, and all he found was the dog tags of the Spartan's. John shook his head slowly.

"The Angel…" he muttered as Sammy and Doug watched him, "You should leave, I have to find him…"

"Sir, we're Spartan's too, no matter what happens, we aren't going to leave, I mean, think about it…Aali is our friend too…so were Josh, Jon, Nicky and Paul, I mean, we didn't leave when Danny, Jason and Jaime were killed…" said Doug before he was cut off by John.

"Wait a minute-Danny, Jaime, Jason, Josh, Paul, Jon, Nicky…don't you see it…"

They both just stared at him.

"They were all connected! Look, Danny, Jaime, Jon and Nicky were relatives, Jason was their best friend, they ALL went to school with Josh and Paul, and Aali was at one time engaged to Danny…that means-" he stopped and looked at Doug, "You should be next, along with Brian! Then, It'll be you Sammy, because you are friends with Doug, then Mike, and Eric and me! I see it now! Danny, Jason and Jaime weren't killed by the Covenant, they were killed by the Angel!"

"The Angel was around that long ago?" asked Sammy.

"Defiantly, there's no way around it, It was makes sense now, The group of Angels sent one Angel, despised as a Spartan to come take us out…wait a minute, that means, it's not so easy, that one of the people left is…The Angel."

John, Doug and Sammy slowly looked to each other, then, they got that eery feeling that someone was watching them, they looked to the wall, and saw a shadow at the doorway, a tall person, and they heard a laugh, then the words, `You're getting closer…but not fast enough'. And as John turned around, it was gone. John then turned back to Doug and Sammy.

"Lets go! Round up all of the rest of the Spartan's and bring them into the living room, on the double! Go!" he barked, and they all ran out of the room, running through out the house like madmen, and they all met in the living room again.

"Where's Mike!?"

Sammy shook his head and tossed his dog tags to John.

"Michael Grinsted, dammit…"

They all looked to each other, and Eric had brought Aali along with him…but they noticed one person was gone.
