Shinji had just gotten home from school when the phone rang. Since nobody else was home Shinji went to pick up the phone. On the other end of the line he heard Misato's voice. "Hey Shinji I just received news of more Eva Pilots, and commander Ikari has ordered all of the pilots to gather and meet in the briefing room at NERV. Oh and Shinji one last thing, you have to tell Asuka to come since I'm a little busy."
Then the line went dead and Shinji just stared at the receiver for a while before he realized Misato had hung up. Shinji put the receiver back and thought 'What can my father be planning this time'
Asuka got home a little bit after the phone call and Shinji filled her in and Asuka said "Great another chance to prove my greatness."
"Riiight, well we better get going" said Shinji and with that said he was out the door and heading for NERV.


When they were going through the park heading towards NERV when Asuka saw a guy walking by the water fountain and decided she wanted to have some fun so when they were walking past him she put her foot in front of him to trip him and make him fall into the fountain, but she didn't expect him to stop hook his foot around hers and move forward causing her to fall and scrape her knee. He started laughing and took off running without a word.
"I'll get that damn bastard for what he did." Asuka swore under her breath.
"You need some help Asuka?" asked Shinji offering her a helping hand.
"No, I'm fine I just scraped my knee." said Asuka slapping his hand away.
"Fine just trying to help." said Shinji as he continued walking towards NERV.
"Baka Shinji." muttered Asuka under her breath.


When they got to NERV they headed to the briefing room where Misato was waiting for them.
"O.K so where is he?" asked Asuka as she entered the room.
"Who?" asked Misato with a puzzled expression on her face.
"The new pilot Misato? Who did you think I mean?" asked Asuka looking around the room.
"I thought you meant Kaji" since you're always trying to impress him." answered Misato crossing her arms with a smile on her face.
"No but, where is he anyways?" asked Asuka forgetting why they were there in the first place.
"I don't and I don't care as long as he stays away from Me." said Misato as she looked the other way trying not to think about him.
"Um Misato like Asuka was saying where's the new pilot?" asked Shinji.
"Oh right I almost forgot they are supposed to be here in about five minutes." said Misato.
"They? What do you mean by they? You mean there's more than one?" asked Asuka dumbfounded.
"Well yeah that's generally what people mean when they say they." answered Misato.
"But Misato I thought there was only one new pilot." said Shinji surprised by the fact that there were more that one new pilots coming.
"Well no actually there's four." said Misato.
"Today you'll meet two and two days from now you'll meet the other two pilots and speaking of the two pilots who you're supposed to meet here they are." said Misato.
"Hello Major Katsurugi I'm Kikiyo the pilot of unit 07." who was wearing a blue T-shirt, a pair of Levis and had curves that could challenge Asuka's and win.
"And I'm Sandra the pilot for unit 06" said a girl who was wearing a white sundress and had curves that could challenge Asuka's and win also.
"Hello girls this Asuka," said Misato pointing to Asuka "and this is Shinji."
"Pleased to meet you." said Shinji.
"I am very pleased to meet you too" said Sandra.
"Ditto" said Kikiyo.
"Yeah Definitely that way when Shinji messes up somebody will be able to fix his blunder." said Asuka smiling.
"Hey that's not very nice Asuka." warned Misato.
"Well we better head over to Ritsuko she wants to run some sync tests." said Misato.
They headed over to Ritsuko and Ran the sync tests. Asuka got 78.06, Shinji got 87.04, Sandra got 94.60, Kikiyo got 91.00 and Rei who had gotten there somehow before them got 78.80.


When they got home Asuka was in a really bad mood mainly because everyone had outdone her.
She was taking a shower while Shinji prepared dinner and Shinji was thinking (well at least there will be more pilots to help out).
Shinji smiled at the thought.
When Asuka came out of the shower she noticed Shinji smiling. "What are you so happy about?" asked Asuka.
"Oh nothing really." answered Shinji still preparing dinner.
"Did you try to take a look at me when I was in the shower?" asked Asuka the anger of being beaten by him was rising in her.
"What? Of course not." answered shinji surprised by the question.
"That's it isn't it? That's why you're so happy?" asked Asuka with rage and accusation in her voice.
"No I would never do such a thing." answered Shinji hopping she wouldn't try and do him damage.
"You little pervert." said Asuka her anger showing in her voice then she went and SLAPPED him very HARD.
In a car Sandra was being driven to her hotel and then she heard something and asked her guard "Did you hear something? It sounded like thunder."
"No the sky's clear and if it were thunder then it would be raining." answered the guard.
Back at Misato's apartment Shinji was on the floor with four cuts on his face that were bleeding. A bruise had formed in less than a second.
"What's going on here?" demanded Misato as she entered the kitchen.
"Asuka slapped me because she thought I was looking at her when she was taking a shower." answered Shinji.
"Were you looking at her when she was in the shower?" asked Misato looking at him.
"No of course not. How could you think I would do something like that?" asked Shinji.
"Asuka go to your room and think about what you did. I'm going to get Shinji some ice and then you and I are going to have a discussion over what you did. Come on Shinji lets get you some ice" ordered Misato.
"But, Misato" said Asuka
"No buts young lady." interrupted Misato.
"Thanks Misato." said Shinji as Asuka stormed to her room and slammed the door.
"Don't worry. Asuka shouldn't have slapped you." said Misato taking out a bag of ice and handing it to Shinji who putt it on his cheek.
"Thanks Misato. Why don't we have dinner without Asuka that way she won't slap me again and has time to cool off." offered Shinji.
"And we can have some peace and quiet?" asked Misato raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah hopefully." answered Shinji truthfully.
"Shinji I personally think that's a great idea." said Misato.
"You do?" asked Shinji as his eyebrows went so high they were in danger of disappearing into his hair.
"Yeah you're finally starting to look out for your interest." answered Misato placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Okay. Now how about dinner? I'm starving." exclaimed the hungry General.
"Why am I not surprised?" asked Shinji.
"You know I like this new Shinji already?" said Misato
"Really? Why don't we keep him then?" asked Shinji actually smiling since Misato had known him.
"Oh my god Shinji you actually smiled." said Misato and then she rubbed her eyes to be sure she hadn't imagined it.
"Don't tell Asuka." said Shinji.
"Why not?" asked
"Because I want to scare her when I smile in front of everybody and she sees me happy that and I want some payback." said Shinji with a grin.
"That doesn't sound like the Shinji I know. I like it." said Misato thinking of some things the new Shinji might do and most of the ideas that popped into her head she liked.


Two days passed and things went pretty good. Sandra and Kikiyo were very good at school and they were nice.
When Shinji and Asuka got to class Hikari came up to them and said "Hey guys we have two new students"
"Doesn't sound to surprising if their the pilots they told us about two days ago." answered Shinji.
"Well if I can't beat these four I guess I'll be able to beat these two." said Asuka as she thought back to the sink test two days ago.
The teacher walked in and the class and all the students sat at their desk and went through the stand, bow, and sit routine as usual.
"Students today we have two new students." said the teacher.
"Please come in." said the teacher gesturing to two students standing outside the door. Two students walked in through the door the first one had a red T-shirt with blue jeans and he had spiky black hair, two large bangs that ended at his chin, and silver stripe that was in the middle of his hair. He had Black eyes with no pupils (in other words his eyes look like just one thing).
The second student wore some loose fitting blue pants and a white shirtless T-shirt with a blue vest with lots of pockets on it which were bulging with things. He had on a pair of shaded blue sun glasses but you could see he had metallic blue eyes that seemed to glow somehow which made it possible to see beyond the sunglasses (just in case you're wondering his eyes do have pupils).
"Hello Rei, Sandra long to no see, huh?" asked the second student.
"Do I now you?" asked Sandra.
"I do not think we have ever met." answered Rei in her usual emotionless voice that hid all of what she was thinking of which was the animals.
"Aw come on Rei, Sandra don't tell me you don't remember me." said second student.
"Hemhem would you please introduce yourselves to the class" said the teachers speaking to the two new students.
"Well my name is Silver and my hobbies are reading, swordsmanship, being champion martial artist, being an Ace gunman, being a good mechanic and fixing up my motorcycle, and last but not least hacking" said the first student now known as Silver.
"I have all the same hobbies as Silver does except I'm much better at them than him." said the second student.
"Oh and my name is Clow." said the second student now known as Clow. Clow ran his hand through his hair and it changed from black to white as the moon.
"Now do you recognize me?" asked Clow speaking to Rei and Sandra.
