Father and Son

Chapter 1

 

Gendo Ikari the commander of Nerv sat in his office alone deep in his thoughts and for an hour he sat staring at the computer screen that was showing him a real time feed from the security cameras where the children where going through a sync test.

His eyes watched as Asuka made a very pissed off face as Ritsuko was chiding her for such a low sync rate, " It would seem that the time is coming for that little greman bitch to be taken down a notch. " Gendo thought to himself when he was suddenly racked with lung shredding coughs and he quickly brought a white silk handkerchief to his lips as pain racked his body, after ten minutes or so the coughing subsided as did the crippling pain and Gendo brought the handkerchief away from his lips as he leaned back into his leather chair as he got his breathing under control.

 

Gendo looked at the handkerchief and saw that it was stained a bright crimson and he noticed that the bloodstain was larger then it had been since the last time he had an attack and it was at that moment he knew for absolute certain that he his days where running out fast and that every moment that he lived was on borrowed time.

Gendo closed his eyes and drew in a deep breath for the outcome of his scenario was in question and he felt fear, rage and sorrow at the thought of never being reunited with Yui due to his death before third impact could be archived when his eyes looked onto the sight of Rei in her entry plug and he felt morose at the thought of leaving Rei to fend for herself, Rei the being that he had created by all of his cunning and willpower, the being that would forever change the course of humanity, the being he had rased as if she was his own child.

 

Gendo then looked at the view of Shinji his son that had been born of his and Yui's flesh, a symbol of their undying love for all to see, a boy that he had abandoned after he had lost Yui and he realized the monstrous wrong that he had committed on Shinji for he had been so blinded by his grief and his fevered dreams of being reunited with her that he had not only abandoned his child but he had turned the very love that he had for his wife into an obsession that tormented him day in night while Shinji suffered alone and in fear and Gendo felt himself become sickened to the core.

 

" My son. " Gendo said to himself and realized that if Yui could see him now she would have hated him for what he had become and he felt such shame that he began to weep.

 

Shinji was getting changed out of his plug suit and he let out a sigh for he knew that once he got home his suffering would continue for Asuka was on the rag and Misato looked like she had a rough day today and that told him that she would be knocking back the beers early tonight.

" Why me!? " Shinji thought to himself as he finished changing into his clothes and he punched the locker door in frustration as he let out a curse, " God damn it! " he said as he felt the pain travel up his hand and he choked back a sob and made his way out of the locker room.

 

Gendo opened his desk drawer and took out a joint and lit it up as he continued to watch Shinji make his way from the locker room to the motor pool where Misato and the others where waiting for him when he got an idea and made a call.

 

Kaji was in his office when his phone rang and he picked it up.

" Hello? " he said as he finished encrypting a bunch of data that he had stolen from the Magi, " Come to my office. " he heard Gendo say with a cold tone of voice and Kaji felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end, " I'll be right there Commander. " he said with a slight waver in his voice for he had not been expecting a call from the Bastard King himself and he came to realize that the commander may have called him to his office so he himself would kill him because of his spying and so with a heavy heart Kaji walked out of his office and made his way to the commander's office.

 

Gendo watched as the door to his office opened and in walked Kaji and he could see the cautious look in the young man's eyes and smiled to himself under his folded hands.

" Commander what do you want with me? " Kaji asked with a cavalier tone of voice as he looked around the commander's office and saw that they where alone and he took that as a sign to be wary, " Sit down, I have a new mission for you. " Gendo said and watched as Kaji took a seat in front of him, " So what is it you want me to do Commander? " Kaji asked he tried to get a feel for the commander's mind set but the commander was sitting ram rod straight with his tinted glasses and his gloved hands folded over his face and Kaji was unable to figure out what the commander was up to.

" I want you to do an assessment on the third child, I want to find out what is troubling him and you are the one to do so because he trusts you due to your association with Major Katsuragi. " Gendo said with a calm, cold tone of voice and watched Kaji like a hawk to see how the younger man was going to react to this new assignment.

Kaji sat there and thought about what Gendo had just said to him and he was puzzled after all the commander knew that he was not a psychologist by any stretch of the imagination, " Commander if you are worried about the over all mental health of the third child I'm sure that you have trained professionals that can give you a clear picture as to the mind set of the third child. " Kaji said and waited for the Gendo to speak to him as he continued to try and figure out what Gendo was playing at.

 

" Yes I do but I find this situation to reacquire a more personal and human touch. " Gendo said and waited for Kaji to reply, " I see, what did you have in mind exactly? " Kaji asked as he found himself becoming quite curious as to what the Commander was up to, not that he objected to trying to help Shinji for he liked the morose young man, " I want you to take the third child out for a man's night out on the town, you will take him to a few respectable establishments and get him to unwind, you may use what ever means you deem necessary for show him a good time but you are not to involve the third child with any women in a sexual manor. " Gendo said and he could see the slight look of puzzlement in Kaji's eyes.

 

Kaji sat there and pondered the commander's words for he has having a hard time wrapping his mind around the fact that the commander of Nerv and quite possibly the most ruthless man on the face of the earth was asking him to take his son out for a night on the town.

" As far as your business here at Nerv it is secondary to the task that I'm assigning you to, in fact this mission will take precedences over your functions here as well as any OTHER business you might have at the moment, you are not to reveal this mission to anyone, and I do mean ANYONE! " Gendo said with his third most ruthless tone of voice, the one he usually used with minor functionaries of Nerv and little old ladies that annoyed him like a pack of hemorrhoids.

 

Kaji felt his blood run cold for a second because it did not take a rocket scientist to read the message that the commander was making to him with that tone of voice of his that told Kaji that the commander knew that he was spying on Nerv for the Japanese government.

 

" I see is there anything else? " Kaji asked, " You are to start on befriending Shinji as soon as you leave this office, dismissed. " Gendo said and watched as the young spy got up from his seat and walk out of his office.

 

Shinji was cooking supper when Asuka came into the kitchen and opened the fridge, " Shinji did you drink the last cola!? " Asuka shouted as she gave Shinji a glare, " S-S-Sorry Asuka I was really thirsty last night and I drink it. " Shinji sniveled as Asuka got into his face, " YOU GREEDY PIG, ALWAYS THINKING OF YOURSELF, I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT COLA ALL DAMN DAY! " she screamed at Shinji who wilted like a small flower in a microwave oven set on high.

" S-S-S-Sorry! " Shinji whimpered as Asuka grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and began to shake him like a stuffed toy she once had when she was a little girl when she became angry and scared when her mother would look at her like she was going to eat her.

 

Misato was downing her seventh beer since she had got home and when she heard Asuka reaming out Shinji she knew it was time for her to do her half assed job of being a guardian to the two children before Asuka killed Shinji and there was also the fact that Shinji was cooking dinner and she was hungry and knew that dead men don't cook.

" ASUKA, LEAVE SHINJI ALONE! " she shouted and when she heard Asuka stomp off to her room she knew that all was right and well in the world and that she would be fed yet again.

 

Fifteen minutes later the three of them where seated at the table and there was a thick tension in the air as Asuka glared at Shinji as she ate her dinner and Misato knew that this was a time that she hated the most as Asuka when from an annoying loud mouthed, self centered child to the mega bitch of all bitches when she was on the rag and Misato could see that Asuka was still on a hair trigger as she continued to gobble down her dinner.

 

* Bing-Bong! *

 

" WELL DON'T SIT THERE, GO AND SEE WHO IT IS BAKA! " Asuka snapped as she gave Shinji the look of death number three, the look that she gave Shinji was when she was at her pissed off stage and closing in on a full blown * Let beat Shinji * frame of mind and Shinji quickly got to his feet and ran for the door and opened it.

" Hello Shinji, just the person I was looking for, you mind if I come in? " Kaji said as he gave Shinji a warm smile, " Umm this is not a good time Kaji. " Shinji said with a pained look on his face, " WHO'S HERE BAKA!? " Asuka shouted and her voice was filled with fire and brimstone that gave Shinji a chill down his spine and Kaji knew that by following the commander's orders to befriend Shinji he would be doing the boy a favor by getting him out of the house, " Asuka's on the rag? " Kaji said and Shinji nodded his head and that's when he decided to make a real effort to get Shinji out on the town for a relaxing guy's night out.

" It's Kaji! " Shinji called back to the others.

 

" KAJI!!!!! " Asuka squealed with girlish glee and got up from the table to see the man of her dreams while Misato let out a groan of frustration as Asuka pushed Shinji aside and glomped on to Kaji's right arm like a python snagging a boar for dinner and led him into the dinning room while giving him her well practiced look of girlish cuteness, you know the look I'm talking about, the face splitting smile with just a hint of pouting and the wide puppy dog eyes and Kaji felt his body trying to produce a near lethal amount of insulin in response to his contact with the overwhelming amount of sweetness that was flowing from Asuka like a tsunami of maple syrup.

 

" What do you want? " Misato said with a frosty tone of voice as Kaji gave her a charming smile while Asuka was feeling up his arm as she rubbed her body against his, " Well Sunshine as much as I'd like to say I came to see you- " Asuka felt a surge of excitement run though her body at his words because to her fevered thinking he was admitting that he had come to see her and that he was going to profess his undying love to her "- I came to see Shinji. " Kaji said and watched as Asuka let go of his arm and look at him with a stunned and non understanding look on her face as her mind tried to wrap around the fact that he was not here to see her.

" What?!?!? " Misato said with a confused look on her face as Asuka right eyebrow twitched as the veins in her forehead began to stand out, " I came to take Shinji out for a guy's night out on the town. " and both Misato and Asuka shivered slight just like a guy does when his loved one tells him that she is going out for a girl's night out as their minds where flooded with the image of both Kaji and Shinji dead drunk in some sleazy bar where skanky whores latched on to them to get a fresh injection of hot love from the two of them.

" WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU'RE TAKING THE BAKA OUT FOR A GUY'S NIGHT?!?!?!?!? " Asuka screamed as her anger at the fact that Kaji was not there to sweep her off her feet and take her back to his place and pound her pussy into taffy, Misato was on her feet but before she could say anything Asuka went nuclear, " WHAT THE HELL DO YOU WANT WITH THIS LAME ASS, LIMP DICKED ASSHOLE! " Asuka snarled as she started to tremble with rage.

 

Kaji leaned against the wall and lit himself up a smoke " I think that it is time for Shinji to have some fun, after all he does for not only you two but for the rest of the human race as well I think entitles him to have a fun night out on the town. " Kaji said with a smile as he looked at Shinji who began to feel a little uncomfortable with the looks that Asuka and Misato had on their faces and he looked at Kaji and thought about what he knew about the man before him.

" Why the hell does Kaji want to take me out on the town for?, I mean I can understand if he was asking Misato out but this is the last thing I expected from him. " Shinji thought to himself and he realized that Kaji was not a bad sort of guy and he did treat him with respect and friendship, Shinji looked over at Misato and Asuka and saw that there were pissed off about something as Misato got into Kaji's face.

" I'm not letting you drag Shinji off to some sleazy shit hole of a bar, he's only fourteen for fuck sakes! " Misato shouted as the veins in her neck stood out as her face turned a bright crimson and Shinji started to realize that if anyone had any real say in the matter it was him and the thought of spending the night with Asuka on her bitch fit from hell and Misato's over protectiveness was starting to anger him.

 

Kaji looked at Shinji and saw the dark look in his eyes and realized that Shinji was starting to get angry and he seized upon the moment, " I think Shinji is old enough to decided for himself what he wants to do, quite frankly I'm ashamed of you two, Misato I know that when you where his age you thought yourself as adult, as for you Asuka you are always acting like your trying to be adult when your still just a teenager so why should you get pissed off if Shinji decides that he wants to act like an adult and do the things that an adult does. " Kaji said with a calm tone of voice that took the wind out of Asuka and Misato's sails.

 

Shinji looked at Misato and Asuka standing there with there jaws on the floor in shock at Kaji's words and he decided right then and there that he would accept Kaji's invitation because not only did he not relish the thought of being around the two of them while they where in a bad mood because he knew that his night would be a living hell as they both vented their anger and frustrations on him he also want to show the two of them that he was indeed and adult and a very small part of him knew that both Misato and Asuka would be at one another's throats and he took a cruel delight at the mental image of a cat fight between Misato and Asuka.

" Sure let's go Kaji. " Shinji said and started to walk to the door as Kaji fell in step beside him and gave Shinji a pat on the back and a smile that left both Misato and Asuka wondering what was going between Shinji and Kaji then both Asuka and Misato fought claw, tooth and nail to get into the bathroom to puke up what they had eaten as their perverted minds show them a mental image of Kaji's plowing Shinji's ass as he did a reach around and that Shinji was enjoying himself as he and Kaji declared their undying love for each other in the act of man love.

 

Shinji looked at Kaji as they made there way to his midnight black Stingray and wondered what Kaji was playing at by taking him out for a night on the town.

" Kaji where are we going? " Shinji asked as they got into the Stingray, " Relax Shinji I know of a real nice place to relax and unwind. " Kaji said as he gunned the Stingray into drive and began to drive into the warm windy night, Shinji was watching out the window as they continued on there way when Kaji took out his cigarette pack and opened it and put out a joint and lit it up, Shinji looked over at Kaji and gave him a puzzled look as he smelled the smoke from the joint and thought it strange because it did not smell like a normal cigarette.

" Try some. " Kaji said as he held the burning joint out towards Shinji who gave him an alarmed look.

 

" That's pot isn't it? " Shinji asked as he looked at the joint like it was going to bite his balls off.

" Yes it is Shinji and I would never give you anything that would hurt you, try it you might like it. " Kaji said and Shinji looked at Kaji as his mind screamed at him not to take the joint because of the many reasons that he had been told that pot was a dangerous drug and saw that Kaji was not judging him and that he was not trying to force the pot on him in anyway, shape or form and he slowly reached out and took a the joint and placed it to his lips.

" Take a small toke. " Kaji said and saw the look of confusion on Shinji's face and realized that Shinji was not hip to the pot scene, " Inhale it slowly and hold in the smoke. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji took his first toke and coughed suddenly, " Don't worry you'll get use to it. " Kaji said as he took the joint from Shinji and made sure that the windows of his car where up so that they would be hot boxing it as they drove on.

 

Five minutes later the joint was done and Kaji could see that Shinji was buzzed out of his tree and gave himself a mental pat on the back as he saw Shinji melt into his seat in a state of total relaxation.

" How are you feeling? " Kaji said as he rolled down his window to let some fresh air into the car, Shinji looked at Kaji and grinned like a loony tune, " I'm feeling good. " Shinji said as he looked at his right hand and it seemed to him that it was something new and strange to him, " I'm glad to hear that, now don't you think this is better then staying at him with Misato and Asuka. " Kaji said as he made a slightly sharp right hand turn and Shinji felt like he was floating on air as he shifted his weight in response to the sharp turn.

So how has life between treating you Shinji? " Kaji asked as he continued to drive about Toyko-3 seeing as how they had some time to kill before it was time to got to the place that Kaji was going to take Shinji out to.

 

" Well Asuka is on the rag and she's been making my life a living hell. " Shinji said as he looked out the window and watched as the street lights flashed past him at a slowly rate as a warm breeze played over his face like the warm, soft gentle hands of a lover after he had opened the window , Kaji nodded his head in understanding and felt that this mission he was on was more of a mission of mercy then just a simple intelligence operation, " I bet Misato is just having a field day with this. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji lolled his head over towards him.

" To be fair to Misato she is trying her best to keep the peace but sometimes her teasing get's to be to much at times. " Shinji said and Kaji could tell that there was more that was bothering Shinji but at lest he had taken the first step and told him some of what was driving him up the wall and Kaji knew that he was going to have a hell of a time getting Shinji to bare his soul to him.

 

Fifteen minutes later they had reached there detestation and Shinji saw that they where on the outskirts of Toyko-3 and that they where in front of a large wrought iron gate and that there was a high wall that ran around the gates and into the under brush and trees of the forest they where in.

Kaji drove up to the inter-com that was set on a post at the side of the driveway that there where on and pressed the button, " The Ikari party is here. " he said into the inter-com and Shinji watched as the iron gate swung open and Shinji's eyes just about bugged out of his head as they drove up to a large house that looked like something from the eighteenth century.

" Where are we? " Shinji asked as he looked at the large house, Kaji gave him a smile, " Don't worry you'll like this. " he said as they walked up to the door of the huge house and rang the doorbell.

 

Shinji's eyes nearly bug out of his skull when he saw a lovely woman dressed in a green kimono with a black obi open the door and bow towards them, " Greetings and welcome Lords. " the woman said as Kaji returned the bow as Shinji was stunned by the whiteness of the woman's face and the darkness of around her eyes that had a regal and mature look in them and her darkened eye brows and Shinji felt a lump in his throat as he watched the woman's red lips move as she spoke for they looked oh so soft and inviting.

 

Kaji looked over at Shinji and saw the star struck look in his eyes as well as the tension in his body and it did not take a shrink to know from Shinji's posture that he had trouble being around women.

" Shinji. " Kaji said with a reassuring tone of voice and watched as Shinji came back to realty and quickly bowed towards the woman with a sheepish look on his face, once they finished bowing the woman let them into the outer foray and Kaji and Shinji took off there shoes and left them on the shoe mat.

 

" So who is the young man? " Kura Ito, the mistress of the Jubi Geisha house asked as she gave Shinji a friendly smile and giggled slightly as she saw him blush, " This is Shinji Ikari, the Third Child. " Kaji said and watched as Kura's eyes went wide with surprise, " I see. " Kura said as she realized that they had a very important guest for the night and she bowed once more to Shinji, " I hope you will enjoy your time here Ikari-sama. " she said reverently then led them into the main room.

 

Shinji looked at the main room and saw that there where five women and a young girl dressed in extravagant kimonos that where kneeling on tami mats and when they saw Shinji and Kaji they bowed as they greeting them, " Welcome Lords we will do everything we can to make your night a pleasurable one. " and raised there upper bodies and waited for Kaji and Shinji to take their place at the long, wide low set table that was in the center of the main room, surrounded with large overstuffed silk pillows.

 

Once Shinji and Kaji where seated on the pillows the five women and the young girl got to there feet and Kura walked over to them and gathered them around her and began to talk to them as Shinji looked at the table and saw that there was seven other pillows around the table and at each pillow there was a plate with a small clay cup and a pair of chop sticks on the table that had a large bonsai tree into the middle of it.

Kaji leaned over to Shinji and wispered to him, " This is not a whorehouse I respect you to much to bring to such a place, this is a respectable geisha house so keep your hands to yourself and relax and enjoy the entertainment. " he said as Kura pointed at him and both Shinji and Kaji could see the looks of awe in the geisha women's eyes and Shinji felt himself relax as he took note of the young geisha girl that walked over to where he was sitting and took a seat beside him.

 

Shinji looked at the young geisha girl and saw that she looked no older then twelve and he looked at her white face and dark eyes and eyebrows that stood out on her small, angelic face, her ruby red lips drawn into a coy smile as she looked into his eyes and Shinji could see warmth, kindness and a slightly worshipful look in her brown eyes, " Welcome Ikari-sama, I am Tori Kilo and I will be your companion for the evening." she said with a sweet warm tone of voice that turned Shinji's drug riddled mind into mush as he flushed slightly earning a small smile that graced her lips and Shinji felt himself shiver slightly as Tori laid a hand on his shoulder as she broke out into a dazzling smile that made Shinji's heart race.

Kaji could see the smitten look on Shinji's face and knew that this was going to be a true test of his character as a lovely looking woman who looked to be in her early twenties sat down next to him, " I am Yumi Fujitsu and I will be your companion for the evening. " she said with a graceful ease of a seasoned geisha women that made Kaji smile as he began to unwind himself as his buzz kicked into high gear and the other geisha introduced themselves one after another.

 

Kura watched from the side of the main room as her girls introduced them themselves and she smile with pride as her girls poured on the charm and she had a feeling that this was going to be a long and pleasant night.

" What would you like to drink Lords? " Midori Sumwara asked as she looked at Kaji who gave her a charming smile, " Hot sake. " he said and watched as Midori made a graceful exit and looked over to Shinji and saw he was still a little uptight as he feasted his eyes on Tori who had a coy and some what shy look on her face as she began to flirt with Shinji who was grinning like an idiot.

" Men where always meant to be surrounded by lovely women but that does not mean you act like a horny teenager, a man always shows restraint when it comes to the fairer sex because a true man is a gentleman. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji gave him a puzzled look, " What do you mean? " he asked Kaji as Midori returned with a tray with a large sake bottle and sat down at the end of the table and waited for Tori and Yumi to past there lord's sake cup down to her.

" Shinji it's easy to give into your base instincts but showing restraint and respect is what separates a men from males. " Kaji said as Yumi past his sake cup to Ayame who held it out to Midori to fill, Shinji thought about what Kaji had said and realized that he was right and came to understand what Kaji was hinting at and realized that he was going to have a hard time reining in his lust for Tori and simply enjoy her company but he vowed that he would do his best to be a gentleman.

 

Kaji took his filled sake cup of Yumi and waited for Shinji to get his filed cup from Tori and when he had it he told Shinji to drink up and watched as Shinji brought his cup to his mouth and slowly sipped the hot sake, Shinji had a slight grimace on his face as the sake went down his throat and despite the strong flavor it went down smoothly and that he did not mind the taste, in fact it was rather enjoyable and he looked over at Kaji and watched him drink his sake with a smile on his face and Shinji felt a pleasant warmth spread though out his body and he handed his cup back to Tori who was drinking her own cup of sake as she felt excited at being so close to the hero of Tokyo-3 and the world as she felt a slight stirring in her loins.

" So Ikari-sama what's it like being an eva pilot? " she asked as she passed his cup down to Midori who filled it and when Tori saw the pained look on Shinji's face she felt bad that she had brought up a painful subject and quickly took his filled sake cup from Midori hand held it up to Shinji.

 

Kaji could see by that pained look on Shinji's face that he wanted to tell Tori about his experiences in Unit-01 but he was being stopped by his shyness and his ingrained tendency to keep things to himself, " Shinji it's ok to talk about it so long as you do not divulge any classified information. " Kaji said with a reasuring tone of voice because he knew that this was something he needed to get off his chest and watched as Shinji took his cup of sake from Tori and quickly drain it as he had a sour look on his face.

" It hurts, there is nothing but pain and misery for me when I pilot Unit-01. " Shinji said with a wispiering tone of voice that was so ladened with pain and horror that everyone there felt there hearts go out to the brave young man who risked his ass time and again to save them all even though it brought him nothing but pain and emotional torment, " How do you stand it? " Tori asked with a baited breath as she felt her heart brake at the look of utter suffering on Shinji's face, " I do it because there is no one else who can do it, it's up to me to save the human race no matter what happens to me. " Shinji said with such a voice of despair that he began to cry as the horrors of his life began to flood his mind and he cursed himself for braking down.

 

Tori moved towards Shinji and hugged him tightly to her as she wrapped her arms around him and began to rub his back as he cried on her shoulder and she felt pity for him, " No one should have to suffer so much. " she thought to herself as everyone in the main room watched with feelings of pity and a strange tightness in their chests as Shinji continued to weep and they neither moved nor said a thing as they realized that Shinji need to vent all the emotional hell he was in by the simple act of crying.

 

Shinji held Tori to him like a drowning man would hold on to anything to keep him afloat as his tears streaked down his face and onto the left shoulder of Tori's kimono as he felt a strange comfort in being held like he was as he remembered the time he had fallen down when he was two years old and skinned his knee and of how his mother had held him and rubbed his back as he cried and he felt as if the weight of the world that had been his burden to bare ever since his mother had died was lifted from his weary shoulders if even for just a split second as his tears made a wet spot on Tori's kimono.

 

After a few minutes Shinji managed to get himself under control and slowly let go of Tori and looked down in shame at having been so weak, Kaji looked at Shinji saw the emotional holocaust in his eyes, " Feel better Shinji? " he asked with a fatherly tone of voice or what he hope was a fatherly tone voice and scooted over to him and put a hand on his shoulder and waited for Shinji to look at him, a few seconds later Shinji worked up the nerve to looked at Kaji and saw that he had a kind smile on his face.

" Shinji it's ok to cry, it natural to cry when you are sad so don't feel bad about it, Let have some fun. " Kaji said as he walked out of the room and Shinji let out a vile curse at Kaji then it hit him that Kaji had tried to put a limit on his drinking as he recalled what Kaji had told him about the night before and realized that it was his fault that he had told Kaji that he could hand his liquor due to the fact that Kaji had gone into great detail on how Shinji had put up a fuss about his drink limit.

 

A few minutes later Kaji returned to the bedroom with two very large mug of what Shinji guessed to be coffee and his gut let out a muffled scream at the thought of more of the foul, acidic fluid.

Kaji handed Shinji one of the mugs of coffee, sat down beside the bed and watched as Shinji's face was twisted into a frightening grimace as he drank from his mug of coffee, Kaji pulled out another joint and lit it up

" Kaji don't you think you're toking to much? " Shinji asked as he took another sip of his coffee and felt like the top layer of his tongue's skin had been peeled away by the strong coffee.

" Shinji I have been toking for years, I know my limit, besides this is a tried and true hang over cure. " Kaji said with a smile as he handed the joint to Shinji who shrugged his shoulders and took a hit off the joint and then handed it back to Kaji as he felt his guts starting to settle down as he took another sip of his coffee and was thankful that his guts had decided not to try and send it back up.

 

" That reminds me I have something for you. " Kaji said as he finished off his coffee and got to his feet and walked over to a dresser and opened one of the drawers, Shinji watched as Kaji pulled out a large bag that was filled with what looked like dried green leafs and Shinji knew that it was pot, " Kaji as much as I like dope I'm not sure that I want to make a habit of smoking up, besides Misato would freak out if she knew I was toking. " Shinji said as he managed to choke down the last of his coffee then he got out of the bed and felt the room sway a bit but he managed to keep not only his balance but his coffee in his guts as well despite the urge to vomit.

 

Kaji pulled out a pack of rolling papers and told Shinji to have seat as he took Shinji's empty coffee mug and placed it on the dresser with his own empty mug, when Shinji was seated on the edge of the bed Kaji opened the bag of pot and told Shinji it was time for him to lean how to roll a joint.

" You have got to be kidding, I'm in no shape to learn anything. " Shinji groused as he felt his stomach lurched slightly, " Nonsense, this is the perfect time to learn. " Kaji said as he took out a rolling paper and held it opened with the pointer finger and thumb as he took out a small amount of pot and filled the rolling paper with the pot, Shinji watched as Kaji took the joint and rolled it with the pointer finger and thumb of both his hands and then lick the protruding edge of the rolling paper where the strip of water based glue was and give the joint a final roll and held up the joint for Shinji to inspect.

 

" It's easy once you get the hang of it. " Kaji said with a reassuring tone of voice as he pulled out his pack of smokes and tucked away the joint after he opened it, Kaji then handed Shinji the bag of dope and the rolling papers and told Shinji to try and roll a joint.

Shinji took out one of the rolling papers and looked it over, " The first thing you do is fold the paper so that the strip of glue is facing the inside of the joint. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji folded the paper so it formed a small trough, " Next you take a bit of grass and filled the paper, make sure that the paper is filled with an even amount of pot. " Kaji said as he watched Shinji filled the rolling paper with a slightly shaky hand that spilled a small amount of the dope, " Sorry. " Shinji said as he took a look at the jointed and saw that it was full of what he guessed to be the right amount of pot, " Don't worry about it. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji placed his pointer fingers and thumbs around the edge of the joint.

 

" Ok now roll the joint in between your fingers and thumbs. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji tried a few times to roll the joint so that the unglued end of the rolling paper was tucked in around the pot as he rolled the joint when Shinji applied to much force and ripped the rolling paper with a curse.

" Not bad for your first try, try again. " Kaji said with a patient tone of voice and watched as Shinji unrolled the ripped rolling paper a bit and drop the pot back into the bag as Kaji watched him as he lit up a cigarette and Shinji pulled out a fresh rolling paper.

 

Five minutes later and seven ripped rolling papers later Shinji rolled his first joint, " Not bad Shinji, trust me you'll get better at it as time goes by. " Kaji said with a smile as he got to his feet and gave Shinji his lighter, " It's time to get you home, I bet Misato and Asuka will be climbing the walls with worry. " Kaji said as Shinji gingerly got to his feet as his brain began to throb, Misato maybe but I bet Asuka is going to get into my face when I get home. " Shinji said with a tired and slightly dejected tone of voice.

 

" Why do you let her run roughshod over you? " Kaji asked as they made there way to his car, " I don't know Kaji, I mean Asuka can be a good person when she wants to be but most of the time she's so pissed off about something that I just try to avoid setting her off. " Shinji said as they got into the Stingray.

" Shinji it's not healthy for you to let Asuka make your life miserable, stand up to her and Misato and keep standing up to them. " Kaji said as he backed the car out of his driveway as Shinji's pounding head and queazy stomach howled into posted due to the motion of the car.

 

As they where driving Kaji could see that Shinji was feeling like a mile high stack of dead shit and decided not to bother him with his advice as they made there way through Toyko-3 due to the slightly troubled look of Shinji's pale and somewhat green hued face.

 

Once they reached Shinji's apartment Kaji parked the car and got out of the Stingray as did Shinji, " Oh before you go I have something for you. " he said as he reached into the back seat of his car and pulled out Tori's bonsai tree and held out for Shinji to take.

" Thanks Kaji. " Shinji said as he took the bonsai tree from Kaji and looked it over with tried eyes, " Don't thank me, the tree came from a special young lady last night. " Kaji said and watched as Shinji gave him a questioning look, " Who is she? " Shinji asked and Kaji could see the confusion, fear and wonderment in Shinji's eyes as the boy wrapped his brain around the fact that a special lady had given him the bonsai tree, let alone that a women would give him anything or even have anything to do with him.

" Shinji as much as it pains me to say this you had better forget about the lady who gave this to you, you both come from very different worlds and I know that the type of relationship that you might have would not survive for very long. " Kaji said as they made their way up the stairs of the apartment building

 

" Damn it Kaji tell me who she is! " Shinji said with a slightly disparate and pissed off tone of voice as they continued to make there way up the stairs, " Shinji the girl in question is only twelve years old and I knew from bitter experience that any relationship between you two will be doomed to failure. " Kaji said and Shinji got a pissed off look on his face as his head pounded all the more due to the tension and frustration Shinji was under as his mind scrambled to try and recall any fragments of a girl from last night but came up with a big fat zero.

 

" God damn it Kaji, tell me who she is! " Shinji snarled slight as they reached the front door of Shinji's home and Kaji could see that Shinji was not going to let the matter drop and told him all about Tori and what had happened between them that night and when he was done speaking Kaji could see the look of utter embracement on Shinji's face as well as a mixture of shame and relief in his eyes as they entered the apartment.

 

As soon as they entered Shinji's apartment both Asuka and Misato where waiting and when they saw the sorry state Shinji was in they where staring to give Shinji a hard time but he cut them off.

" FUCK OFF! " Shinji snarled at Asuka and Misato as he gave them a baleful glare as the throbbing in his head increased to the point where it felt like there was a demented road crew working on his brain with heavy equipment and high explosives with each beat of his heart, Misato and Asuka could see that Shinji was hung over and they both got over their shock at Shinji's outburst and began to read him the riot act.

 

" Shinji you're to young to be drinking! " Misato said as she gave the sick looking Shinji a hard stare that didn't seem to do much to Shinji and deep in her heart Misato felt a little sorry for Shinji as she recalled the many hang overs she had in her life, " This is why you should not be drinking because it's obvious that you can not handle your liquor. " she added and watched as Shinji gave her a baleful look.

" Like you're the one to talk. " Shinji snarled as he looked over at Asuka who was standing in front of him

and he could see that she was starting to turn red in the face because of her anger towards him, " Aww is poor little Shinji feeling sick? " Asuka cooed with an ass load of sarcasm and watched as Shinji gave her a cold look, " What the hell is this stupid thing? " Asuka asked as she looked at the bonsai tree in Shinji's hands.

 

" It's a gift. " Shinji said as he felt his anger starting to grow with each passing minute.

" It figures, the hero of Toyko-3 gets gifts while the rest of us get jack shit! " Asuka said with a pissed off look in her eyes that made Shinji all the more pissed off, " Fuck off you bitch! " Shinji shouted and took savage enjoyment at the slightly gutted look on Asuka's face, Misato and Kaji where pleasantly surprised by the spine that Shinji was showing towards Asuka.

 

When Asuka heard that she blew her top and grabbed the bonsai tree out of Shinji's hands and threw it to the floor of the apartment and began to stomp on it while she was cursing out Shinji who had a stunned look on his haggard looking face as Asuka continued to vent her period induced venom and abuse as she continued to stomp on the helpless bonsai tree with an evil smile.

 

Asuka felt good as she continued to hurl her hateful abuse at Shinji as she continued to stomp of the bonsai tree that was looking like it had gotten ran over by a steamroller when she became aware of the fact that she was no longer standing on the floor as she felt herself being slammed into the wall behind her as Shinji was holding her in the air as he started to strangle her with both his hands, Asuka looked at Shinji and saw the same cold and ruthless look in his eyes, the same look that his father usually had on his face and she felt her blood turned to ice water as she realized that she had pushed Shinji to and passed his braking point and that she was going to die because of it.

 

Kaji and Misato where stunned by the display of violence from Shinji as Asuka's face began to turn an interesting shade of blue as she gasped for breath and they managed to get out of there state of shock and they both began to try and pry Shinji's hands loose from around Asuka's neck as Asuka began to black out from the lack of oxygen to the brain.

" SHINJI LET GO OF HER! " Misato shouted as she got a good look at the cold and somewhat lifeless look on Shinji's face and she felt a slight chill of fear race up her spine as she tried to pry Shinji's right hand loose from Asuka's throat but found that she could not due to the seemly inhuman strength that Shinji was displaying, Kaji grabbed Shinji's left hand and managed to pry his index finger loose from Asuka's throat as he saw Asuka's eyes roll up into the back of her head and began to bend Shinji's index finger back as far as he could without braking it.

 

Shinji dropped Asuka to the floor as he saw her wet herself and turned away with a disgusted look on his face, " BACK OFF! " Shinji shouted at Kaji and Misato who let go of him as they saw the rage flare up in his eyes and once Shinji was sure that both Misato and Kaji where not going to try and restrain him as they let go of his hands.

Shinji spun back to face the gasping Asuka, " Asuka if you ever bother me again I will personally make your life a living hell so if you value your worthless life you stupid cunt you will stay the hell out of my way! " Shinji snarled as Asuka looked up at him with a fearful look then he turned away from her and began to gather up what was left of the bonsai tree and saw that it was beyond saving and took it and threw it into the garbage.

 

Once things settled down Misato took Asuka to the bathroom to check out her throat that was badly bruised, " Asuka what you did was way out of line. " Misato said to Asuka who looked like she was on the verge of tears, Misato could see that Asuka was not going to reply to her words and she let out a frustrated sigh and told Asuka to get cleaned up and left Asuka alone in the bathroom and once she was gone Asuka broke down and began to cry as the shame of having wet herself overwhelmed her.

 

Kaji could see that Shinji was pissed right off and he took a moment to think of what he was going to say to Shinji even though he was proud of Shinji for having stood up for himself even though he had to get Shinji hung over to do so he could not approve of the way Shinji had gone about it.

" Shinji what you did was wrong, you could have stood up for yourself in a non violent way. " Kaji said to Shinji who let out a snort of contempt, " The only thing that stupid bitch understands is force. " Shinji said as he felt like his brain was going to implode due to his hang over and the stress he was under but before they could exchange any more words Misato came into the living room but before she could say anything Shinji turned to face her with a very pissed look on his face.

 

" Misato don't you start giving me any shit, I have put up with Asuka's bullshit for long enough, also I have had it with you're constant teasing so both of you back the hell off! " Shinji snarled and stared right into Misato's eyes as he and Misato found themselves in a battle of wills that neither of them where willing to lose.

 

Misato blinked first and then looked away from Shinji for a few seconds then she looked back at him and saw the look of barely suppressed rage in his eyes, " Shinji get ready for school, I don't want to hear any complaints and we will talk about this after you get home from school. " she said with a firm, no nonsense tone of voice as she glared at Shinji who let out a curse as he made his way to his room to get his things for school for he knew from that look on Misato's face and the tone of her voice that he was not going to be able to argue with her about not going to school, once Shinji was gone Misato spun around and began to rip Kaji a new asshole for getting Shinji drunk.

 

As Shinji was walking towards the school he ran into Kensuke and Toji as Asuka trailed behind him.

" Geez Shinji what the hell happened to you? " Toji asked as he and Kensuke got a good look at Shinji's pale and somewhat green looking face, " I'm hung over. " Shinji said as the three of them made there way into the school, " You look like something the cat declined to drag in, why didn't you stay home for? " Kensuke asked .

" Misato told me I had to go to school even though I'm suffering, she has no heart. " Shinji said and both Toji and Kensuke knew that was not true as they both realized that Misato was trying to teach their friend a lesson and they felt sympathy for there suffering friend.

" Where's Asuka you two usually walk together. " Kensuke asked and before Toji could make his usual cutting remarks about Asuka Shinji surprised them, " I have no idea where that bitch is and as far as I am concerned she can drop dead! " Shinji said with a hateful tone of voice that gave Kensuke and Toji the willies for they had never seen Shinji so bent out of shape.

" So you and her had a fight? " Toji asked with a quiet tone of voice for he knew from the look on Shinji's face that he was not in the mood for his teasing, " Just drop it ok! " Shinji said with a slightly snarly tone of voice that surprised both of his friends for they had never seen Shinji so worked up before.

" Well ok but tell us did you steal some Misato's beer? " Kensuke asked, hoping that by changing the subject he would be able to get Shinji out of his foul mood.

 

Shinji looked at Kensuke and Toji and saw the slightly concerned looks on there faces and decided to tell them about his night at the geisha house and made sure to leave out the incident between him and Tori in the bathroom of the geisha house.

 

Hikari just about had a fit when she saw Asuka's bruised throat, " Asuka what happened to you?! " she asked and watched as Asuka looked at her and she could see a devastated and some what fearful look on her friend's face that knocked her socks off, " I don't want to talk about it. " Asuka croaked with a wispier like voice and from the some what haunted look in her eyes Hikari knew that something bad had happened to Asuka and as much as she wanted to pry the answers out of her friend Hikari knew that now what not the time to be playing the twenty questions game with Asuka.

" Ok Asuka but if you need to talk about it I'm here for you. " Hikari said with a comforting tone of voice as they made there way to their classroom.

 

Gendo was reading over the latest budget report when the door to his office opened and in walk Kaji.

" I'm here to make my report about Shinji. " Kaji said as he stood before the commander's desk with a slightly nervous feeling for he knew that the commander was up to something concerning his son but he was damned if he could figure out what the commander was up to.

" Sit down. " Gendo said as he folded his hands over his lower face and gave Kaji a somewhat piercing stare as Kaji took a seat and began to recount the events at the geisha house.

" I see is there anything else you wish to add to this report? " Gendo asked with a suggestive tone of voice that told Kaji that Gendo knew something had happened to Shinji at the geisha house and he decided to come clean with the commander because he knew that the commander would find out sooner of later and he did not need Gendo making his life miserable for withholding information from him about Shinji's night out on the town and told him about the incident between Shinji and Tori in the bathroom of the geisha house.

When Kaji was done telling the commander about the incident between his son and Tori he could have sworn that the commander was smiling even thought he could not see his mouth.

 

" I see is there anything else you with to add to your report? " Gendo asked with a neutral tone of voice as he saw Kaji trying to relax and decided that he would not make an issue about the incident between his son and the geisha girl, " No sir I have nothing else I wish to add to my report save for the fact that Shinji is starting to grow up and he needs a strong father figure to guide him. " Kaji said with a slight hint of destain in his voice that did not go unnoticed by the commander.

" I see, dismissed. " Gendo said and watched as Kaji got up from his seat and leave his office and not a moment to soon as Gendo was racked by a lung shredding cough, once the coughing stopped Gendo opened his desk draw and took out a bag of grass and rolled himself up a cannon, once he was done with that Gendo put the bag back into his desk, shut the drawer and lit up the joint.

 

As Gendo sat there smoking the joint his mind turned towards his son as he recalled the hard times he had when he had been Shinji's age and the difficulties he had when it came to relationships with the members of the opposite sex.

As Gendo sat there smoking the joint his drug fueled mind came up with a with an idea that would not only help Shinji lose his virginity but also help him become a fairly skilled lover and so with a truly frightening grin on his face Gendo picked up the phone in his office and made a call.

 

Shinji was sitting in his seat as he listened to the teacher drone on how his life had been a living hell in the aftermath of second impact and his head began to throb with each word that the teacher said and he let out a groan as he put his head down on his arms that where resting on the top of his desk.

" I'm never drinking again! " Shinji muttered to himself as he felt like his guts where slam dancing in his body when he recalled the bag of pot in his pants pocket and raised his head from his arms and put his hand up.

" Do you have something to say Mister Ikari? " the teacher asked and all eyes turned to look at Shinji for it was well known though out the school that Shinji was the most quiet and depressed student in the entire school who never spoke to anyone unless he was spoken to.

 

" I need to use the bathroom. " Shinji said as he felt slightly uncomfortable with the looks he was getting from the other students as he felt like his brain was spinning like a demented top, " You may go. " the teacher said and everyone watched as Shinji got up from his seat and began to make his way out of the classroom as Toji and Kensuke felt pity towards Shinji for they where sure that Shinji was heading to the washroom to puke up his guts due to his hang over as they watched Shinji slowly make his way out of the classroom.

 

Asuka on the other hand was watching Shinji with a confused state of mind because she knew that she could no longer use Shinji as her scratching post due to the fact that Shinji had nearly killed her earlier in the morning and she was also unsure as what to make of the new Shinji because she had always been harping on Shinji to show some back bone knowing that he would never do so but now that he had not only shown that he had a back bone but had also shown her that he was an adult or so he wanted her and Misato to believe by spending the night before out drinking with Kaji and she was unsure as what to think about Shinji.

" Well I suppose that it was only a matter of time before Shinji blew his top and it seems that he has become a man. " Asuka thought to herself when suddenly her mind flashed her an image of a naked Shinji standing before with a massive hard on and she felt sickened and aroused at the same time due to her sub-contuse fear of penetration and her growing need for a lover due to her raging hormones that cast her troubled mind into a state of need and loathing that was driving her up the wall with confusion, so Asuka sat there with a grimace on her face as her mind continued to show her erotic images of Shinji having his way with her and she felt shame having such feelings about the boy that she hated and despised for his weakness.

 

" This is bullshit! " Asuka thought to herself as she felt herself becoming damp between the legs as her mind flashed her an image of Shinji eating her out with a sappy grin on his face as she creamed all over his face and so with a groan Asuka put her head down on her arms that where resting on the top of her desk and did her best to try and stop her mind from showing her more of the erotic images of Shinji and her as lovers as she did her best to push aside her growing arousal.

 

Rei watched as Shinji shuffled out of the classroom and she felt an unfamiliar feeling of concern for she had seen how pale and some what shaky Shinji was, also there was the fact that she had seen Shinji and Asuka walking to school at a distance from one another which was unusual for them because until this morning Shinji and Asuka had been coming to school together and there was also the fact that she had seen Asuka's bruised throat and as much as she wanted to know what was going between Shinji and Asuka something in the back of her mind had told Rei to stay out of it and the longer she observed the interaction or more to the point the lack of the usual interaction between Shinji and Asuka the more Rei wanted to know what was going on between them for she was very concerned that something bad had befallen Shinji.

Rei put up her hand and when the teach asked what she wanted Rei told him that she had to use the bathroom and when the teacher dismissed her Rei got up from her seat and quickly left the classroom in the hope of catching up to Shinji.

 

As Shinji was making his way to the nearest boy's bathroom he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end as a chill raced down his spine, " I'm just being paranoid. " Shinji thought to himself because of the fact that he had brought an illegal drug onto the school property, little did he know that his journey to the boy's bathroom was being watched by a pair of intense red eyes as he opened the door to the bathroom.

Once Shinji was in the bathroom he went into the nearest toilet stall and sat down on the crapper trapper and pulled out the bag of weed with a smile on his face as he took out the first joint he had ever rolled and lit it up with the lighter that Kaji had given him.

 

" That hits the spot. " Shinji thought to himself as he took a long toke from the joint when his mind wondered on to the image of him strangling Asuka and he felt torn between apologizing to Asuka and his lingering anger towards her for having destroyed the bonsai tree that Tori had given him.

" What the fuck, why should I say I'm sorry to Asuka for, she has done nothing but make my life a living hell. " Shinji thought to himself as he continued to toke on the joint, " But I think I might have gone to far when I just about killed her. " Shinji's mind added as he exhaled the lung full of pot smoke as his feeling towards Asuka cast his mind into a confused state for he was attracted to Asuka, hell any male with in a mile or so of Asuka would be attracted to her or so Shinji thought. " But her personalty sucks the root! " Shinji thought to himself as he continued to smoke the joint and he felt like tearing out his hair in frustration due to the confusing feelings that he had for Asuka.

 

Rei stood outside of the boy's bathroom as she debated the idea of sneaking into the boy's bathroom so she could talk to Shinji but her proper upbringing told her that it was improper for a girl to walk into a boy's bathroom when her mind flashed her the memory of the time she had seen Shinji naked after the first attack from the fifth angel when she had brought him not only a new plug suit but his meal as well as she briefed him on the Operation Yashema timetable and she felt a slight thrill race though her mind as she though about getting another view of Shinji's tool, so with a smile on her face Rei walked into the boy's bathroom.

 

The first thing Rei noticed was a strange smell in the air of the boy's bathroom, " Is this what a boy's bathroom normally smells like? " Rei thought to herself as she took a few tentative steps into the boy's bathroom as she felt an unfamiliar excitement flow though out her body then she noticed that there was a small streamer of smoke coming from one of the stalls and realized that someone was smoking in the stall.

 

Rei walked along the row of stalls and saw that there was an open stall next to the one where the smoke was coming from and saw that the door to the stall on the other side of the open stall was closed so she entered the open stall and shut the door and locked it, once that was done Rei climbed onto the toilet and looked over to the stall next to her's and saw that there was no one in it then she looked over the wall to the stall that had the smoke coming from her and just about dropped a log as she saw Shinji sitting on the toilet with his pants up and smoking what looked like a cigarette.

 

" Pilot Ikari is smoking? " Rei asked herself as she continued to observe Shinji as she took a sniff of the smoke from what she thought was a cigarette but there was something that was amiss with what she was seeing before besides the fact that Shinji was smoking and it took a few seconds for Rei to realize that what Shinji was smoking was not a normal cigarette due to the fact that she had been in Ritsuko's offices when she was smoking and she could tell that the smoke from whatever Shinji was smoking was very different from the normal smell of cigarette and Rei decided to get to the bottom of the matter.

" Pilot Ikari what are you doing? " Rei called out and watched as Shinji dropped whatever he was smoking and began to cough as he looked up at her with a fearful look, " Ayanami what the hell are you doing

here?! " Shinji managed to croak out as he fought to get his coughing under control.

Rei gave Shinji a somewhat disapproving and puzzled look, " I was going to ask you the same thing. " Rei said as she watched Shinji reach down and pick up the burning joint and throw it into the toilet as he got to his feet and once he was standing up Shinji flushed the toilet to get rid of what was left of the joint.

" You should not be here Ayanami, this is a boy's bathroom for crying out loud! " Shinji said as he opened the door to the stall he was in as Rei climbed down from the toilet.

 

When Rei came out of the stall she stood before Shinji with a questioning look in her ruby red eyes as she spoke to him with a slightly demanding tone of voice, " Pilot Ikari why are you smoking and what where you smoking? " Rei asked and watched as a fretful looked appeared on Shinji's face.

" Damn it what the fuck am I going to tell her?! " Shinji though to himself as he looked at Rei's dead pan face and decided that what he did with his life was his own affair as he began to get mad with Rei's spying on him

" Look Rei what I'm doing does not concern you ok! " he said with a cross tone of voice and watched as a hurt look appeared on Rei's face and began to mentally kick his own ass for being such a heel, " I see. " Rei said with a confused tone of voice as she felt like someone had sucker punched her in the guts for Shinji had never been angry with her before and she was unsure as what to make of this turn of events.

 

Shinji could see that Rei was hurt by his words and he felt lower then a snake's balls as he thought he saw a tear from in Rei's eyes, " Look Rei I'm sorry I snapped at you, it's just that I'm under a lot of stress right now and I'm doing the best I can to keep a lid on it all but it's like being on the edge of a cliff that's slow crumbing under my feet. " Shinji said and watched as Rei gave him a questioning look that Shinji was thankful for because he had been so sure that Rei was going to start cry because of his harsh words.

" The commander has given us a new assignment, we are to pick up Shinji and go to our base in Mataschiro and after we have finished inspecting the base we are to spend the rest of the week seducing Shinji. " Ritsuko said with a calm and to the point tone of voice, " WHAT! " Maya said as she got to her feet and dropped her cup of coffee in shocked outrage.

" Maya if we don't do this the commander will make us suffer and I know for a fact that both of our suffering will be long and very painful. " Ritsuko said as she put down her cup of coffee, Maya could see the fear in Ritsuko's eyes and she knew that if she and her lover wished to continue living they would have no choice but to do as they where told, " Maya when the commander told me what he wanted us to do I felt sick to my stomach but then I thought about it and realized that if I'm going to be damned I might as well enjoy it. " Ritsuko said with a strained smile, " But I never-I- " Maya sputtered in moral outrage, " I mean he's only fourteen for crying out loud! " Maya shouted as she go over the shock of the commander's outrageous orders.

" I know but we have no choice in the matter, that bastard made it more then clear that if we don't do this he will torture us and I know from first hand experience that the commander is an expert in the art of torture. " Ritsuko said as she recalled the many times that Gendo had sexually tortured her into a mind shattering orgasm and from those experiences she knew that Gendo was also very well versed in inflecting pain for pain's sake.

 

" The commander also made it very clear that we would not have to worry about any legal repercussions, to quote the commander " We are Nerv, there for we are above the laws of Japan so you will not have to worry about any possible jail time. " Ritsuko said and watched as Maya sat back down with an unsure look on her face and that's when she decided to close the deal.

 

" You have to admit that Shinji is a handsome young man and you also know that Shinji is an innocent babe in the woods, hell I bet you that he's still a virgin and what better way for Shinji to lose his virginity then to have us two lovely woman take it from him. " Ritsuko said with a sly and mischievous grin that made Maya blush right down to her toes but she was still unsure of herself.

" Shinji is kind, caring and a gentleman what better lover could you ask for? " Ritsuko added as she watched as a thoughtful look appeared on Maya's face and they sat there in her office for a few minutes not saying a thing until Maya broke the silence.

" Sempi when do we start this and is there anything else that the commander said about this? " Maya said with an unsure tone of voice as she thought about Shinji and realized that Ritsuko was right in saying that Shinji would make an excellent lover, " The commander has made it very clear that we are not to reveal to anyone especially Shinji that we are doing this under his orders and as for when we start this assignment we leave immediately. " Ritsuko said as she finished off her coffee as Maya bend down to pick up her dropped coffee cup.

 

" Well if we have to do this I'll go along with it but you know I'm going to have a hard time with this you know. " Maya said as she got up from her seat and put the empty cup on Ritsuko's desk, " I know but I'm sure that once you get into the swing of things you'll do just fine. " Ritsuko said as the two of them made their way out of her office, " Do you have any idea as to why the commander is ordering us to sleep with Shinji? " Maya asked as the two of them where making there way to the motor pool.

" I think the commander is finally seeing Shinji as his son, he said in a around about way that he was worried about Shinji's state of mind, that Shinji sees himself as alone and friendless. " Ritsuko said and watched as Maya gave her a puzzled look as he entered the motor pool a few minutes later.

 

" If that's true then why doesn't the commander talk to his son for? " Maya asked as they got into Ritsuko's car, " I don't think the commander knows how to talk to Shinji, they have been separated for so long that they are strangers to one another is my guess. " Ritsuko said as she drove the car out of Nerv, Maya sat there thinking about what Ritsuko had said concerning the commander and Shinji but she could not wrap her mind around the notion that the commander was trying to reach out and form a father/son relationship with Shinji.

 

 

By the time Shinji and Asuka got home from school Shinji was tired and decided to relax in his room but Misato saw the tried look on Shinji's face and could not resist the urge to tease him and Asuka who where taking off there shoes but before she could say a word the doorbell rang.

" I'll get it. " Shinji said and walked over to the door and opened it and just about keeled over in surprise,

" Dr.Akgai, Lieutenant Ibuki what are you doing here? " Shinji asked with a confused tone of voice as he got the strange feeling something was amiss, " Who's here Shinji? " Misato called out and Shinji was about to tell her that Ritsuko and Maya where here but Ritsuko put her finger to her lips as she and Maya entered the apartment.

" Ritsuko?!?!, Maya?!?! what are you two doing here? " Misato said as she walked into the kitchen to get herself another beer as Asuka said down into front of the tv and changed the channel from the game show that Misato had been watching to her favorite soap opera.

" Well Misato me and Maya have to make an inspection of our base in Mataschiro and I thought Shinji might like to come along. " Ritsuko said with a sweet an innocent tone of voice that told Misato something was up with her old friend, " How long would we be gone for? " Shinji asked as Misato sat down at the table, the tv forgotten as she continued to watch Ritsuko with a strange and unsettling feeling.

 

" We would be gone for a week or so. " Ritsuko said with a big smile on her face that made Shinji's mind turn to mush, " Excuse me but there's no way Shinji is going to take off for an ENTIRE week, he has school you know! " Misato shouted as she slammed her beer down on the table with a very pissed off look on her face.

Asuka heard what was being said and became slightly outrage at the thought of Shinji getting an entire week out of school for no good reason other then the fact that the bottled blond and her rug munching friend had to go to some dumb ass base for an inspection and she walked over to the table and waited to see what was going to happen next.

 

" Aww are you afraid we're going to steal your little Shinji from you. " Ritsuko said with a teasing tone of voice as Shinji got his brain into gear and began to think about Ritsuko's offer, " Afraid! I'll show you afraid!" Misato snarled and looked over at Shinji and she could see the wheels turning in his mind.

" What if an angel attacks have you thought about that?! " Misato said with a very pissed off tone of voice as she took a long pull from her beer.

Undaunted by Misato's display of anger Ritsuko spoke, " We will have a VTOL jet standing by to bring us back to Nerv in case of an angel attack so you don't have to worry about that Misato. " and watched as Misato continued to stare daggers at her, " Besides don't you think it's up to Shinji to decided for himself what he wants to do? " Ritsuko added and Shinji began to think long and hard about that.

" Well I could spend the week with a drunk and a red headed bitch from hell or I could go with Ritsuko and Maya to see a new Nerv base. " Shinji said out loud and watched as both Asuka and Misato's faces faulted at his words then the two women exploded like an N^2 mine.

 

" Shinji you are not going with them, I am your guardian and as long as I am you will damn well listen to me and do what I say! " Misato shouted as she crushed her beer can in her right hand, spilling beer all over her hand and table, " It's not fair why the hell should he get to skip school just to see some dumb Nerv base! " Asuka whined with a pissed off tone of voice of her own as Shinji stood there and gave them a frosty look that put a halt to there outraged voices.

" Misato I'm old enough to decide what to do with my life, you two have been making my life a living hell for the last little while so I'm going and there is nothing you two can do to stop me! " Shinji shouted as he gave both Misato and Asuka a withering glare that took the wind out of there sails.

" First Kaji then this, this is bullshit!, Shinji you are not going and that's all there is to it! " Misato shouted as her face turn an interesting shade of purple as the veins in her forehead stood out and pulsed to the beat of her heart.

" Fuck you, your not my mother! " Shinji said as he flipped them the bird and watched as Misato wilted for Shinji's word had cut deeply into her troubled heart for she had considered both Shinji and Asuka to be like her own children, " Kaji? " Ritsuko wondered as she realized that there might be a slight complication to her and Maya's plans to get Shinji's cherry if he was batting for the other team, or he was a switch hitter at the very lest, then Ritsuko bushed at that line of thinking from her mind as Shinji stomped off to his room and began to pack some clothing for the trip.

 

Misato and Asuka watched as a very pissed off Shinji came back into the living room with a duffle bag over his shoulders and try as she might Misato realized that Shinji was becoming out of control and she had no damn idea as what to do in this situation as Asuka began to rant and rave at her to stop Shinji from leaving.

 

" Christ this is fucked up! " Misato thought to herself as she went into the kitchen to get herself another beer as she realized that if she let Shinji go with Ritsuko and Maya she would have to put up with Asuka's ranting at how it was unfair that Shinji got to get out of school and his chores for a week, if she made Shinji stay she knew that she would have to put up with Shinji giving her grief for trying to run his life and she realized that Shinji was at his rebellious stage in his life as she also realized that if she made Shinji stay that both he and Asuka would end up in a huge fight that could turn bloody because ever since Shinji had tried to kill Asuka their tempers had been on a hair trigger and they could explode into a full blown brawl and she did not need that kind of stress in her life.

 

For a moment there was a silence as Misato returned to the dinning table with her beer in hand as all eyes where focused on her, waiting for her to make a move in order to deal with this situation, both Ritsuko and Maya knew that it would be a wise idea to remain quiet and let them deal with this impasse by themselves.

 

Shinji could see the looks of anger and confusion on Misato's eyes and he felt bad but he knew that he had to get away from her and Asuka before he had a nervous brake down or he flipped his lid and did something stupid, " Come let's go. " Shinji said and walked past Ritsuko and Maya with a forlorn look on his face that made Misato winch as she came to realized that Shinji need the brake from Asuka and her but still she should say something but she did not know what the hell to say and sat there as the three of them left her apartment.

 

Misato looked at Asuka who looked like she was going to have fit and decided that she had some paper work to do in her room and left the table as Asuka blew a gasket and began to swear up a string of curses so vile that it would make a seasoned sailor blush, Once Misato was in her room she sat down as began to cry as she felt like her life was coming apart at the seams and she could see no way out of the living hell her life was fast becoming.

 

Shinji sat in the back of Ritsuko's car while Maya sat in the front passenger's seat as Ritsuko was driving them to the airport and she looked in the rear view mirror and saw Shinji sitting there bored out of his mind with a slightly troubled look on his face, " Hey don't be so glum chum, you're going to have a blast. " Ritsuko said, " How is inspecting a base going to be a blast? " Shinji asked.

 

Ritsuko looked over her shoulder for a second and spoke to him, " Trust me you're going to have fun. " she said with a sly smile and Maya just smiled to herself and decided that she would flirt with Shinji because Ritsuko said he looked so damn cute when he was embarrassed Ritsuko looked back to the road, Maya looked over at Shinji and gave him a warm smile even though she still had some reservation about her and Ritsuko's assignment to take Shinji's virginity from him, " So Shinji don't you think this is cool or what, you alone with two sexy ladies for a whole week. " she said with a sly grin that made Shinji some what uncomfortable as he looked down at the floor of the car for he had been scoping out Maya's ass a few times when they weren't look at him as he felt his face grow warm.

" Um sure Miss Ibuki. " was Shinji's reply and Maya just about bursted out laughing as she saw Shinji's face turn a beat red with a slightly uptight voice, " Well at lest that's something brag about to your friends at school. " Maya added with a slight snicker for she now agreed with Ritsuko that Shinji did look so dog gone cute when flustered.

" Relax Shinji there's no need to be so formal. " Maya said as she looked up at her and she flashed him a charming smile, Ritsuko could not resist and threw out her own off handed comment as she picked up on Maya's flirting with Shinji, " Don't think that this is all going to be fun and games you two, this inspections are a very serious matter. " she said with a mock sternness that Shinji took literally where as Maya knew that Ritsuko was starting to warm up with her flirting and Maya turned back to face the road to hide her smiling face so that Shinji would not get to suspicious as to what was really going on with the inspection.

 

Shinji having a hard time relaxing and decided that he was going to smoke a joint the first chance he got as they pulled into the airport, once Ritsuko parked the car they got out of it and Ritsuko popped the trunk and handed Shinji his duffle bag then handed Maya her's and grabbed her own that made an ominous clinking sound that Shinji missed out on, " Ritsuko is there a washroom around here I have to go very badly. " Shinji said with an innocent look on his face, " It's over there. " Ritsuko said and Shinji turned and walked towards the washroom with a slight smile on his face.

 

Once Shinji was in the washroom he pulled out his bag of weed and quickly rolled up a fairly decent looking joint and lit it up and began to toke like a madman for he knew that he was pressed for time.

Maya and Ritsuko watched as Shinji came back out of the airport washroom five minutes later and they saw that he had a somewhat relaxed look on his face that mystified them for a few minutes.

 

" Felling better? " Maya asked not know that Shinji was riding high on a hell of a buzz, " Ya I'm ok now but I'm never eating another burrito from the school cafeteria ever gain. " Shinji said with a panted pained look on his face that Made Ritsuko and Maya wince as they recalled there own unpleasant experience with the burritos that the Nerv cafeteria had once served that lead to the unfortunate death of the cafeteria worker to had came up with the idea for burritos on that day, followed by an order from the commander himself that stated that under no circumstance that burritos where to ever grace the Nerv cafeteria ever again and they looked at Shinji with a look of pity in there eyes.

 

Without another word spoken between them the three of them made there way to the waiting VTOL jet.

 

As they where flying towards their destination Ritsuko and Maya noticed the relaxed look on Shinji's face as he looked out the window of the VTOL jet and they where sure that while Shinji was in such a relaxed state of mind that he would be more receptive to there advances, after and hour or so the VTOL jet landed at Youni airport and the three of them got off the plane, " Dr. Akagi, Lieutenant Ibuki? " a man called out to them as he walked over to them.

" Yes, who are you and what do you want? " Ritsuko asked the man who was dressed in a Nerv uniform,

" I'm Lieutenant Yoshi Numura, Technical division of the Mataschiro branch of Nerv, I have a car waiting for you and who is this young man? " Yoshi said and watched as Ritsuko gave him a smile, " This young man is Shinji Ikari, the Third Child. " she said and Shinji watched as the Lieutenant turned to face him and then bow towards him, " It is an honor it met you Mister.Ikari " Yoshi said with a respectful tone of voice that took Shinji by surprise.

 

" Um like wise Lieutenant. " Shinji said as he bowed back towards the Lieutenant, once the introductions where done Yoshi lead Shinji and the others to a waiting limo and took their bags from them and placed them in the trunk of the limo as Ritsuko, Shinji and Maya piled into the spacious limo.

" I bet you have never ridden in one of these before have you Shinji? " Ritsuko said as she saw the look of wonderment on Shinji's face, " Um no I haven't. " Shinji said as he began to relax into the leather seat of the limo while Ritsuko sat on his right side and Maya siting on his left side and Shinji felt slightly aroused at being between the two lovely ladies as the Lieutenant got into the front passenger's seat of the limo.

 

" Well Shinji I suggest you enjoy it while you can, you might never get another chance to do so. " Maya said with a shy smile that made Shinji all the more aroused for he knew that Maya was not really much of a people person for the most part and he could see a warmth in her eyes that stroked the growing fire in his loins as they left the airport.

 

Ritsuko and Maya would occasionally steal looks at Shinji and they both could see that Shinji had a slightly lustful look in his big blue eyes and both women knew that this assignment was going to be as much fun for them as it was going to be for Shinji as the limo continued towards the Mataschiro branch, Maya and Ritsuko decide to play with Shinji's lust as she both slowly moved towards him so that they where close to him without crowding him.

Colonel Ito Fuji finished looking over a power consumption report for the base when he saw Yoshi enterer the command center with two women and a young boy and he realized that the two women must be Dr.Akgai and Lieutenant Ibuki but he did not know who the young by was but he was not happy to see him for the base was not a place for children.

" Dr.Akgai, Lieutenant Ibuki welcome to Mataschiro, A question though why have you brought a child to our base for? " Ito said with a crisp and to the point tone of voice that put Maya, Ritsuko and Shinji's teeth on edge, " The boy in question is the Third Child and I thought it would be prudent for him to familiarize himself with this base in case that he and the other children might have to sortie from this base in case of an angel attack and who might you be? " Ritsuko said as she found herself take a small disliking to the man who was speaking to her.

" I am Colonel Ito Fuji the commander of this base, if what you say is true where are the other Children? " Ito said and both Maya and Shinji realized that from the colonel's somewhat smug and demeaning tone of voice that he was a first rate asshole.

 

Ritsuko raised her left eyebrow in a some what smoldering anger towards the Colonel as she realized that the Colonel was going to be an asshole and she vowed to file a very unflattering report about him to the commander when she filed her inspection report back to the commander.

" The other Children are undergoing some extra training and could not make the flight to this base. " Ritsuko said with a grim and some what acidic tone of voice that did not go unnoticed by Ito who gave her a dark look, " In that case shall we being the inspection? " Ito said with a chilly tone of voice.

" Yes let's do so. " Ritsuko said with an unfriendly but somewhat polite tone of voice, as she looked back at Shinji and Maya and she could see the looks on there face that said * This guy is an asshole! * as the inspection tour got underway.

 

After six hours of inspecting the base Ritsuko, Maya and Shinji found that everything was in tip top shape with no problems of any kind but everywhere they went they had come across the rest of the base personal and they could see the fearful looks in there eyes as the four of them made their way through the base.

Ritsuko could tell from the fearful looks in the eyes of the base personal that they where deathly afraid of the colonel but what really pissed her off was not only the polite but cold tone of voice he used when he answer her or Maya's questions but it was the way he ignored Shinji when he asked a few questions of his own and that was when Ritsuko decided that she would put in her report to the commander a recommendation that the colonel should be sacked.

 

" I'm glad that's over with. " Maya said as the three of them made there way to the base motor pool after they had parted company with the colonel, Ritsuko looked over at Shinji and she could see that he had a slightly pissed off look in his eyes due to the shitty treatment he had gotten from the colonel, " That guy is an asshole! " Shinji snarled as the three of them got there things from the trunk of the limo that had brought them to the base.

" Don't worry Shinji the good colonel will be made to suffer for the way he treated us. " Ritsuko said as they put there things into the trunk of a car that the colonel had loaned them for their use while they where in Mataschiro.

 

Once they left the base Ritsuko looked back in the rear view mirror and saw that Shinji was looking a little tense and decided that a nice meal was in order, " Hey Shinji are you hungry? " Ritsuko called over her shoulder as she might a right turn, " Ya now that you mention it I am kind of hungry. " Shinji said as he looked out the window of the car taking in the sights of Mataschiro, " Ok Shinji I know of a real nice place to grab a bite to eat. " Ritsuko said with a sly look on her face that Shinji missed but not Maya she had been planing a few ways flirt with Shinji but she was not all that skilled in the flirting department despite her first few attempts at flirting with Shinji so when she saw that sly look on Ritsuko's face she decided she would take a few hints from her.

A few minutes later they came to a stop in the parking lot of a restaurant, " So what is this place? " Shinji asked, Ritsuko looked at Shinji and Maya and gave them a smile, " It's a little place I came once or twice when I was living in Mataschiro, you won't find any better ribs then here. " she said as the three of them walked into the restaurant and waited at the front desk.

" Good day and welcome to Li-Fan's. " a waitress said and told them to follow her, Shinji looked around the restaurant and saw that it was a classy looking joint and he felt kind of out of place as he saw the other patrons that where dressed in expensive clothes as they where lead to a table.

Once they where seated the waitress asked if they wanted anything to drink as she set a menu in front of each of them.

 

" I'll have a coke. " Shinji said to the waitress who wrote down his drink order, " And what will you have Miss? " the waitress said to Ritsuko who looked at the wine list, " I'll have a thrity-two ounce bottle of the house red wine. " Ritsuko said to the waitress who wrote down her order then turned to face Maya, " I'll have a thrity-two ounce bottle of the house red wine as well. " Maya said to the waitress who wrote down her drink order and then left them to get their drinks.

" Maya Shinji you have got to try there ribs, trust me you'll like them. " Ritsuko said with an easy going smile, " Ok I'll try them. " Shinji said as he tried his best to relax in such a high class place, Maya looked at Ritsuko and saw a naughty look in her eyes and decided to there was a reason for her trying to convince them to try the ribs besides their good taste, " Ok Sempi I'll try them. " she said to Ritsuko as the waitress came with their drinks, once the drinks where handed out the waitress asked them if they where ready to order.

" I'll have the sweet and sour rib dinner. " Ritsuko said as she took a sip of her wine, " I'll have the bbq rib dinner. " Maya said to the waitress as she too took a sip of her wine, " Would you like them mild or spicy?" the waitress asked Maya who told her that she would like them mild and then the waitress looked at Shinji.

 

" I'd like the honey garlic rib dinner. " Shinji said and took a drink of his coke, " Ok then, enjoy your drinks and we'll try to have your dinner to you as soon as we can. " the waitress said and left their table.

" This sure is a fancy place Sempi. " Maya said as she looked around as she took another drink of her wine

Ritsuko smiled at Maya as she took another drink of her wine, " I thought the two of you would like a nice dinner and it had been awhile since I had been here, Maya you don't need to be so formal. " Ritsuko said to Maya who nodded her head, " Ok Sem..Ritsuko. " Maya said as she began to relax.

 

Five minutes later the waitress returned with their dinners and after she placed them front from Ritsuko and the others the waitress bid them to enjoy there meals and left them, Maya watched as Ritsuko picked up a rib and brought to her mouth with a naughty look face, " Mmm I have forgotten how good their ribs are. " Ritsuko said to Shinji as she licked the rib in a highly suggestive way before she ate the meat off it and Maya caught on to the game that Ritsuko was playing as she saw a slightly disturbed look on Shinji's face.

" Have to agree with you that these ribs are really good. " Maya said as she ate the meat off of the rib and when Shinji was looking at her she slowly sucked the rib bone into her mouth and slowly pulled it out and then sucked it back into her mouth in a mimicry of oral sex.

 

Shinji felt himself become aroused as he watched Ritsuko gave him a saucy wink as she took one of her ribs and sucked it into her mouth and used her teeth to strip the meat off the rib bone and pulled it out of her mouth with a low, wet popping sound as she caved her cheeks in with a naughty look in her eyes and Shinji quickly looked away from her as he began to eat his ribs as fast as he could as the two women ate their ribs in a slow and seductive manor that had Shinji as hard as a rock as images of the most sordid type flash through his mind.

 

Finally Shinji could stand it no more and quickly stood up as Maya and Ritsuko gave him hungry looks,

" Excuse me! " Shinji said and left their table, both Ritsuko and Maya noticed with glee the slightly shaky tone of Shinji's voice as well as the flustered look on his red face as well as the painful looking hard on in his dress paints as he went looking for the washroom.

Ritsuko and Maya exchanged knowing looks as Shinji made his way across the restaurant floor, " You brat!" Ritsuko said to Maya who was giggling to herself, " Brat!, you're the one who started it! " Maya said as she stuck her tongue out at Ritsuko and the two women knew that they had Shinji by the balls figuratively of not literally after they finished their dinner.

 

Shinji found himself an empty stall in the men's room and sat down on the toilet as his overheated mind was showing visions of all sorts of carnal delights, " Christ almighty are those two trying to give me a heart attack or what! " Shinji muttered to himself as his aching dick begged to be freed of the tight confines of his dress pants and stroked.

Shinji pulled out the bag of weed and quickly rolled himself up a joint and then lit it not giving a flying fuck at a rolling doughnut that he was in a public place or that there was a hefty fine for smoking in a public place.

 

" Damn it why do they have to be so cruel for! " Shinji whined to himself as he toked like a fiend on his joint, filling the restroom with a cloud of pot smoke as Shinji did his level best to try and relax not knowing that there was some one else in the men's room as he continued to boge away on the joint, after five minutes or so Shinji finished off the joint and flushed the roach down the john as he felt himself starting to relax a bit.

After a few minutes Shinji felt himself calm enough to rejoin Ritsuko and Maya at the table without getting all worked and stepped out of the men's room and suddenly came face to face with a very unhappy looking man.

 

" Leave before I call the police you drug addict! " the man said to Shinji who turned a ghastly shade of white as he realized that this guy knew that he had smoked a joint in the men's room, " I-I-I-I " Shinji babbled and when the man saw that the kid was just standing there and babbling like an idiot he grabbed Shinji by the right arm and began to drag him towards the entrance of the restaurant and causing quite a scene.

 

Ritsuko and Maya got to their feet as they saw Shinji being manhandled by some guy in a suit.

" What the hell are you doing!, let go of him right now! " Ritsuko shouted as she and Maya closed the distance between the man and Shinji and the man looked at her with a very pissed off look on his face as the other patrons of Li-Fan's looked over towards them to see what the ruckus was about.
