Chapter V: Revealed

The 3 Death Gliders flew on toward their destination. Bakuub was the first to speak. =Horus has an ego the size of his vessel. =

=Although that is true, his controls our life. If we betray him, what happened to the First Prime of Apophis will happen to us. = Lar'nix'va's hawk head looked over at Bakuub. =I know of the union between you and Nefertiri. = He turned back to the view in front of him. =But I won't say anything to endanger you both. =

It was a while before anything was said, and when it was, Bakuub spoke.

Hikari Horaki looked over the remainder of the class. Not that many people. And Ayanami, Ikari, Suzuhara, Sohryuu were still missing.

Kensuke was perched over his laptop, but lifted his head when he heard a loud whine. He was correct in his assumption that the entire class had headed over to the window to see.

The class watched as 3 jet-like objects sped past the window, arced outwards, and towards the window. They hovered in front of the window, and up stood a figure with a hawk head. The figure raised it's right arm and revealed the hand device from earlier. The gem in the center glowed, and the window shattered. The 3 figures jumped into the classroom, sending everyone to the wall screaming.

One of the figures pointed to Hikari. "Se'biu!" =Come with us! =

Hikari trembled as said figure approached her. "W-what do you want?"

The figure said nothing, but deactivated its helmet. The helmet retracted, revealing Toji Suzuhara. Hikari trembled immensely, then fainted. Toji caught her, and grinned at everyone there. Then Kensuke was felled by a blow from one of the other things. The 3 walked out, their bounties in tow. Seconds later, the 3 Death Gliders took to the skies.

An alarm rang throughout the command center of NERV. The techies scrambled around like flies around a light.

"Blue Pattern spotted and confirmed!"

`This is just great,' thought Ritsuko. `We have no pilots, and the angels decide to attack. What more can go wrong?'

Outside, the ring of light known as the 16th angel, Armisael, stood stationary at its spot, waiting for the mockeries of the great father and mother to come out and face it. What it did not expect, came.

The 3 Death Gliders came back from their assignment. Simultaneously, the 2 staff weapons on their wing opened, and they began to open fire upon the angel.

Everyone in NERV watched as the 3 Death Gliders viciously attacked the angel.

"My god, they're relentless."

The angel let out a cry as it fell to the ground. It stopped glowing, and the 3 Death Gliders continued past to the Ha'tak vessel.

The Death Gliders reentered the Ha'tak vessel, and the 3 exited them. Bakuub strode through, carrying Kensuke, while Lar'nix'va carried Hikari.

The two teenagers came to, to find that they were surrounded by hawk-headed guards. One of the guards came forward, wielding a staff.

"Hi'ato."

Surrounded by 3 of the guards, they obeyed. Walking on, they were led to a room. The doors opened, and the two teenagers found themselves in a room with liquid on 3 sides. And it looked there was something in the liquid.

The guards shoved them off the pathway, and Kensuke and Hikari, fell headlong into the liquid. They were right. There was something in the water in the water.

Staring at them were a seemingly endless pool of serpents. The snake-like creatures circled them like sharks, when two of them swam rapidly toward them. They opened their mouth to scream, and the snakes swam into their mouths

The guards deactivated their helmets as the two teenagers climbed out of the pool. They stood before them and bowed. They spoke as one: "Kel Sha." =It will be so. =

Bakuub nodded. "Lek."

They turned around to find 5 guards weapons trained on them. =We know. =, one said. =You are traitors. =

Shinji, Rei, and Toji were brought to Horus' throne room, where he sat with Amunet (Misato). Horus' hawk fins bristled. =You must think I am stupid to think that I am unaware of everything. = His fins lowered. =But I can easily remedy that. = He pointed at them. "Sha'lokma'kor." =Kill them. =
