Author's notes:So,last chapter was the prologue.Now this chapter begins the story.Again,I own nothing except for my oc.Enjoy.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Chapter 1:Attack of the Angel and the fourth child arrives.--------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------It is the year 2010. A blonde hair boy with a red and blue spring jacket on,with a plain white shirt underneath and black pants on,listening to a recorded message on a telephone he found while walking downtown. "I'm sorry.But due to the state of a special emergency,all lines are out of order and can not be used."The voice had said. Sighing,the boy hangs the phone up and looks around the area he's in."Geez.I'm suppose to meet someone named Misato Katsuragi but I dont see her anywhere in the area I'm in.*Sigh*. Wish I knew what she looked like.Oh,well.Cant be helped.I should probably head..."but he is cut off by the sound of birds flying off. Looking in the direction the birds flew,he notices a blue haired girl standing in the street."What?Why is there a..."but he again get's cut off by large stomping noises coming from behind him. Turning around,he see's aircrafts coming out from behind a mountain which a giant monster is close behind. "What the hell is that?"The boy exclaims. Suddenly,rockets come flying past him,turning around a corner of a building and hitting the monster head on.After the smoke clear's,the monster is still standing,seemingly uneffected by the missles and attacks an aircraft with a spear of some sort from it's arm. After attacking,the monster suddenly whips up a whilrwind of sorts and makes a short leap from it's location.But before it did,the boy see's a halo appear above it for a split second."Was that..."again,he is cut off by the monster landing near him.Stepping on an aircraft it had attacked before. As it exploded,a vehicle pulls up sheilding him from the blast.The door opens up,revealing a women with long purple hair in a black dress with sunglasses looking at him. "Hey there.Sorry I'm late.Get in".She says. Nodding,the boy grabs his stuff from the ground and runs around to the other side of the car,opening the door and getting in and then closing the door.As soon as this was done,the women puts the car in reverse and backs up.Avoiding the monster's foot. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------At Nerv HQ.
"The target is still moving towards Tokyo 3."A male voice says. "We cant stop it with the Airforce."A female voice chimes in. We see three UN commander's sitting at a desk,looking at a giant monitor.Watching the monster thrash everything that is thrown at it. "Damn.This thing is tough to beat."The left commander says. "Yes.So that means we need to throw everything we have at it."The middle commander says. "Mobilize all divisions at Atsugi and Iruma bases to battle!We must eliminate this thing."The right commander says while irritated. On the monitor,we see various weapon machines placed at different locations shooting missles and bullets at the creature.Unforutantly,they too dont effect it. "Damn.Even those didnt effect it."The left commander says. "Of course not.It was foolish to think they would make a difference."The middle commander spat. Now at the back of the room,we see Commander Gendo Ikari at a desk in the same pose with Sub-Commander Fuyutsuki beside him. "It's an AT field hmm?"The old man questions. "Yes.That makes conventional weapons completely useless against an angel."Gendo says. Suddenly,a phone starts ringing and one of the three commander's answer's it."I see.Very well sir.We'll go with your plan." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Back with the boy.The blue car had stopped to the side of the road for a moment so the women could see what was going on.And it didnt look good apperantly. *looking through binoculars*"What are they doing?Why are the aircrafts moving away?*she keeps looking*No way.They're gonna use an N2 mine?Shit.Get down,now!"The women exclaims before pushing the boy down and covering it with her own. A few seconds later,an explosion occurs.Shaking the ground as the shockwave heads for the blue car and knocks it over and over,rolling it far away from where it previously was. After it dies down,the two occupants exit the car from the drivers side and attempt to push it back on it's tires.After two tries,they succeed and have pushed the car back to where it was.Turning to the boy,the women takes off her sunglass so she can get a better look at him and to introduce herself. "Thanks for the help.Your Jamizka,right?" "Yes I am.And you must be Misato Katsuragi,right?" Misato smiles at him as she answers."Yes.But please.Just Misato will do." "Allright.I was wondering what you would look like though since I didnt have anything to reconize you with.Or have a way to know what you look like I should say.Glad I found out."Jamizka says. "Yeah.I guess your right." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Back with Nerv. "Hmph.Looks like we did it.Sorry gentlemen,but it seems you arent needed here"One of the commanders says smugly while looking at the two men in the back.Unfortuantly,it doesnt look like they did succeed because. "The camera's are now back online and functional again"a male voice announces. "It looks like the target was...No.We're getting an energy reading from the center of the blast!"A female voice says panicking. As the dust clears away on the screen,everyone see's something moving.Something breathing.And this does not go unnoticed by the three UN commanders,who are in shock at what they see. "What the hell?"The left commander shouts. "It's still alive?!"The middle one says,unbelieving what he is seeing. On the screen,the dust has completely disappeared and can now see the Angel just standing there.Barely injured.As it stands there,another face suddenly emerges from it's body. "No...No damn way.We used our last resort against it and it survived?"The right UN commander says,shocked. "Hmm.It looks like it's healing itself."Fuyutsuki notes from the back. "Indeed.Without that ability,it wouldnt be able to survive."Gendo says while in the same position. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Back with Misato and Jamizka."So,your the fourth child huh."Misato asks while driving her car. Jamizka is looking out the passenger window and answers."Yes.Weren't you aware of that?" "Well,to be honest.Not really as I was expecting the third child.I didnt think the fourth would be found so soon." At this,Jamizka turns his head away from the window and looks at Misato."No one told you that the fourth was found?" Even though Misato had to keep her eyes on the road,she nodded."I see.No one told her about me.She was only told that the third was arriving.Guess they didnt have time to tell her.But still.If she didnt know,how the hell did she find me?"Something isnt right about this.And I dont think I can ask right now."Jamizka thought.
"Anyway,to change the subject.Where exactly did you get the batteries from?"He asks.Hoping to find that out as well. Misato suddenly takes her eyes off the road and looks at him as if he was questioning her which was the case."Those?Dont worry about those."She says trying to keep him from asking again.Unforutantly,he isnt gonna stop until he knows. "Why cant I worry about those?Jamizka turns his head around the seat to look at the batteries that Misato has apperantly stolen shortly before getting on the road again.I'm pretty sure that's called theft.And theft isnt a good thing."He tells her as he returns to his original place. "It isnt...theft exactly.Misato says nervously.I am an offical after all and I did need batteries so it isnt considered theft since I urgently needed them.Ok?Ok." Jamizka again looks at her,as if he was gonna fall for it."Really now?I dont think anyone is gonna fall for that Miss Katsuragi." "Hmm?Misato says questionally while again,taking her eyes off the road to look at him.You know?For an american,you ask a lot of questions.Especially ones I told you dont need to worry about."As soon as she said that,she knew it was a mistake. "Anyway,what Eva unit are you assigned?"Misato asks,bringing him out of his thoughts. "Evangelion unit 04.Why?" "No reason.Was just curious."She says as she laughs. "I see.She isnt very mature is she?Well,perhaps I should voice that."Jamizka thinks. "You dont seem to be very mature Miss Katsuragi."As soon as he said that,he regretted it almost right away.Because Misato once again,took her eyes off and glared at him a moment before returning her eyes back to the road. Too bad he failed to see the grin on her face as she suddenly turned the steering wheel sharply to the left.Scaring the hell out of him.She did it the whole way.Alternating between left and right.Needless to say,Jamizka learned his lesson.Never say Misato is immature.Especially while she's driving.Otherwise,your gonna die. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Back with Nerv. Gendo Ikari is now standing in front of the three UN commander's who failed to defeat the angel. "Your in charge of this operation now Ikari."The middle commander says. "Yes.The weapons we used werent effective against the angel."The right commander solemnly says. "It is now up to you."The left commander reminds Gendo. "Dont worry gentlemen.Gendo says while adjusting his glasses with his finger.That is why Nerv exists." "I pray your right."The middle commander says as he and the other two commanders begin lowering under the floor in the desk they are in. Gendo then turns his head around to look at Fuyutsuki."We're gonna activate Unit 01." "Activate it?"Fuyutsuki says.Not believing what he just heard. "Correct.The fourth child is on his way here.And Evangelion unit 04 isnt arriving until the end of the week.Gendo says.We have no other option since the third refused to come." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Back with Misato.After Misato's crazy driving,they finally make it to where a car train was prepared for them to take them to Nerv. "So,Misato.Jamizka starts.Hoping he wont upset her again.How did you get this car train ready?" After checking herself in her compact mirrior and putting it in her purse,she answers."I made a call before picking you up." "I see.Wait.How did you know what I looked like?All you found out was I was arriving today.How did you know what I looked like?Jamizka asks as the train begins moving. Sighing,she puts her hands behind her head and answers."Honestly,I guessed.Jamizka faceplants at hearing this.We dont have any information on you yet so I had no way to know." After recovering from that,he looks out the passenger window again."You guessed huh?It was a pretty lucky one.I mean,the odds of finding the fourth child like you did,has to be at least below 30%.Maybe lower.Not to mention any kid could of said they were the fourth child.Really now.I dont think guessing was a good idea.Really should of did some research.But that doesnt matter now." Minutes pass and the train emerges out of the tunnel into an underground area with buildings hanging upside down and what seems to be a sunset in the distance. Shocked,Jamizka puts his face up against the window."Wow.What kind of place is this?" Smiling,Misato tells him."This is the Geofront.An underground fortress and is where Nerv HQ is located.This place is the key to rebuilding our world." --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Now inside Nerv HQ,Misato tries bringing Jamizka to where the Eva is held but fails miserably.And ends up getting them lost.Now on a moving walkway. "What the hell?Isnt this the right way?Misato complains while looking at the map.I'm sorry.I'm still new to this place." Jamizka wants to comment about that but Misato beats him to it."Say anything about how we're lost and your gonna get it."Shrugging,he just keeps looking foward. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------- Meanwhile,a blonde women is now coming up out of a red liquid in a diving suit when an announcement is made that made her grimace. "Will the Cheif of Project E,Dr.Ritsuko Akagi,of section 1 of the technical Department.Please contact Misato Katsuragi of the Operation's department immediately.The announcement says. Taking her scuba mask off,Ristuko sighs.Realizing her friend has once again,gotten herself lost. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------- After mindlessly wondering around the base,Misato and Jamizka finally find an elevator and take it up where it then stops at a floor.The doors open and. "!Um,hi there Ritsuko."Misato says nervously. As Ritsuko steps inside the elevator,the doors close behind her and Misato takes a step back while Jamizka watches. "Misato.How many times have you've gotten lost now?3 was it?She says. "Sorry." Ritsuko sighs and turns towards Jamizka."Is this the fourth child?She asks. "Yes.Or at least that is what he says."Misato tells her. "Well,of course he is.Misato.If you didnt rush out like you did,we could of gave you a picture on what he looked like instead of saying something you arent too sure about."She scolds her.Misato can only rub the back of her neck sheepishly. Sighing again,she turns towards Jamizka and introduces herself."Hello.I am Ritsuko Akagi.Chief of section one of the technical Department.Nice to meet you." "Hmm?Oh,sure."He says plainly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Now in a Dark room after exiting the elevator and taking a motorized raft across what is thought to be water,Ritsuko announces something as she has the light turned on. "Jamizka.This is the symthetic humanoid Life form known as Evangelion unit 01."She tells him as she points to the Eva's face."And you will be piloting it." At this,both Misato and Jamizka are shocked. "What?What do you mean he's gonna pilot it."Misato asks. "I can answer that,Captain."A new voice says.Everyone looks up to see a man with a beard,wearing glasses with white gloves on his hands standing up in a little alcove. "Who are you?"Jamizka asks the man.Gendo only smirks at him. "I am Commander Gendo Ikari.And you,fourth child.Are the pilot of Evangelion unit 01."He says bluntly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------End.Author's notes:Well,how was that?Was it good?Bad?What?Sorry if this was cut short.I'm not sure if I should continue or just put the rest of this in the next chapter.Anyway,here's a preview of what to expect.
Preview of Chapter 2:After arriving in Tokyo 3.The fourth child has been told that he is the pilot of Evagelion unit 01.And he sorties against the third angel.Unfortuantly,his combat skills arent that great and he get's beaten.But luckily,Eva 01 goes berserk and defeats the angel.Deciding that he shouldnt live alone,Misato has him live with her instead.What kind of challenges await him?What other angels await him?Find out next time in Chapter 2:Berserker.

"Hmm?Oh,sure."He says plainly. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------Now in a Dark room after exiting the elevator and taking a motorized raft across what is thought to be water,Ritsuko announces something as she has the light turned on. "Jamizka.This is the symthetic humanoid Life form known as Evangelion unit 01."She tells him as she points to the Eva's face."And you will be piloting it." At this,both Misato and Jamizka are shocked. "What?What do you mean he's gonna pilot it."Misato asks. "I can answer that,Captain."A new voice says.Everyone looks up to see a man with a beard,wearing glasses with white gloves on his hands standing up in a little alcove. "Who are you?"Jamizka asks the man.Gendo only smirks at him.
