Commander's Personal Log, June 1st, 2017.
Well, it's been over two years since SEELE's failed attempt at Instrumentality. Not much has changed, except for a few things. Asuka sunk into another coma after Shinji rescued her from the MP Evas. After we repelled the JSSDF, and got a pardon from the Japanese government, Commander Ikari was prosecuted. Sub-commander Fyutsuki retired after promoting me to Commander. On a lighter note, Shinji's birthday is in a few days, and I've got the perfect present for him. Hope he likes it. Well, that's it for now. Misato Katsuragi, signing off.
