Summary: Riho isn't as innocent as everyone thought, and she is starting to get over her infatuation with Shido. Her powers are growing a lot faster that a normal vampire's powers would. Cain, other vampires, and even humans have taken a fascination with her. What will the group do when Shido gets jealous?

Rated: PG-13 to be safe.

A/N: This is my first Nightwalker fanfiction. I've found that there aren't many around, so I've written one myself.

Chapter 1

Shido had just gotten back from a case that involved another vampire. The vampire, Seth, had escaped after wounding our fearless vampire/vampire hunter. After Cain's appearance in Tokyo, vampires were flocking the city like bees to honey, killer bees. Shido just wanted to sit down with Riho, heal, and maybe have a bite to eat. After all, Yayoi couldn't blame him for getting hurt. Could she?

Shido flung the door open, and stumbled into his detective agency. Riho's face paled as she rushed to his side and helped him onto the couch. Ever since he had sired her, she had become ever more attentive to his needs. Lately, Shido was finding his slight attraction for his childe blossoming into something more. He couldn't `live' without her anymore. Sadly, Shido, being Shido, never showed his emotions to anyone. For this reason, Riho had no clue Shido was interested in her that way. Mistake Number One.

"Mr. Shido, what happened? Are you alright?" Riho quickly questioned. Shido fought a smile and just nodded his head. Guni flew off out of his hair and perched on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Riho. He just got his ass kicked by some hot vampire hunk named Seth. I'm sure his ego is hurt more then anything else. You know how arrogant vampires can be," Guni stated as she put her arms behind her head and floated around the pair.

"Well, as long as Mr. Shido is alright. Oh, I almost forgot!" Riho got an abashed look on her face and didn't clarify.

"Yes Riho?" Shido questioned lightly. Shido found her adorable when she was embarrassed. Well, if he was honest to himself, he found her adorable all of the time.

"Well, before it would have been alright, but since your hurt, it would be selfish," Riho stated, without explaining what `it' was.

Shido just got a confused look on his face and shook his head. Suddenly, Riho stood up and went into the other room to get coffee. She brought back a steaming mug and put it on the coffee table.

"Well, since you probably won't mind. Mr. Shido, I was wondering if I could go to a nightclub in town? Please?" Riho looked at Mr. Shido with puppy dog eyes and he just couldn't help but give in.

"Alright," he replied.

~One Hour Later~

Riho walked into the main room where Shido was waiting. She took his non-existent breath away. Riho wore her auburn hair down and wild. (A/N: Like in the episode where Cain gives Shido that weird dream of Riho betraying and leaving him.)

She was wearing a tight red shimmering tube top that showed her navel. Shido couldn't help but notice that she had her belly button pierced, and she was wearing a belly-chain. They were both made of fine gold. Riho was also wearing a short, black miniskirt. Peaking out from under the ridiculously short skirt was a red heart tattoo with a tear down the middle. Shido's eyes drifted down her toned thighs and calves to see two red stilettos.

Riho's glossy red lips turned into a sultry smile when she saw her `Mr. Shido' checking her out. He had failed to even notice her face. Riho was wearing two dangling earrings that made her slim face look even skinnier. Her eye shadow was a light blue, giving the `smoky' effect. Riho had black eyeliner. Because she was a vampire, she added some blush to give her pale face some color. Riho also wore blood red lipstick that made her lips look even lusher. Tonight, she was gonna knock `em dead. Literally.
