One Piece Fan Fiction ❯ A Weird Pack ❯ Chapter 9
Luffy and the others were collecting things from the men's room to build the best nest.
“Sanji-kun, shall we take this picture too?”
Sanji looked at the childhood photo of himself with the shitty geezer and the two idiots. Oh, Baratie… It was really his hometown.
“Yes, please Nami-san.”
"Ok. Chopper, you want a picture of your Doctorin too, right?"
"Yes, Nami."
"Good. Then I go to the room and start building the best nest. You guys gather the rest and come quickly.”
"Okay, Nami."
“Understood, Nami-san.”
Luffy and Chopper were putting together blankets and pillows. At that moment, Sanji noticed that Zoro was staring at his swords.
“Hey, stupid marimo! You can bring your swords if you want.”
“As far as possible, there should be no reminders of danger on the Nest.”
“Wow, could you think that much?”
“Shut up, curly brows.”
"Anyway. But really. We know the value you place on your swords. Aren't they just like our photos?"
“I bought Sandai Kitetsu and Yubashiri in Loguetown. Moreover, it is said that Sandai Kitetsu is cursed. Such a thing has no place near the nest. No need for Yubashiri either, but Wado Ichimonji is from my hometown. So if you all don't mind, I want her with me."
“As I just said, she is just like our photos. Come on, put the others in a safe place and come with her. Chopper and Luffy- They're already gone. Come on, we have to help too, right?"
“Go ahead. I'm coming right now."
Sanji then left the room. Normally, Zoro would leave his swords on the couch while he was sleeping, but this time he wouldn't be able to see them for two days. So he decided to put them in the closet. Then he left the room to help build the nest.
***
“Nami, you should put the blanket a little more like this and the pillows should be more like that. Chopper, it shouldn't be like that but more like this. Sanji, let's hang the photos on the ceiling. Should we put Zoro's sword by the door too?"
"Isn't it weird that Luffy orders like that, Chopper?"
“Really, but I think the photos should be on the ceiling too. So we can see them from where we sleep.”
“Luffy, where should I put this?”
“Just like this. Zoro and move the bookshelf a little.”
"Is that so?"
“No no, a little further to the left.”
"Like this?"
“That's right, Zoro! To the other side! Don't you want to build the best nest?"
"Ha! Of course, I want. If your recipe is bad, is it my fault?"
“How bad could it be? I said straight right.”
“Don't try, Luffy. That marimo is a hopeless case.”
“Did you say something shitty cook?!”
“I said you were an idiot, moss head.”
"Cut it out, both of you!"
They fell silent again when Nami hit them.
“I don't want a fight on the nest.”
“Hahahaha. Zoro and Sanji are so stupid.”
“Shut up Luffy.”
“Shut up Luffy.”
“Hahaha.”
After about another twenty minutes of building the nest, everyone was satisfied enough.
"Finally over."
“It is really beautiful, isn't it Nami-san?”
"Really."
"Yup. Now there is another important issue.”
“What is that Luffy?”
“What will our bed order be like?”
“I and Zoro have to be on the sidelines.”
“Oh, why is that witch?”
“Because Luffy is our pack leader. So he should be in the center. Chopper is literally a pup. That's why he should be on one of Luffy's sides and Sanji on the other side of Luffy because this is his first nest with us."
“But the previous time I was on the sidelines again. Chopper and you were with Luffy."
“But you're the head alpha, Zoro. Isn't it your duty to protect us?"
“Tsk. Anyway. Does the order Nami said work for you, Luffy?"
“I was thinking the same.”
“Okay then. When the time for marking comes, we will all be able to spend a special time with you anyway.”
“Then this is exactly the order, isn't it, Luffy? Zoro on the left side, Sanji on your left side, you in the middle, me on your right side, and Nami on the right side?”
“Yup.”
“Oi oi Luffy! Why am I with Marimo?"
"Definitely. I and Chopper should be on left and curly brows with the Witch too.”
“No. It's better this way.”
“Oi!”
“Oi!”
“Shishishi. Believe me, you will be most pleased with it.”
“Luff-“
“I don't want any objections.”
"But-"
"Objection. I do not want."
“Okay, Luffy”
Just as they were going to nest, there was a knock on the door.
“Luffy can I come in?”
“Oh, Robin. Come come."
So Robin came in.
“We arranged some snacks and water for the night. I thought I'd put it in if you haven't started yet."
“Thanks Robin.”
"It's okay Luffy."
“By the way, Robin, where are you going to sleep? We didn't ask you, but…”
“Oh, no problem Nami. We just talked about this with Long Nose-kun. He wanted to observe to protect the ship while you were in the nest. So I'll stay in the men's room while he's observing. Later, we will change shifts.”
“Oh okay then.”
"OK. Good nest to you.”
“Thanks, Robin-chan. If only-"
“Don't Sanji.”
"Okay."
"Goodnight."
“Good night Robin."
***
Sanji was nervous. Not only because it was his first nest with them, but also because it was the first nest he shared with others in a long time. Before Baratie, he had only ever been in the nest once. He hadn't built many nests in Baratie either, except for his heats. Zeff had accompanied him for the first few years, but later he said that as a man, he shouldn't be too dependent on people.
“Sanji, there is no need to tense up.”
"Luffy..."
“Shhh. I am here. And Zoro, Chopper, and Nami too. We are all here.”
“Luffy…”
His eyes started to tear.
“Shhh, Sanji.”
Luffy wiped Sanji's tears that hadn't flowed yet and kissed him gently on the forehead. Zoro had just stood on the side until then. He noticed that the cook had started to cry when he saw Luffy kissing him. He wanted to calm him down. That's why he hugged him from behind. Sanji was stunned at first, but then he took hold of his arms with his right hand. He grabbed Luffy with his left hand. It really felt good to be in a nest.
“Luffy…”
' Chopper whispered.
"Yup?"
“Is Sanji okay?”
“He just got a little emotional. Nothing serious."
“Then can I continue to hug you?”
“Of course Chopper.”
While Chopper and Luffy make small talk:
“This place is safe cook. You can't do wrong here. You are with us.”
“Zoro…”
“You can say anything you want to say.”
“Hold me tighter. Scent me Zoro.”
"Before Luffy?"
"Before Luffy."
"Whatever you want."
Zoro hugged him tighter. He buried his head in his neck, making sure that his scent passed to him.
Sanji was happy when he felt Zoro's scent on him, though he didn't know why. It's like… It's like…
"Thank you."
"It does not matter. Get some sleep now. We will be marking in a few hours and it will require energy.”
"Ok."
So they all decided to sleep until they were ready to mark. Hugging each other tightly.
***
When Zoro awoke, he saw Luffy sitting watching them.
“Luffy?”
“Shhh, Zoro. Let them sleep a little longer.”
“When did you wake up?”
"Why is that?"
"I was thinking."
"What?"
“Marking.”
“Why?”
“I am the pack leader…”
"Yup?"
“All of you will have my mark. Do I deserve this?"
"Luffy-"
“I know it's nonsense.”
“I would have died if it weren't for you Luffy. Nami would still be Arlong's slave. Chopper still wouldn't be able to trust humans and the cook wouldn't be able to follow his dream."
“Hmm…”
“This is why no one deserves it more than you, Luffy.”
“Zoro-”
“Now get some more sleep. I'll get you all up soon. Okay?"
"OK. Good night Zoro.”
“Good night Luffy.”
***
“Nami. Nami.”
“Wh-what?”
“Wake up.”
“Zoro?”
"Wake up."
“Is it time?”
"Yup."
“And you woke me up first?”
“Should I wake our pup or our omegas first?”
"Oh, I hate that you're right."
“Anyway, wake Chopper. I will wake Luffy and the cook.”
“Okay. Okay.”
After waking everyone up, they sat in a circle in the middle of the nest.
"Luffy are you ready?"
"I'm ready if you're ready."
Luffy made eye contact with everyone one by one. He realized that they were all ready.
“Sanji?”
“Yes, Luffy?”
“You come first.”
"But Luffy I-"
“Sanji!”
Sanji nodded without saying anything at that and leaned closer to Luffy. Luffy gave him a tight hug and scented him so intensely.
“Luffy…”
“Relax Sanji.”
After their hug was over, Luffy grabbed Sanji's right wrist. He pulled off his sleeve a little.
“Now completely relax. It'll make your head spin for a while."
"Okay."
After Sanji and Luffy's markings were finished, Sanji stepped back so the others could take his place. Chopper was looking at all this with fascinated eyes. So Sanji took him in his arms and wrapped him in his scent, both Zoro's and Luffy's.
“Let's watch the others together, shall we, Chopper?”
Chopper nodded and settled himself into Sanji's lap.
“I'm next.”
“No, I am, Zoro. Priority to women.”
“Bullshit. How are you different from me?"
“You brute ox.”
"Ha!!"
"I won't mark either of you if the two of you continue to argue."
Both of them were shocked at Luffy's words.
"Okay okay. Let's play rock paper scissors. The winner is next.”
"Agreed witch."
Unsurprisingly, it was Nami who won.
“Shit.”
“Zoro, you can wait a little longer for me, right?”
Zoro made eye contact with his captain and finally nodded to him with a sigh.
"Beautiful. Nami, come here.”
Nami then approached her captain and sat on his lap and hugged him. Luffy gripped her tightly. Their scents were mixed. Nami placed a small kiss on the captain's cheeks.
"I'm ready Luffy."
“Alright.”
Luffy rolled up the left sleeve of her pajamas. He kissed the place he was going to mark first and waited for confirmation one last time. Nami's eyes told him to continue, and he gently brought her wrist closer to him and bit it. The feeling of being marked was more intense than Nami had expected. Unlike Sanji, she leaned against Luffy and kissed his hair as if to thank him. Her head was spinning, but it wasn't unbearable. On the contrary, she even felt happy.
When Luffy was done, he looked at her mark. It was beautiful. She was his. Like Sanji, Nami was his now. He could always feel her forever. She could feel it too. His pack.
“Are you okay Nami?”
“Yes, Luffy.”
"I'm happy then."
“You know Luffy?”
"What?"
“The weirdest thing about Pack is that we only have your mark, but I can even feel Sanji-kun over this mark right now. I can feel his presence.”
"It really is strange."
“Nice oddity.”
"Yup."
"Now it's Zoro's turn. He's waited long enough. I can smell him very clearly from here.”
“Shut up witch.”
When Nami backed off, Zoro wasted no time in taking her place, but he took Luffy in his arms. He showed him his right wrist as if to say I can't wait any longer. Receiving the signal, Luffy bit him without hesitation. Zoro… his first crewmate. His first companion. Now the head alpha. This smark would make everything perfect.
Zoro hugged Luffy and inhaled his scent, risking giving in to his feelings. Luffy smelled so good. Besides, he had the scent of others. their pack. His home… his family…
When Luffy finished Zoro's marking, he kissed the mark.
“Thanks, Luffy.”
“I thank you, Zoro.”
“Then Chopper!”
“Yes, Nami?”
“Luffy, where is the pen you bought?”
"Wait, I'll get it right away."
Luffy quickly got up and took the pen.
“Sanji-kun open your arm towards me. Let me see the mark well. Chopper, come here and don't move. Let's draw your mark too."
“Hurray! Thanks, Nami.”
“What thanks? You're also a pack member."
Chopper looked at her with teary eyes. Nami replied with a smile and started drawing immediately. She drew the mark down to the smallest detail on Chopper's right wrist.
"Finished. Did you like it?"
“Nami…”
"Is there any problem?"
Chopper shook his head no.
“No, this is beautiful. Thank you."
“Wow. So we are all connected now. Let's sleep now. I'm tired."
As soon as their captain said, he instantly fell asleep. Marking three times must have been tiring, of course. The others, laughing, lay down beside their captain. They are now a complete pack. They could sleep peacefully.
