“Hey, LUFFY!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! HURRY UP AND GET YOUR BUTT OVER HERE! WE HAVE TO RUN OR WE WON'T SURVIVE! WHAT'S THE MATTER?! WE ARE ALMOST THERE! USE YOUR GUM-GUM AND SHOT YOURSELF OVER HERE! ONCE YOU ARE HERE I WILL CARRY YOU! WE ARE SURROUNDED BY THE SEA AND A BUNCH OF BATTLESHIPS! IF WE STAY HERE, WE WILL BE KILLED! LUFFY!!! CAN YOU HEAR ME?! LUFFY!!!!”
“I-I can't… My body…”
“What?”
“Isn't moving at all…”
"Don't be ridiculous! You defeated the enemy! We got Robin back too! All we have to do is run! Please! Try hard!”
“Usopp!! Luffy can't get up. We have to take the ship to him. Hurry up!"

As soon as Nami said this, they hit the ship they had planned for the escape. Fortunately, Sanji was able to make it in time to save the old lady, the rabbit, Chimney, and Chopper.

“Sanji-kun! Where the hell was you all this time?!”
“Oh… I'm sorry… I had something to take care of. Anyway… we're in trouble. We got Robin-chan back but there seems to be no escape."

They could not continue their conversation as they were fired on again. The Marines were preparing to shoot Luffy. Nobody could do anything. Just then, Usopp heard a very clear voice. He'd heard that voice before, but it wasn't as clear. And this time, he wasn't alone. The whole crew could hear more or less.

“JUMP INTO THE SEA!!!
“Usopp?”
“ROBIN CAN YOU DROP LUFFY INTO THE SEA?!”
“Leave it to me.”
“Idiot! Are you trying to kill us?! Despair will not save us!”
“We are gonna be saved! She came to save us! We got one more friend, right?!”
“Chopper? Did you look below?!”
“I did!”
“Cien Fleurs!”
“I'm moving! Is Robin doing this?”
“INTO THE SEA!”

With Sanji's quick thinking, Luffy's elastic body, and hardworking others they somehow managed to escape. Merry was indeed one of them.

Unfortunately, Merry could not go any further. Although it wasn't easy, they had to say goodbye to her. Everyone could hear her voice clearly as they bid farewell to Merry. They had lost a friend, but they still had a long adventure ahead of them. So they returned to Water 7 on the Galley-La company ship.

On the way back, Robin approached Luffy.

“Luffy?”
“Yes, Robin?”
“Is your offer still valid?”
"Certainly."
“Then I am ready too. I would be proud to join your pack.”
"Sure, but I have one condition."
"Condition?"
“You have to buy me a lot of meat and you have to attend the party we're throwing on the island.”

What did Robin expect? It was Luffy. She laughed lightly.

"Ok."
"Good. Then when I wake up, we'll make a nest. Is it okay?"
"Sure, captain."
“Shishishi! So you will never be able to sacrifice yourself again.”
“Luffy…”
“Oiii!!! SANJI!!!! FOOD!!!!"

The boy in the straw hat walked away shouting and laughing. Robin had a family for the first time. She was at home.

The crew spent two days in a house that Galley-La company had given them. Luffy developed his sleeping eating during this time. So he didn't make the mistake he made in Alabasta. He did not miss any meal. Nami was upset about losing her tangerine trees. Sanji was trying to keep up with Luffy's speed. Zoro was slightly upset that he had lost Yubashiri. So he distanced himself a little. He needed to find a new sword as soon as possible. Robin and Chopper had already done their unfinished book shopping and Chopper looked over Franky Family's injuries. Usopp was with giants far from them.

At the end of 2 days, Galley-La employees had returned the items they had taken from them. So Nami was cheered up again. The precious tangerine trees and her money were safe.

“YOW!! Are you guys SUPER?! Everyone… isn't here but it is okay. The captain is here.”
“Franky? What's up all of a sudden?"
“Listen! I've got something important to discuss.”

So Franky told the story of the treasure tree, Adam. Then he explained that his dream was to build a ship that could cross all seas using that tree. He had the blueprints and the tree. So he offered to build them a ship. Of course, they all accepted this offer.

Just then, something broke the wall.

“So are you guys Straw Hats?! I've got some guys who want to meet Monkey D. Luffy."
“NAVY!”
“Geez… He is hopeless as ever.

Before Sanji and Franky could even move, the man inside punched Luffy.

“WAKE UP!”
"Luffy!"
“Ouch! That hurt!”
“That hurt? What are you saying? You are rubber!”
“There is no means to ward off a fist of love! Looks like you've gone on a rampage huh Luffy?"
"Ah! G-g-grandpa?!”
“What?”
“A-a Navy Vice Admiral is his grandpa?!!!”
“LUFFY!!! Don't you have something to apologize to me about?!”
“Occident? 'GARP' is the name of Navy Hero!”
“Luffy, is he really your grandfather?”
"Yup. So don't you dare to mess with him! My grandfather nearly killed me many times when I was little.”
“O! Oh! Don't take my bad name out of there! I just threw you into the bottomless pit. Then I threw it into the forest at night alone. I tied you a balloon and flew it into the sky. I did all this to make you stronger!”
"I think I just saw the reason for Luffy's desire for surviving and some of his past."
“I finally left you with a close friend to work with Ace. I took my eyes off you and you have become this. I did all this to turn you into powerful marines!”
"I told you I always wanted to be a pirate, didn't I?"
“That red hair led you astray!”
“I owe S-Shanks my life! Don't insult him!”

Garp grabbed his grandson by the collar again and lifted him up.

“Are you trying to tell your grandfather what to do?!”
"I'm sorry!"
“Emergency Luffy caught by navy!”
“If we respond badly, they'll get on top of us.”

Meanwhile, they both fell asleep. Like grandpa like grandson.

"Hey! What are we doing now? I have never been in such a situation!”
“Oh no, I fell asleep. Wake up Luffy! Is this how you treat someone who scolds you?! After all, how can you talk to me like that?!”

Then, they learn that Luffy was also inspired by Shanks, one of the Yonkou, to become a pirate, and they meet up with Coby and someone whose name they forget who were friends of Luffy and Zoro.

As if all was not enough, apparently Luffy's father was Monkey D. dragon. What a family that was! The strongest family in the world?

Luckily, this job ended well. They had a big party and had fun to the fullest. Of course, at the end of the party, Nami wasn't happy to see that most of the money had been spent, and at the new bounties Sanji wasn't too happy about his wanted poster, but overall they were happy.
