Bloody roses

I walk a lonely road
Now that you're forever gone.
As I walk, I pray
This endless night will turn to dawn.

On your grave I lay
The flowers of our choice.
Our heart's bloody roses
That sing the memories with a steady voice.

Those thorn covered roses
That shed themselves tears of blood.
Just as I stand here now
Salt water drops from my eyes to the mud.

Cruel enough, I know
But still yet I have to say.
I wish that it were someone else
Wish you were alive for one more day.

The softness of a petal
The razorblade sharpness of a thorn.
The life meant for you and me
Destiny since the day we were born.

But then I still had you
Together we weren't alone.
And yet I can't say that now
You've left me on my own.

It's just another blood stained rose
Dripping as if in tears.
These thoughts. this blissful recolection
sadly won't surpass the years.

And after all is said and done
All I've left is but a rose.
The painfully happy memories inside,
Forever must I close.

I bury you, and a part of me
I knew this from the start.
A cold, beautiful, deadly rose,
And thorns make bleed my heart.

A/N: eh gomen gomen... here's the thing. I love to write poetry, and this happens to be one that I wrote two years ago, and promptly lost the paper. then about a week ago I refound it and decided to just rewrite. I just couldn't resist posting it. I thought about using it for a song-fic, but I've never been good at getting the best setting to go along with a song. But please, feel free to use this for any fics you would like to make! just PLEASE, put my name on the stupid thing. I put alot of hard work and time into this, so please respect me, and give me the credit due!!!
