Original Poetry Fan Fiction ❯ A teenagers book of depressing poems. ❯ Too late ( Chapter 2 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
You held his lifeless body,
In your weary leaden arms,
You know you can't let go
Even after all the blood has dried and gone.
You stare down at his empty eyes,
And wish that he was here,
You know he can't come back,
And ignore that growing fear.
You try to stop your falling tears,
As they glowed like crystals in the light,
You feel your sadness brewing,
Like a murky pool at night
You know you can't hold back now,
All you want to do is scream,
His now-cold body in your arms,
Why was life always so mean?
You fell in love, but now he's gone,
As if he was never here,
He left without a whisper,
And now, all you're left with is fear.
He said goodbye when he left that day,
To meet with his bloody fate,
You didn't even had the chance,
To tell him that you love him,
But,
Now it was too late.
In your weary leaden arms,
You know you can't let go
Even after all the blood has dried and gone.
You stare down at his empty eyes,
And wish that he was here,
You know he can't come back,
And ignore that growing fear.
You try to stop your falling tears,
As they glowed like crystals in the light,
You feel your sadness brewing,
Like a murky pool at night
You know you can't hold back now,
All you want to do is scream,
His now-cold body in your arms,
Why was life always so mean?
You fell in love, but now he's gone,
As if he was never here,
He left without a whisper,
And now, all you're left with is fear.
He said goodbye when he left that day,
To meet with his bloody fate,
You didn't even had the chance,
To tell him that you love him,
But,
Now it was too late.
