Intoxicated
Setting suns, murky futures,
Heavy secrets to be kept,
Shadowed movements,
Silent tears that have been wept,
Meaningless words,
And silence that's not golden,
Locked lips that should have said,
And pale faces filled with dread,
Intoxicated by broken dreams,
And hidden secrets you deny,
When no one hears your silent screams,
And all you want to do is cry.
