Alone
Dark, cold, episodes.
The mind is a scary place.
Alone in the world,
While others push by you.
Trying to forget everything.
Memories keep flowing back in.
Dark, eerie, quiet.
Even on the sunniest,
Most welcoming,
Of days.
Falling apart,
But no one can see.
Cracking up,
But no lines are visible.
Voice shaky, hands clammy, jumpy, paranoia,
But not even your best friend of 10 years can tell.
The cracks have grown,
Trapped in your own mind,
No one can understand,
No one can say they saw the signs,
No one can say they cared enough to look.
