The girl sighs.

The routine is played repeatedly,

Sleep the day away and stay up all night.

Many things are between those two events,

If only she were normal.

Ah, yes, if only she was normal.

A normal twelve-year-old girl who loved
ponies and rainbows,

Instead of the internet and stories online.

Alas, I am not normal for I am the latter.


A girl no different then the average teen,


I spend my days on the computer being selfish,


I talk with friends who enjoy things I do.


Nevertheless, I always feel miles behind.

Lost in a different time then they are,

I feel left out,

Always saddened for reasons I keep hidden,

I know come tomorrow my friend will ask about this,

However, I know come tomorrow I will lie.
