Ashes to Ashes
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
So afraid are we.
The end that awaits us all,
What will it be?
 
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
What waits for us there?
Is an eternity of darkness,
What awaits us there?
 
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Calm some may be.
For pearly white gates and angels
Is what those few see.
 
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
How will we ever know?
Horns and tails and demon wails
Is what some imaginations show.
 
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust
Why fret and worry?
Nothingness, an absolute end
No one is in a hurry
 
For ashes to ashes, dust to dust
So afraid are we.

What will it be?
