Malice of The Sire
(Damian Howl’’s feeling to his father)
Can no one see this deep hatred?
Does it leave you devastated?
Does my pain reach your eyes?
Don’’t you know I can see through your lies?
No longer will I show you my tears.
No longer will you be the cause of my fears.
Why haven’’t you ever stayed by my side?
I’’m no longer afraid and will not ever try to run or hide!
You destroyed the inner me.
Took away my chance at happiness.
Tried to take control of my destiny,
Now my fate belongs to the darkness.
Why did you take away my hope?
Why did you change my dreams to nightmares?
Did you really think that I could cope,
With my own kin’’s spiteful glares?
Because of you I live a life of tyranny,
Instead of a life of decency!
Malice of thou sire,
To see your death is my greatest desire!
A Lord of Shadows I never wanted to be.
Was that wish really so hard for you to see?
Yet I can only guess that you never gave it a look,
For you never listen to the consequences for the things you once took.
