I've known you for a while now

I know everything you like

I know your favorite movies

And I bet you watch The Simpsons every night

I can't help but feeling

Like she'll never be the one for you

And I wish that it could be me

I know that you don't love me like her

But there's a few things I wish you'd do

I'm on my knees

I'm begging you to kiss me

I'm begging you to hold me in your arms

Please just say you love me

I know it's a lie, but what's the harm?

I always kind of knew that

This would never come to be

But when I hear the way you talk about her

I wish it were me.

Haven't you ever noticed

That I'm always staring at your smile?

I follow you through the room

It's a lovesick way of screaming `I'm alive!'

She's all you talk about

Like she'll always be the one for you

I wish that it could be me

That made your heart be faster all day

I know that you don't love me like her

But there's a few things I wish you'd do
