As the people walk down the path in which they could not speak,
The children go by, a tear they dare not leak.
Down the path of life they would say
as if the heavens were at the end of their way.
“Come my children” God had said upon their wreched souls
Though they wanted to go while their bodies lye in holes.
The parents they weep cause their child they could not keep.
And to this day we go and mourn those who left the earthly grounds,
Though their souls now know no bounds.



This poem was dedicated to Someone I knew who lost his life at the age of 18 due to illness…
