You don't know me
And you probably never will.
You only see the mask
And nothing else.

Through all the fake smiles
And all the forced laughs...
You have no idea how much I really care.
You could never understand.

My answer for everything has always been,
"It's just complicated."
But I never thought
That I could trust a group of friends the way I do.

Explaining the complications...
And explaining why I care...
I guess that makes two of us,
That don't know who I am anymore.

Tell me why I care
And I'll tell you why it's complicated.
