What Memories May Bring…

Upon a high, deserted hill lays a silent town, silent still
A thick, gray mist engulfs its streets, concealing resident demon fiends
not a man nor woman roam this town and yet their screams are heard all around
Resounding through bloodied halls---their blood spilt upon the floor and walls

Monsters and demons pine to kill his pure heart and his iron will
He survives to unravel this mystery, a letter sent to him in his three-year long misery
Through this town of horrid scenes he goes on living
Death and torture stalk in the mist though he goes on living
For his long lost love, Mary

Repugnant demons haunt this nightmare town
They all deface all the purity and grace
The sirens, through the fog, resound
As though a deathly warning about this place

Maria, young woman born from a wish
He finds her within the pervading mists
A ghastly resemblance to a love, long dead
Here in this town, where all desires can be met

So he survives to find the reasons why
He needs to know if those words that brought him here are true
His couldn't possibly be alive---No, not Mary, his long dead wife
He needs to know why he's met Maria too; so on he searches through and through

Upon this lone and desolate hill in this silent town---Welcome to Silent Hill…
