"I Dream"

Haven't you wondered how it would be?

To live a life full of fantasy

And to wish you lived in a kingdom far away

In a time so different than today...

Haven't you wondered how it could be?

To be born a princess, angel, or fairy

And to hope with such power come greater things

Doing good deeds and the joy that it brings...

Wanting to see, how the world looks from the sky

Wanting to know, how it feels to fly

Wanting to be, near the moon and the stars

And wanting to understand who we are...

I dream of so many things I can see

In my imagination and my mind can they be

Things in today's world you don't always find

Life isn't that simple and not always kind...

I dream of dreams, both good and bad

Making me feel happy or sad

My wishes and hopes come to me the same way

But like all dreams, they too, fade away...

That's what is good about our dreams

We can be or do whatever we want, it seems

But dreams, they have to end, you see

For us, to wake up to our own reality...
