“Thank You, Daddy“

Here I begin to express what I want to say

To a very special person in my life today

He isn't one who lets his emotions shown

But he'll always let his presence known.

He's always there to lend you a hand

He'll show you how to make a stand

He's an adviser, a provider and a friend, too

And without end, he'll be there for you.

Now here comes the part where I wish him the best

For he deserves the time to take a break and rest

Spending his time with family and friends

And enjoying the blessings in which God sends.

So now I come to the end where I say

I love you for helping me become who I am today.

With everything happening, I know now that I'm ready

No matter what happens, I say, “Thank You, Daddy!”
