Proposal

 

 

I object to how you lied
About every little thing
I object to how you tried
To rule me like a king
I don't care just who you are
Or how you live your life
I don't care how my words scar
You've brought me only strife.
I do not like the way you shove
Aside my every claim
I do not like the way you love
To pass along the blame.
You never heard a word I said
Although you claimed to know
You never heard and now I dread
The debt you think I owe.
I can not stand it any more
I will not say "I do"
I can not act like I adore
The way you want me to.
I've told you no the final time
I moving on with life
I've told you it is not a crime
I will not be your wife
