Silent Tears   　 Staring at my white wall.   Listening to pointless arguments.   I have no say in anything.   I cry my silent tears.   Sitting across from a raging man.   Reminding me that I am imperfect and undependable.   I keep my lips tightly closed and endure.   I cry my silent tears.   Blasting rock music.   The lyrics scream out what I’m feeling inside.   It is not my body, but my mind, that is abused.   I cry my silent tears.   　 I lay in the darkness.   And close my heavy eyes.   In my mind I see something better for myself.   I cry my silent tears.
