Sky Diamonds
 
This summer heat
I swear
It's going to kill me
Even at night
No relief
 
Humidity hangs thick in the air
As I walk into the midnight moonlight
The heat slowly drains my energy
 
Eventually giving in
I lay on the grass
The moon hangs high in the sky
Surrounded by sparkling sky diamonds
