As the light fade from this once bright room

i start to relise i am alone

my shadow has left me

my soul starts to decrease

Lonelyness take hold of my once bright world

i sit in this darkness i wonder

if i will be forgetten with today

as my eye slowly close

i feel the coldness of sorrow take over

i begin to to shake with fear

as i try to keep hold of my sanity

but i feel it slipping

from my tight grasp

i know there is no one to catch me

as i fall into the pits of maddness

i slowly start to drift away

but i am stopped

slowly i open my eyes to see a shadow

i call to it ask who it is

but i get no reply

then it dissappears

a smile cross my face

as work out who that was

for my inner child has always known

when to save me from myself and once again..
