Original Poetry Fan Fiction ❯ The poems of Love, Hate, Broken Hearts and Lost friendships ❯ Horrible Horrible Truth ( Chapter 1 )

“She was my best friend” is what you say after you lose your best friend
She'll beg, plead and lie to get back with you.
But do you forgive her for the millionth time?
OR do you cut it off?

You listen to her shameful lies to defend herself
“Never” You think angry as ever at her.
She ruined your friendship that took forever to build
She destroyed the trust you shared
She stabbed you in the back again and again
And it doesn't stop there!

You wonder why you forgave her the 1st time
And then you're back to your first question
Is she worth forgiving again?
You want to but you don't want to hurt again
But giving up a friendship can hurt in the end

A/n: This is a poem I wrote in the 7th grade, because I was having problems with a friend of mine, I'm nearly a sophomore so its old news and we are still friends to this day.
