You hurt us

You're hurting us and now you're alone

You beat my mom so now she's moving on

You gave us bruises, you gave us cuts

Now all we can do is sit there and cuss

You sit there smoking while we're watching

We hiding in the dog house

We run down the hall

We're screaming our hearts out

While you're having fun

We call 911 while you're holding a gun

Now all you can do is sit there and run

We're trying to leave but you hold us back

You hurt us, you hurt us real bad

Now we're gone and you're so sad

You sit there weeping

But we don't feel bad.

Now you know how we feel

Look at your children you see

How we hurt but….

You hurt us and you can't take it back

Not even your tears, not even your cries

You hurt us and now we're not by your side
