Tokyo

It's a sad, sad day

Here in Tokyo

As we mourn the loss

Of the greatest man we'll ever know

It'll be too hard

Living in Japan

Everywhere I look

I still see that man

With his broken eyes

And a broken smile

That he flashed at me

If only for a short while

He had broken dreams

And a broken heart

And to see him there

Tore me apart…

It will rain today

Here in Tokyo

As I say goodbye

To this angel, so full of sorrow

Might not be too hard

Living in Japan

If everywhere I go

I can hear that man

With his broken eyes

And a broken smile

That he flashed at me

If only for a short while

He had broken dreams

And a broken heart

And to see him there

Tore me apart…
