I'm the hostess with the mostest

The one with all the jokes is

The one who keeps you laughin'

If you're lackin', follow me

I'll remind you of what it's like to have fun

I'm that `crazy' somebody—simple son of a gun

I'm the life of the party and I'll crack on anybody

If you're bored and looking for a laugh

Then simply follow me

All you outcasts with low self-esteem

You anti-social people with a mind to holler and scream

If you have no life and no backbone

Then simply leave your sense at home

When you have no say and no mind of your own

You ought to follow me

Oh, I'll feel no pity when you fall down

Don't really care about those who laugh at you when I'm around

(AS LONG AS IT DOESN'T AFFECT ME, YOU SEE)

If you can see past all that junk, then, by all means, follow me

If you haven't noticed it by now, I'm all out for self

I couldn't care less about you or anyone else

I'll turn my back on all your needs for my benefit, if need be

But, with a friend like that, should you really follow me?
