Just a Thought (A Couple of Them)

Lately, I've had a lot of time to sit and think. I've come to some conclusions from those thoughts and you were in most of them. You've become a very essential part of my life and so I wrote this short poem to explain these thoughts of mine…

 

I dream in colors and you're the newest, most beautiful shade

I sit back and look at my life; what a big difference you have made

“Where'd he come from?” I wonder as I glance at you from afar

I feel so free when it's just you and me, with every beat of my heart

So, those are the majority of the thoughts I've had—mostly about you

And I hope that I've been in your thoughts, too
