Prologue:

The first thing you realize is the Back of your eyes. Whatever they were made of, they hurt. Next was the straightjacket of emotion that filled the tips of your fingers into the back of your neck. You realize you're screaming and that you really want to kick and push, Wanted to kick and push if it weren't for...The blinding light above. God how I wish my only thoughts didn't consist of Biology and Math right now. Ah...breakfast, that sounds good.

Chapter 1:

He stood at 6'0 tall wrapped in a Red warm Coat, but that didn't matter as he crouched behind a large metal hull that was blown off during a small fire explosion. His hair dipped down into the snow wrapped in a steel band forming a ponytail of bright green, the hue being an effect of the drugs. He loaded a clip into the Juno NASI Slug thrower. All he needed to know at the moment was how to kill efficiently. No. not even efficiently, just enough not to endanger the innocent lives at stake. That's why he was born right? Or better yet, that's why he was built. For War against a War.

The rattle of gunfire woke him up.

He lurched forward and braced, a Second later the dilapidated hull was hit causing a massive explosion. 6.0ImpDM Modified for Collision and speed, High speed mortar fire. He leaped and rolled away from the falling Hull. Snow and Black smoke rose into the air covering him enough to dash behind a pile of Plexisteel. The screams from his trail washed over him like raw data as he sat back in the snow and wiped his arm of blood. Annoying shrapnel.

Still, the thunder of Crossfire between the Base and its invaders went through him like short bursts of information. He closed his eyes...

He Pulled into his knees and jumped. The pile of plexisteel collided with the wall, ripped and shredded by the shrapnel Mortar. Charred bits of Steel and smoke followed him high into the apex of his ascent. He slammed his pistol onto his arm for aim and fired three bolts precisely. Lightning rained down on the small Tank and the figures dropped, twitching with the loss of life. Like a falling star, Xesh burst from the darkness covered
In small blue fires Sword drawn and cleaving through the Barrel of the tank. A clean cut straight through from the energized Sword caused it to simply bend, break and hit the snow. He stood and slowly put back his sword, hand readying his pistol at his side he scanned the area.

The hatch opened on top and a black figure clad in rusted metal and black soulless eyes seemed to slither out. On its back lifted its Demonic wings into view. Gripped tight in its hands was the kind of guns you only find equipped on Battleships with a trail of ammo leading into the tank. Big, Powerful, and Dangerous to everything around it.

'Since when did they make those Portable?' Xesh Shouted to the Behemoth. He stepped backwards and scanned the situation.

His thoughts were interrupted when the Titan reared back and pulled the trigger.

"Quickly, Search for the Project!", the gruff unit-leader snarled out at his team. He stood in the wreckage at 7'0 tall with veins pulsing red waves of energy that met at the end of a canister pack at his shoulders. Standard Blackened KRI metal armor hung from his head plating to the floor, nailed onto his own body in places. Pain was not a reaction he possessed. Pain was what he gave. He stepped forward and turned, assault rifle blazing out into the biting cold.
"We don't have much time until they-", He paused as Information of another team being killed in action turned his attention to his unit. He resumed a moment later,” they come to kill us. We have come so far, we will not falter here. Our reports have not lied...this is in fact the Ixias Dome."

Before the reading could finish, Xesh pulsed a zigzag dash around the AT Leader, each half step filled with the thunder of hell. Small rails that looked like spikes hammered into the ground, walls, filled the air and his coat with holes. He jumped, Grabbed a crumbling wall and lifted himself onto the roof of a collapsing building and ran along its edge. He grabbed a shell of metal from the ground and rolled into defensive stance. He sent it flying like a disc. It cut through the air cleanly.

The Behemoth reared its large gun back and effortlessly blocked the piece of scrap laughing in low guttural snapping. He quickly stopped when he couldn't find his target.
"Is this the best the son of the Heretic can do? Come on! I came here to kill you and every last one of your insipid colonists.”

Xesh growled to himself. `Son of the Heretic..'

He pulled his Sword, Luminaire, from its sheath and started to move around the area slowly, stalking and careful. Staying low, He moved out of sight and hearing, the end of the large pile of rubble, and slipped a small bluish energy cell from one of the many pockets on his vest. He un-screwed the hilt of his sword and let fall an empty vial onto the open snow. It hissed and melted through the white floor. He pressed the other in quickly and traced the hilt onto his wrists with his left hand and back to the hilt... Following his fingers was a string of blue energy. He could hear the monster spraying the area with lead just meters away.

"I can't stay too long, you know." the Nano sentient Chastised. A scream from the opposite direction made him turn sharply. A small Red and white Fire rippled down the field towards him with Xesh at the center making large strided dashes. Sword raised high with what looked like his own blood lining the ends, blue in tint, he was hell-bent on charging head first . The Droid quickly lifted his gun in response and let fly hail from hell. They cut through the air and sliced through him quickly, nearly a direct hit to the chest. He kept moving forward until they were nearly face to face.
His blade lurched deeper into the Droids chest. Black oil jumped and covered Xesh's coat. The Assault Leader reared back and fell against the floor of the tank. He followed close with the momentum of his attack and pinned him down.
“My name is Xeno.006” Xesh growled in pain, eyes turning bloodshot and hazy. His large red cloak fell upon them both shrouding the gore like an enigma. From inside a white light grew with power, illuminating the coat and everything around it. Hissing called out to the cold and blowing wind. Suddenly an electric Firestorm was cast spiraling upward and out, throwing the coat back and burning the area, rising up and meeting the sky. At its base, there was only the white archon Xesh, Luminaire defiantly stabbed into the core of his oppressor now turned ashed metal. The lights dimmed, the wind died, and Xesh slumped back against the wall of rock, flakes of snow coating his ever-cold blooded body. He stared without reason, without strength to move into the red sky.
---
There were shouts, muffled at first by the wind and the clanging sound of metal. At first all he could feel was the rocking sensation, as if the floor was made of water. He felt a current of electricity bolt through him from his core which jerked him from his lying and relaxed state. Eyes open now, he noticed night has fallen only because he was staring into the blackness of it. White gloved hands expertly changed this and he was helped into a sitting position against the Rock wall. A glowing red heat lamp was sitting a few feet away. He closed his eyes again, tired and rocking back and forth. A cold burst of something vital entered his body. He shot awake and stared down, his coat was in tatters and..was he bleeding? He looked up quickly stared around at the many covered faces of men and women. Dressed in white environmental suits, they worked effortlessly to revitalize him. He was starting to recognize voices again, and his vision wasn't so blurry.
”I still cant believe it.”
Xesh smiled.
---
Xesh walked back towards Dome C, the hulking crater still lifting smoke from the middle of the field. Snow was gathering all around now. Around him, men and women dressed for heavy weather were welding and moving and shifting things back to order. Xesh smiled and thought, `The men are rebuilding now, soon everything will be back to normal.' He lifted his feet from the thick snow and trudged forward. The snow peacefully fell, hiding the damage of just moments ago. Movement skirted his attention upward. A few of the colonists here were helping tear down a defective wall after it was hit with cannon-fire.

They had worked on him for years now, 22 to be exact. This was the first real `field test' they were forced to give him, ultimately defending the Dome and its members of the community.

”Xesh!”, He snapped to attention and he turned. His eyes met the calm, bristled and graying face of his master. He sported a brown tether enviro-suit that matched his in a way of style.
”Engel..” The long brown cloak dragged through the snow and at the hood revealed long brown hair that danced in the wind.

”I'm making a note here..”, Engel held out his hand.

”Huge Success.”
