With a shout to Blink, the two of us appeared in the Danger Room along with damn near the entire school.
The room was crowded with mutants of all kinds. Quickly Blink and I located Suzaku and got a proper explanation to all the chaos.
"Well bro, there have been similar reports of mutants attacking all over the world. Allies throughout the nations have agreed to team up and fight with us for the mission. And it seems that everyone here believes you're a savior of some sort, what with getting us all rallied and shit."
"Me, a savior, as if" I laughed
"Yeah tell me about it. Look the Professor was looking for you, soo you should probably go see him a.s.a.p"
With a nod of thanks, I began to make my way through the crowded room and eventually to the control room.
Once I had made it, Beast and Charles greeted me.
"Hello Shifter, we've been expecting you for some time. We have been attempting to triangulate the location of Mr. Sinister and we have been successful in our attempt. He is currently on an unmarked island in the South Indian Ocean. All we must do now is formulate a plan of attack and program the coordinates into the Blackbird and we'll be ready to go." Xavier said
"And I'm doing that at the moment." Replied Beast
"Great, soo what's the big plan to take 'ol pale-face down?" I asked
"Well, we were hoping you could help us on that matter." Hank replied
"Me, really, I've never been much of a strategist. Personally, I think we should go in and smash and bash 'em till they all lay bleeding."
"A good 'ol fashioned free for all brawl. Are you sure you're Ryu and not Suzaku?" Charles chuckled
"Quite sure" I replied
"Then it's settled, you and Suzaku along with any additional mutants that choose to come along the Blackbird will me off momentarily." Hank said
"Right, well I best be off to get ready." I said heading out
Once I left the control room, I quickly located Clarice and Suzaku and informed them what was up.
Once I'd finished, we headed out to the Blackbird only to be met by Jean, Scott and Kurt.
"Soo, you all are coming with huh… want to be one of the first to get in on the front line action." I smirked
"Well, not exactly. Scott and I are one of the few who can pilot the jet, that's all" Jean replied
"Hey don’t let 'em fool you; one eye there really does want to be first in on the action." A ruff voice said from behind me
Turning around I came face to face with none other than the raging Canadian, Wolverine.
"Logan, I thought you had left to find some answers."
"I did, but a little birdie told me I was gonna get a chance to kick some ass. What can I say, I couldn't turn it down." He winked
"Well, good to see you back Logan."
"One more thing, call me James."
"Whatever you want, James" I said smiling
Buckling up, Cyclops prepared the jet for take off.
"Soo, do we have the coordinates yet?" I asked
"Nope, we're just gonna fly and wait, it shouldn't take long for the professor to get everything sent and for us to pinpoint the exact location." Cyclopes replied
"Well, I'm going to take a quick nap for a while, wake me when we arrive."
Closing my eyes, I set myself into a meditation. Slowly breathing, I released all my worries, fears and anxieties and washed them into a sea of nothingness.
"Do you think we'll make it Ryu?" Suzaku asked quietly
"I'm not sure bud, I'm really not. Strong though we are this world does have some bad ass mutants." I said wearily
"That's what I fear, but what don't kill us will only make us stronger… right?"
"Hey, you're supposed to be here for my moral support. Not the other way around!" I screamed ecstatically inside my mind
"Hey can't I get scared too?"
"NO, you're supposed to be Suzaku! Lord of Chaos!" I stressed
"Soo, I have to keep up and appearance?" Suzaku asked skeptically
"Yes, yes you do." I laughed
"God, fine but I have feelings too ya know."
"Yeah, hate, anger, and rage" I said rolling my eyes
"And love and fear"
"Yeah…okay"
"I do, I feel as well" Suzaku plead"
"Very well, whatever, I'm sure we'll do fine" I said exhausted
"Let's hope so." Suzaku said
Drifting off, I quickly fell asleep though it wasn't long before I felt a gentle touch to my cheek.
"Sweetie, wake up, we're here." Blink said
"My angel, a pink one, but my sweet bubblegum angel"
"Aww, you're soo sweet, I can't believe…"
"Ahh, give it a break, damn." I heard a growl
Looking around I saw James (Wolverine) staring at me.
"What's the matter with you?" I asked
"We're about to kick ass and all you two can do is coo at each other." He snarled
"Hey, I'm pumped for this battle just as much as you are, and I may never see her again. You ever think about that?"
"Yeah actually I have…and, look kid, ya live and love and move on. It's as simple as that." James stressed
"You found out about Kira, didn't you?" I asked softly
"Yeah I did, I loved soo many women in my long life but no one as much as her." He sighed
"Well today make a stand and fight for her." I said
"You know kid; you have a knack for always saying the right thing to someone."
"It's a gift"
"We're about there ladies." I heard a call from up front
Unbuckling my harness, I stepped up front and took a look at what lay before us.
Out the front view port lay a small island, around which the outside was thickly covered in a dense forest of trees. At the heart lay a gigantic base with what apparently was a nuclear reactor.
"Soo…where do we touch down at, you have to know they're aware of our presence." I said
"Well, I was thinking along the beach and just storm it and as you oh soo politically put it smash and bash 'em." Cyclopes said
"Sounds good to me…LET'S DO THIS" I cried aloud
All around me mutants were unbuckling their harnesses and preparing themselves.
Hovering over the beach, I grabbed Pinky, Nightcrawler, and teleported down to the island.
"NOW" I yelled
Pinky and I tore portals open and let the mutants pour out. Once my clones arrived, they too created portals and in turn, the beach was flooded with mutants of all kinds, all coming to take down Sinister's army.
In a booming voice I bellowed both telepathically and audibly I yelled;
"MUTANTS ATTACK"
Then all hell broke loose
The water behind us rose and crashed down upon us, the sand below to swallow us.
If it weren’t for my quick thinking and ability to teleport I'd probably been sucked under.
Teleporting into the air, I hovered above the scene. The sand and surf didn't seem natural, looking around me I saw mutants of all kinds attacking the elemental hindrances.
Some, being pulled out of the sinking sand only to be shoved back down by the living water.
I saw the Human Torch and Storm blasting at the beach and sea respectively and noticed both would cringe when attacked.
Out of the woods came Crossbones wielding his pistols and grenades, along side him Tombstone.
Spider-man and Anti-Venom (Eddie Brock) took after Tombstone while James chose Crossbones.
Following Storm's idea, I rallied my clones into attacking the sand and water.
Sending blasts of lightning at the sea, I felt a pain of empathy for the fish and sea critters I'd killed in the process.
The water began to moan under the continued assault and soon a human shape formed on the beachfront.
Hydro-man, apparently as it was, had enough of our blasting and couldn't keep his form.
"Bobby hit 'em" someone screamed
Looking down I saw Iceman blast Hydro-man fully in the chest with a sub-zero icy blast. Following up, The Thing screamed,
"Its mutha fucking clobbering time" and smashed the ice statue of Hydro-man into pieces.
"That's one down and probably a million more to go ladies." I screamed in triumph
"If that was Hydro-man, than that means that the beach is…" I thought
"Ryu, let me go play…please." Suzaku groaned
"Do what you do best man" I chuckled
Splitting off, Suzaku jumped into the fray.
Several mutants were helping each other out of the quicksand and mud as Johnny Storm and others had turned Sandman into glass and shattered him into sparking diamond across the beach.
Flying down, I scooped up Clarice and headed towards the main compound.
Along the way, I witnessed several dead bodies, some belonging to us, others to them.
I could make out Wolverine and Sabertooth going at it, a huge sibling rivalry.
Dueling it out was Spider-man taking on Kraven the Hunter and Rhino at the same time, while Colossus went after Man-Ape.
Every once in a while I would send a blast of lightning or concussive energy to aid my allies, but what I truly had in mind was to get to the compound a.s.a.p.
After about fifteen minutes of flying, I set down outside the main building.
There stood the "guards", Blob, Juggernaut, Doctor Octopus and Doctor Doom.
"Not much of a welcoming party is it?" Blink said with a smirk
"Just be careful, please." I said quietly
Spreading my palms, I unleashed a massive concussive blast knocking all but Blob down.
Pinky took Dr. Doom, ducking and dodging his blasts and blows, teleporting above, below or behind him.
A jab here, a stab there, Pinky was alive and on fire quickly overtaking
Dr. Doom with a spear to the eye socket of his mask. Turning she then went to face Doc Ock wasting no time at all.
Wasting no time of my own, I sent lightning bolts and balls of fire at my opponents. Juggernaut seemed to fry himself alive running head on into my assault, connecting with my stomach his punch sent me flying and landing on my back some twenty yards back.
After I stopped my head from spinning, I picked myself off the ground and jumped back into the fray.
Looking around for an opponent, I realized that Juggernaut and the rest of the villains were out cold and the last remains of a few mutants were pouring in through the doorway.
Walking up to the unstoppable man, I checked for a pulse, weak, but still beating. Checking on the others, all were alive as well excluding Dr. Doom, who still had one of Blink's spears embedded in his face.
"Blink, it will only take a second, now hold still." A deep male voice said
"Please be quick about it, if Ryu finds out he'll be upset." Clarice said quietly
"Be upset about what exactly?" I asked loudly coming into view
Stepping through the doorway and off to my right was a middle-aged black man holding Blink's arm, bandaging it up.
I could see a deep wound along her arm and several small cuts and burns on her face, arms and legs as well.
"What happened?" I cried
"Pyro is what happened, got burnt and narrowly escaped getting my arm ripped off my Octopus. A few of the cuts are from either the Hobgoblin or the Green one, can be too sure they look soo much alike." She replied
That's when I looked around and saw several more dead bodies.
"Can you heal them as well?" I asked
"I can't resurrect the dead, but my healing skills are unsurpassed." The man replied
"Well then fix her up and go help the others; I'll give you back up as well." I added cloning myself ten more times for the medic
"Names Michael by the way" he said
"I'll be fine sweetie; it's only a flesh wound." Pinky said reassuringly
"Come on, we'll talk later."
Following the path of bodies and destruction, it lead us down several flights of stairs. As if in a far off time and place, I could hear the faint sounds of battle below us. The heat grew warmer from the massive use of energies used in the enclosed space.
Traveling down further, the heat grew warmer and warmer until we reached the scene of the battle.
Before us was laid out a small war between Gambit, Storm, and Iron-Man against Carnage, Red skull and Magnus. Both sides fought showing no mercy.
Gambit flung everything within sight, super charging the debris and aiming strait for Red Skull only to have Magnus move it aside deftly.
Storm and Iron-Man blasted both Carnage and Magnus with lightning and bolts of plasma. Diving for cover, neither side wanted to take risks of injury.
Grabbing Blink, I made a mad dash and super speed while going intangible.
Blasts form both sides flew right through us, never in my life had I been soo exhilarated. Duck, dodging and weaving blasts, bullets and debris we made it to a set of huge double wide lead doors.
Forcing the doors open with my magnetism, they slowly opened revealing the reason they were made of lead and soo heavy.
For inside was a nuclear reactor and the faces of my certain death.
There before me stood Dormannu, Radioactive Man, Ultron 15 and worse, Skarr.
"Ohh…SHIT!" I choked
Locating Suzaku, I pulled him to me instantly
"What the…ohh shit!" Suzaku said as his jaw dropped
"Let's get this over with…human." Dormannu said
"Umm…yeah" I gulped
With a brilliant flash and an explosive bang, Suzaku cloned himself ten times.
"Okay, you know it's gotta be bad when you clone yourself, you never need backup." I mentioned wide-eyed
"Don't mention it, seriously don't." he said glaring
Taking my other half's lead, I too cloned my self ten times.
"Let's do this." We cried in unison
Pinky, Suzakus and my-selves all leapt into battle.
Pinky immediately took fight to Radioactive Man, while the rest of us dozen hit the other three villains four deep, two of the each of us apiece.
I chose Skarr first, unsheathing my adamantine claws I leapt at him, while Suzaku pulled out a ninja-to and ran full tilt.
In a midair leap towards the massive green monster, Skarr met my face with his massive fist.
I flew back striking the thick concrete wall and was buried some five feet inside. Once I had struggled to pull myself out I jumped back into action sending a blast of lightning at the brute.
He shrugged my attack off as if it was nothing, but all I needed was a distraction for Suzaku to get his chance. He and one of his clones attacked.
One hacked at a leg with an adamantine blade while the other blasted the wound with super heated magma.
For being the Hulk's son, he'd inherited his fathers genetics for regeneration quite well. No sooner had we inflicted damage to the monstrosity then would it heal.
"Shit, how do you kill the Hulk anyways?" I asked
"You can't kill him, only incapacitate him." My twin answered
"And we do that how?"
"Release it all!" he roared with an evil grin
"And kill everyone?" I screamed
"Do what you have to Ryujin!" I heard Clarice say as she took a giant blow to the side of the jaw knocking her to the ground
"Pinky" Suzaku and I cried in unison
But Pinky didn't get back up, I flew over to her forgetting the battle.
She had burns from severe radiation all over her body; I hadn't even thought to protect her from radiation as we entered the reactor core.
Checking her pulse, as I feared, there was none.
Pinky was gone, my Clarice, Blink, and there was nothing I could do about it.
Ohh sure some say I could go back about a half and hour and stop it all from happening, but I know if I saw myself in this kind of heated battle I'd only end up attempting to kill myself. Besides there always is some kind of weird time paradox shit as a result.
Looking up at Suzaku, he knew exactly what I was thinking and he stepped back.
"I'LL KILL YOU, KILL YOU ALL!" I screamed
"Ohh you're gonna die." My twin said in a singsong voice
"Ohh yeah they will." I growled
"And you propose to do this how?" Ultron 15 asked in disbelief
"In the words of MY Lord, The Dark Lord of the Sayians, King Vegeta,
"WELCOME TO OBLIVION!"
With that, I ripped open four small separate back holes and the feet of my enemy.
With continual blasts of concussive energy, the twelve of us blasted them into their demise. Falling into the hole of nothingness, I quickly sealed them before anything else could be drawn in.
"Suzaku, I want you to stay with her, I'm going after Sinister myself." I said with tears in my eyes
I walked around the reactor and began looking for an exit. In the upper left hand corner of the room was an open trapdoor.
Hovering above the opening, I lowered myself inside so as to not make a single sound on the metal railings. I didn't want Sinister to have any warning that I was on my way to kill his bitch ass.
Creeping along the stone passageway, I could hear the steady "thrum" of the electronics and motors going on in the distance.
There was little light to speak of, and after five painstaking minuets of walking hunched over I came upon a brightly lit room.
And there he was, standing there waiting for me, the bastard named Nathaniel Essex, Mister Sinister.
"I hope you believe in someone, because I'm sending you straight to the afterlife. You are fucking DEAD!" I bellowed
"I highly doubt that for you see…."
"Shut the fuck up and DIE!" I screamed as I blasted him with an optic blast
"Don't like that too much now do ya? Huh…take this too," I said as I unleashed a blast of concussive energy
Sinister was blown off his feet and into his equipment.
I ripped the monitors from the walls with my magnetism and smashed them into the fiend.
"Fuck you, you bastard, I loved her and now she's gone, dead."
"ALL" I slammed machinery into him
"BECAUSE" an optic blast eradicated the equipment, slagging metal to his skin
"OF" I blasted him with super heated magma
"YOU" I blasted him once again with optic and concussive blasts
I walked over to Sinister and stood there staring down at him.
"Give me one, just one fucking good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now." I growled
"I…I…." Sinister coughed
"You talk too much." I said coldly
Drawing my katana, I cut off Sinister's head and continued to unleash optic, concussive, magma, lightning, plasma, and nuclear blasts into his body.
"That's for Pinky" I spat
Turning around I went back to where I'd left Suzaku, there I saw him cradling Blink in his arms.
"Well" He asked
"We're going home." I said quietly
Picking my love, I called Suzaku and all of my clones back to me.
"They can handle the rest and the clean up, we're outta here."
"Where to" my twin asked
"Home, our time, I've got some problems of my own to fix now."
"And Pinky"
"I'll release her soul into the infinite in our time. Maybe we'll meet again and fall in love once more."
"How will you know it's her?" Suzaku asked
"She'll recognize the words Enok Veresekum, if I never meet her again then ohh well. It's better to have lived and loved then to have never loved at all."
Opening a rift in time and space, I stepped into a reality all of my own.

"Just be careful, please." I said quietly
Spreading my palms, I unleashed a massive concussive blast knocking all but Blob down.
Pinky took Dr. Doom, ducking and dodging his blasts and blows, teleporting above, below or behind him.
A jab here, a stab there, Pinky was alive and on fire quickly overtaking
Dr. Doom with a spear to the eye socket of his mask. Turning she then went to face Doc Ock wasting no time at all.
Wasting no time of my own, I sent lightning bolts and balls of fire at my opponents. Juggernaut seemed to fry himself alive running head on into my assault, connecting with my stomach his punch sent me flying and landing on my back some twenty yards back.
After I stopped my head from spinning, I picked myself off the ground and jumped back into the fray.
Looking around for an opponent, I realized that Juggernaut and the rest of the villains were out cold and the last remains of a few mutants were pouring in through the doorway.
Walking up to the unstoppable man, I checked for a pulse, weak, but still beating. Checking on the others, all were alive as well excluding Dr. Doom, who still had one of Blink's spears embedded in his face.
"Blink, it will only take a second, now hold still." A deep male voice said
"Please be quick about it, if Ryu finds out he'll be upset." Clarice said quietly
"Be upset about what exactly?" I asked loudly coming into view
Stepping through the doorway and off to my right was a middle-aged black man holding Blink's arm, bandaging it up.
I could see a deep wound along her arm and several small cuts and burns on her face, arms and legs as well.
"What happened?" I cried
"Pyro is what happened, got burnt and narrowly escaped getting my arm ripped off my Octopus. A few of the cuts are from either the Hobgoblin or the Green one, can be too sure they look soo much alike." She replied
That's when I looked around and saw several more dead bodies.
"Can you heal them as well?" I asked
"I can't resurrect the dead, but my healing skills are unsurpassed." The man replied
"Well then fix her up and go help the others; I'll give you back up as well." I added cloning myself ten more times for the medic
"Names Michael by the way" he said
"I'll be fine sweetie; it's only a flesh wound." Pinky said reassuringly
"Come on, we'll talk later."
Following the path of bodies and destruction, it lead us down several flights of stairs. As if in a far off time and place, I could hear the faint sounds of battle below us. The heat grew warmer from the massive use of energies used in the enclosed space.
Traveling down further, the heat grew warmer and warmer until we reached the scene of the battle.
Before us was laid out a small war between Gambit, Storm, and Iron-Man against Carnage, Red skull and Magnus. Both sides fought showing no mercy.
Gambit flung everything within sight, super charging the debris and aiming strait for Red Skull only to have Magnus move it aside deftly.
Storm and Iron-Man blasted both Carnage and Magnus with lightning and bolts of plasma. Diving for cover, neither side wanted to take risks of injury.
Grabbing Blink, I made a mad dash and super speed while going intangible.
Blasts form both sides flew right through us, never in my life had I been soo exhilarated. Duck, dodging and weaving blasts, bullets and debris we made it to a set of huge double wide lead doors.
Forcing the doors open with my magnetism, they slowly opened revealing the reason they were made of lead and soo heavy.
For inside was a nuclear reactor and the faces of my certain death.
There before me stood Dormannu, Radioactive Man, Ultron 15 and worse, Skarr.
"Ohh…SHIT!" I choked
Locating Suzaku, I pulled him to me instantly
"What the…ohh shit!" Suzaku said as his jaw dropped
"Let's get this over with…human." Dormannu said
"Umm…yeah" I gulped
With a brilliant flash and an explosive bang, Suzaku cloned himself ten times.
"Okay, you know it's gotta be bad when you clone yourself, you never need backup." I mentioned wide-eyed
"Don't mention it, seriously don't." he said glaring
Taking my other half's lead, I too cloned my self ten times.
"Let's do this." We cried in unison
Pinky, Suzakus and my-selves all leapt into battle.
Pinky immediately took fight to Radioactive Man, while the rest of us dozen hit the other three villains four deep, two of the each of us apiece.
I chose Skarr first, unsheathing my adamantine claws I leapt at him, while Suzaku pulled out a ninja-to and ran full tilt.
In a midair leap towards the massive green monster, Skarr met my face with his massive fist.
I flew back striking the thick concrete wall and was buried some five feet inside. Once I had struggled to pull myself out I jumped back into action sending a blast of lightning at the brute.
He shrugged my attack off as if it was nothing, but all I needed was a distraction for Suzaku to get his chance. He and one of his clones attacked.
One hacked at a leg with an adamantine blade while the other blasted the wound with super heated magma.
For being the Hulk's son, he'd inherited his fathers genetics for regeneration quite well. No sooner had we inflicted damage to the monstrosity then would it heal.
"Shit, how do you kill the Hulk anyways?" I asked
"You can't kill him, only incapacitate him." My twin answered
"And we do that how?"
"Release it all!" he roared with an evil grin
"And kill everyone?" I screamed
"Do what you have to Ryujin!" I heard Clarice say as she took a giant blow to the side of the jaw knocking her to the ground
"Pinky" Suzaku and I cried in unison
But Pinky didn't get back up, I flew over to her forgetting the battle.
She had burns from severe radiation all over her body; I hadn't even thought to protect her from radiation as we entered the reactor core.
Checking her pulse, as I feared, there was none.
Pinky was gone, my Clarice, Blink, and there was nothing I could do about it.
Ohh sure some say I could go back about a half and hour and stop it all from happening, but I know if I saw myself in this kind of heated battle I'd only end up attempting to kill myself. Besides there always is some kind of weird time paradox shit as a result.
Looking up at Suzaku, he knew exactly what I was thinking and he stepped back.
"I'LL KILL YOU, KILL YOU ALL!" I screamed
"Ohh you're gonna die." My twin said in a singsong voice
"Ohh yeah they will." I growled
"And you propose to do this how?" Ultron 15 asked in disbelief
"In the words of MY Lord, The Dark Lord of the Sayians, King Vegeta,
"WELCOME TO OBLIVION!"
With that, I ripped open four small separate back holes and the feet of my enemy.
With continual blasts of concussive energy, the twelve of us blasted them into their demise. Falling into the hole of nothingness, I quickly sealed them before anything else could be drawn in.
"Suzaku, I want you to stay with her, I'm going after Sinister myself." I said with tears in my eyes
I walked around the reactor and began looking for an exit. In the upper left hand corner of the room was an open trapdoor.
Hovering above the opening, I lowered myself inside so as to not make a single sound on the metal railings. I didn't want Sinister to have any warning that I was on my way to kill his bitch ass.
Creeping along the stone passageway, I could hear the steady "thrum" of the electronics and motors going on in the distance.
There was little light to speak of, and after five painstaking minuets of walking hunched over I came upon a brightly lit room.
And there he was, standing there waiting for me, the bastard named Nathaniel Essex, Mister Sinister.
"I hope you believe in someone, because I'm sending you straight to the afterlife. You are fucking DEAD!" I bellowed
"I highly doubt that for you see…."
"Shut the fuck up and DIE!" I screamed as I blasted him with an optic blast
"Don't like that too much now do ya? Huh…take this too," I said as I unleashed a blast of concussive energy
Sinister was blown off his feet and into his equipment.
I ripped the monitors from the walls with my magnetism and smashed them into the fiend.
"Fuck you, you bastard, I loved her and now she's gone, dead."
"ALL" I slammed machinery into him
"BECAUSE" an optic blast eradicated the equipment, slagging metal to his skin
"OF" I blasted him with super heated magma
"YOU" I blasted him once again with optic and concussive blasts
I walked over to Sinister and stood there staring down at him.
"Give me one, just one fucking good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now." I growled
"I…I…." Sinister coughed
"You talk too much." I said coldly
Drawing my katana, I cut off Sinister's head and continued to unleash optic, concussive, magma, lightning, plasma, and nuclear blasts into his body.
"That's for Pinky" I spat
Turning around I went back to where I'd left Suzaku, there I saw him cradling Blink in his arms.
"Well" He asked
"We're going home." I said quietly
Picking my love, I called Suzaku and all of my clones back to me.
"They can handle the rest and the clean up, we're outta here."
"Where to" my twin asked
"Home, our time, I've got some problems of my own to fix now."
"And Pinky"
"I'll release her soul into the infinite in our time. Maybe we'll meet again and fall in love once more."
"How will you know it's her?" Suzaku asked
"She'll recognize the words Enok Veresekum, if I never meet her again then ohh well. It's better to have lived and loved then to have never loved at all."
Opening a rift in time and space, I stepped into a reality all of my own.
