I believe it was a gradual dawning. Yes. Though I had not suspected there would be a point at which I would accept… what I knew to be truth. Do things really sound worse than what they are, or do we only say that to try and make ourselves believe it? It’s hard to choose where the beginning really lies… but a beginning can be made.

Oh, but she adored the way his eyes glinted, what resided within them. She imagined he could not be aware of how much he revealed every time he stared at her. Hope, longing, fear…and the thrill that came with it.

“ I just don’t want you to be hurt.” Such a serious face he wore.
“ I won’t let myself be hurt.” Flat, she smiled, neither of us believe that.
“ Okay.” I need you.
“ I should go.” Why does it seem as if I’m just your dream. “ Night.”
