Chapter Fourteen: Final Chapter (They Just Vanish)

 

"Come, there's someone I want you to meet. I'm sure you will hate after this," Alex says as they leave the airport. "I will never hate you," Kane says following Alex like a lost puppy. Together they head straight to the office where Kaoru stays, and once they're there Alex coldly enters first and shows Kaoru the evidences.

"Good job, but did you bring the grand prize?" Kaoru asks with a little devilish to his looks. "Kane..." Alex calls out and Kane steps inside, only to be in total shock to see Kaoru again. "Hello my love, it has been such a long time..." Kaoru smiles devilishly getting up and walks up to Kane. "How...?" Kane looks at him then over at Alex. "I sent her to kill your family, and take you back to me. She did a good job, don't you think?" Kaoru laughs lightly before he suddenly grabs Kane and sinks his fangs into her neck.

"Ah... the great power... I can feel it..." Kaoru pulls away and pushes Kane on the floor. "I never loved you, Kane. I know who you really are before we met, and everything goes as I've planned. With your power, the world will bow before me." Kaoru laughs madly before he swiftly knocks both Kane and Alex out with ease.

"Crystal," Kaoru straighten himself. "Yes master," a lady in blonde steps out from the shadow. "Do what you like with them," Kaoru waves his hand dismissing her. "Yes master," Crystal nods and drags Alex and Kane away with ease.

"Ohhh..." Alex groans coming to. "I can't believe you betrayed me like that," Kane's voice cuts the air sharply nearby. "Well, now you get to see that the man you once loved truly isn't all that." Alex says coolly shaking her head to clear her vision. Both she and Kane are chained to the wall, hands and feet. "I... I can't believe that Kaoru is nothing more than using me..." Kane cries quietly.

"A pity, don't you think?" a crystal clear voice echoes from the dark. A voice that Alex recognizes and the memories of the good old days haunt her once more. Stepping into the dim light, Crystal stands tall and her blue eyes pierces through Alex. "It's a pity to be betrayed by the one you love isn't it?" Crystal asks again, but still leaving her eyes on Alex.

"Crystal..." Alex murmurs the girl's name. "It has been a long time, Alex." Crystal says coldly. "It has..." Alex pauses feeling Kane's glare upon her. "Things wouldn't be like it is now, if you hadn't..." "You walked out on me, and leave me for this witch?" Crystal slaps Alex hard. "You have no idea how hard it is for me..." Crystal walks away from Alex.

She turns around, holding a whip in her hand with anger on her face and hatred in her eyes. "We were so happy, but one day you picked up and left without a reason." Crystal whips Alex so hard that it cuts the clothes and into the skin. "Master Kaoru showed me that the reason you left me, is because of this woman. Who left him for you," she whips Kane twice and goes back on lashing the whip on Alex body.

"I walked out on you?!" Alex shouts. "Quiet!" Crystal orders, as she whips Alex hard. "Kkk... You're the one walking out on me; your parents forced you to leave me. They manipulated you into believe that it is me that leave you, and I am left with nothing but broken pieces of my life..." "Quiet!!!" Crystal continues on whipping Alex lashing out her anger. "This woman? Your master left her in total pain for decades, feeling lost and so much pain. We met, and we both have so much things in common about our life. We bonded..." a single red tear shed from Alex's eyes. "We overcome our painful past and together look forward for a brighter future...But no matter how we tried, we always cannot forget our first love..." Alex grits her teeth to endure the pain and looks straight into Crystal's eyes.

"Ohh... all this time... you still love me?" Crystal stops her rampaging anger and let go of the whip. "I can never forget you..." Alex whispers. "I've always waited for the day you would returns to me, and stay with me forever..." Crystal reaches out for Alex's face. She leans in and kisses Alex deeply, all the while Kane rattle the chains trying to free herself to do something about the sight in front of her.

Crystal pulls away suddenly, but the tease of the kiss lingers asking for more. Before long, she unchains Alex and deeply kissing her. They slowly sit down on the ground, still in a tangle with Alex's hands under Crystal's shirt. "Ohhh..." Crystal let out a soft moaning sound, making Kane rattling the chains even more than before. Baring her fangs, Alex digs it deep into Crystal's neck making the girl holds onto Alex even tighter than before.

"Now, go tell Kaoru to bring us with him back to Japan. Use us as bait, to kill everyone with ease. Do it good and I'll reward you with what your heart and body desire," Alex says and Crystal nods her head like a zombie. "Good girl," Alex leans down and kisses her once more before she leave.

The plan works out well, too well and Amber is also present. No one put up a fight, not even Mia. Kentaro believes in Alex, so he waits for her signals to strike. Suddenly, those who Alex said to be dead are alive, and killed every single halfa that's with Kaoru.

"Damn!" Kaoru says angrily grabbing Crystal by the throat. "Come on Kaoru, you're a coward for hiding behind a woman." Alex said coldly. Kane says nothing, due to the fact that she's still angry at Alex kissing another person in front of her. "What can a halfa like you do? I have Kane's blood, so I have to ultimate power..." he let out a maniacally laughter. Swiftly, he tightens his grips and Crystal vanishes into thin air.

"Crystal!" Alex reaches a hand out at the air in hope of catching a fragment of her but it is all too late now. Quick as lightening, within a blink of an eye Alex already have Kaoru at her mercy. "How many..." Alex pauses as the rain begins to pour down on them. "How many people have died, for your selfishness goal? This ends here..." with that, Alex rips him in two.

Two days after that event, Alex disappears once more. Kane too, also vanishes a few days after that. It is as though they've never existed, before long everyone stops searching for them and resume their life once more. No one knows whatever happened to Alex or Kane, some says that they meet up some place and live in peace. While other says that even vampire, died from broken-hearted, but the truth is only Alex and Kane would know.

"Sushi again? You know I hate raw food..." the one sitting on the motorcycle says. "You know I hate sitting on a bike wearing a dress," the other one replies climbing on. "You can always take the car I got for your birthday," the first one says. "I want you to be my designated driver..." the other says giggling softly. Together they ride off down the busy street, and heading for a black-tie party that wait for its main guests to arrive.
