Original Stories Fan Fiction ❯ Akuma no Dorei ❯ Progress Statement 1 ( Chapter 2 )

[ X - Adult: No readers under 18. Contains Graphic Adult Themes/Extreme violence. ]
AN: I have a feeling no one's enjoying this story. So I made this chapter to flesh out the plot more, that's why it's so short. Though the story will be focusing mainly on the demon's relationships with their slaves, and not all in the explicit or serious manner like Aya and Leo, there is an overall plot, which will not finish with this story. More on that later.

Please! Those who are reading, tell me what you think! I'll be eternally grateful!

Progress Statement 1

"Nakaharu Aya has defeated Squad Seven," Drone Seven reported in an utterly monotonous voice, clattering its quick fingers over the Qwerty keyboard in front of it. Though the Drones had different buttons to press, they hit their keys at exactly the same time, not pausing in between words or on the space or the return key like humans- and never hitting backspace. The symphony of clicking didn't disturb the discussion the group of the ten powerful humans and demons had at the table.

"Proceed with Stage Two?" The question was hardly such, for there was no upward inflection at the end, but the men understood just the same.

"No. Stage Two initiates the exact moment the others finish with Stage One."

"Yes, sir," the drone said, and immediately shut down.

One of the demons questioned, "Is it alright to leave them unattended? The Kaminari demons just might kill them, and we have already decided to use them. They are ultimately the best of the straight shinobi."

Another demon answered him, "It is unlikely that they would do so. Kaminari Lei had grouped them accordingly, and they trust his judgement almost over Kaminari Leo."

"And we are entirely sure they have absolutely no suspicion over the contest arrangements, correct? They believe this was just a rogue ninja's plan to strip the villages of their strongest, right?" asked one earnest human.

The drones clicked, almost making one sound like a harmonious choir.

"We're not sure of that," said another demon of the five that were there. "We demons have our ways, and they're are not all the same. It is unfortunate that the Kaminaris that had taken the boys are so scattered and ambiguous. They aren't like normal demons. They are especially unlike a regular demon tribe."

"It's because of their age. If we were to transpose their ages, they would be in their middle twenties as humans, except for one who is even younger, still without regrets. We should have arranged for them to be taken in by another tribe."

"It doesn't matter now. All that matters is that we move through the stages with fluidity and accuracy."

"Don't worry. As long as the demons stay unknowledgeable, we have room for error."

But most of the humans couldn't trust the demons, and the demons in turn didn't trust the humans for a moment. It was a balance of the most precarious nature. Their aim was as simple as any other evil person's- absolute power.

"Takahashi Miroku's master, Kaminari Souryuu, has defeated Squad Three." The drone that said this shut down.

First, they would trample His Majesty of the demon world and overtake the powerful demons, then they will enslave the shinobi races of the world, every type of secret warrior that existed, then the real world would be their last seizure. In each phase, the population was larger, more advanced, and weaker in aspects of physical and spiritual strength. However, if these demons and humans took the world from the top to bottom, the next world will be more or less unaware of their disappearance. The demons hardly ever interacted with the ninjas, the ninjas isolated themselves from the real world, and the real world was hardly aware of its own problems. It was a brilliant and simple plan.

They had lieges by the millions, sworn to such a strict secrecy monitored from memory chips imbedded in their brains that not even if they were tortured would they reveal the plans- or else said brain would explode to delightful bits. To help with the conspiracy, the group haven't given themselves or the plan a name. It was just there, a secret plan to take over the world, more silent than than a single blade of leaf waving in the wind. And this was a group of old males and females, after transposing ages and all that was done. Their followers were young. The group planned.

This first bit of killing off the demons was a delicate situation, a sensitive plan. The humans didn't have the weaponry or talent to defeat every single creature in the demon world that lived on every single continent. So, with the demons stripping away the talent of the shinobi clans, these clans will be provoked to revolt against the demons. Many ninjas will die, and so will many demons, and there will be acidic rivalry between them forever, stronger than ever before. The turning point for the conspirators' success will be just how many demons die. They could handle a low casualty rate for the shinobi, but more than half of the demons had to die.

This plan went for Japan along with the ninja world dwellers and every other continent. This first bit might not work. The shinobi might be wiped out, and the group will have to rely on the real world dwellers to defeat the demon world, and that had a higher chance of being unsuccessful. Which would leave the group with nothing but their group of followers with the demons that have warmed themselves up from shinobi and ninjas. If that happened, they might be the ones left out on top.

It may seem like all will be ruined, but the competition was made also for another purpose.

First, one must understand that thousands of these competitions were placed in the underground ninja world- not to say that all underground dwellers are ninjas, just those with secretive powers the real world humans were unable to understand, and would retaliate badly- and that hundreds of thousands of boys, and girls, were now the property of demons. Because of the century feast, most of the demons wouldn't kill these warriors and instead would fuse blood and keep them for pets.

Fusing blood with warriors made their strength increase by nearly thirty percent or more, and made them almost immortal, as the group's researched proved. After these stages, the group will round up the warriors and keep them in their subterranean cells until the demons are either wiped out or comes out on top. Either way, they will use the enhanced warriors to check the rest of the population.

The group was located in Japan for the time being. Every competition has been completed, and it was only a matter of which demons picked the best out of each country. Phase One's Stage One's progress was well under way.
