Indigo Kids Tour Pt. V
The first show began at noon on the first day. A small indie band
was opening for the Indigo Kids. All anyone knew was they were
covering a song by Led Zeppelin. Ryan believed that they came from
Hawaii or the Philippines. He couldn't be too sure. The main band
was ready to go. Jenny stretched her neck from side to side.
"When do we go up next?" she asked.
"Ten minutes," Maureen said. Jenny pouted.
"Why can't we go out there now?" she asked.
"The opening act is still playing," the bassist said. The vocalist
rolled her eyes and forced herself to smile.
"Fine," she said. "Fine by me." Maureen tilted her head with a
confused look on her face. Jenny sat down in her corner and started
to sing to herself.
By the time the opening band finished their third song, the Indigo
Kids came on stage. By then, Ryan had finished his ritual and was
ready to go. He grabbed the mike.
"Good afternoon, party people!" he shouted. The crowd cheered
aloud. Jenny could already feel the buzz around her.
"Are you ready?" her husband asked.
"Yeah!" the crowd cheered. The drummer hit his drumsticks
together.
"One! Two! Three! Four!" he shouted. The band started playing.
Jenny danced around the stage as the music kicked into high gear.
The crowd went wild with their first song, "Little Elizabeth". Even
the cameraman got into the music. Ryan himself started jumping
around and singing. Time for another chaotic show for the fans to
love. This was their tour after all.
