Angel's Shadow

Prologue

 

Long ago, there were six angels who were always at war. They each represented an element—fire, water, earth, air, dark, and light. Each represented an emotion and brought it with them—hatred, calm, happiness, relief, anger, and love.

 

These angels, when they went to war, were in groups. The groups included three members—dark, fire, and earth…Air, water, and light. These angels coupled with humans without the knowledge of the elders.

 

After a long time, the elders became fed up with the angels' fighting and sealed their powers away into beings of their own blood…Their children. That was when they found out, and when they took the half-angels from the humans to care for the beings that would forever be cursed to live as their parents…
