In 1943 the war was turning against Hitler's so called “thousand year Reich”. With the inevitable loss at Stalingrad Heinrich Himmler realized the war would turn on the Eastern front. In July Himmler called upon Nazi Germany's remaining physics and top medical doctors to invent a super weapon. Code named, “the second Blitzkrieg” in order to fool allied radio code breakers. September 1943, a remote location was chosen on the occupied Polish/Soviet border. The location was an old soviet underground bunker. The project was so secrete Hitler was briefed on the project one month before the end of the war. Even though the project had been abandoned in late 1944. In mid 1944 the Russians were closing in on the bunker. A month before all contact with the outpost was lost. Fearing the worst a highly trained SS unit was sent to infiltrate the compound. Two days after the units departure a frantic radio message was received at the SS headquarters in Berlin. “Resistance encountered from an unidentified force need assistance please respond.”

2 minutes later a second message this time from a different voice. “Captain Schneider is dead we have been overrun pulling out over.”

The speaker's voice was recognized as Corporal Hans Muller. The lowest ranking member of the unit. Through the rest of the night radio operators tried to contact the men. But nothing was heard. As the Nazi empire crumbled Himmler ordered a halt to the investigation and the scraping of the project. In the final weeks of the war a Russian patrol went missing in woods bordering the bunker. The Russian's dismissed it as war casualty's even though a Nazi soldier hadn't been seen in the area since early 1944.

 

For years after the war passer's and explorers heard gunfire and the sounds of human voices and screams. Beginning at sundown and ending around midnight. Many believed it to be the spirits of war dead fighting beyond the grave. In 2010 civil war erupts in Russia. The regular government backed by U.S. and Coalition troops occupied the outlying area. Soon after the sounds started again and patrols began to disappear. Soon after the area was abandoned due to “Strategic difficulties”.

 

Now a multimillion dollar German company has hired one of its most prestigious engineers to lead an expedition to the area, accompanying him is a squad of thirteen battle hardened mercenaries. But as the men penetrate the doors of the bunker they are attacked by a force so evil it is enough to turn these ruthless soldiers into quivering victims. The results of the sick experiments gone disastrously wrong. The remains of men who should have been dead over sixty years ago still exist in the vicinity, and they're dieing for a fight.
