Disclaimer: I own these characters and this story! Now, on to the story...Beyond HumanPrologue: Before it Begins(Two men step out into an arena each holding their weapon of choice. The male on the left had long dark hair, wore a traditional red kamishimo, and wielded a crimson katana sword. The male on the right had light shorter hair held in a ponytail, wearing casual modern clothing, and holding a black staff in his hand. The two started running towards one another, doing what they could to hurt the other. The raven haired bishounen cut the other's left shirt sleeve, and a moment later, his arm. The casually dressed man's eyes grew an angry look. He quickly struck back against his opponent. He lifted up his staff and tried to strike and yelled somthing inaudible. The much longer haired male grew mad and charged right for him, the other lifted his weapon and caught the blade. The bishounen used the force of the attack to flip into the air and landed, like a cat, behind him. He shouted something that, yet again, could not be heard. The man with the shorter hair turned around, only to see his opponent push his sword into his stomach. As he fell, blood trickled out of his mouth.. The image faded.)(A young girl awoke in her bed, looking at the ceiling and wall above her head. She sat up and looked at her clock, which read 5:30 A.M.)Girl:...Lovely...Later than normal....(Her pale skin looked even paler in the sunlight. Her ankle length black hair shimmered as she walked. She went into her bathroom and turned on her shower. She sat down on the stool in it and began to wash herself. Drops of water fell from her face onto her small but perfectly shaped breasts as she continued to wash her body. With much effort she washed her very long hair. After the few minutes that it took to finish her hair, she stepped out of the shower. Grabbing a towel out of the closet, she went back to her room to get dresses. A pair of black silk panties and a fuku is what she put on. The fuku was a black long sleeved shirt with a white tie and sailor collar and a knee-length black skirt. She put a piece of bread in her mouth and grabbed her plain black messenger bag. She locked the door as she left, not that there was anything anyone would want to steal. She walked only a few meters before going up to a house. She rang the door bell. The door opened.)Girl: Good morning, Mr. GrenMr. Will: (in a still tired tone) Good...(yawn)Morning...Lilith. Kaoru's upstairs.(Mr. Gren let Lilith in the door. She took off her shoes and put her bag beside them by the door. Lilith stepped carefully up the stairs and hallway, wanting to scare Kaoru. She opened his door slowly.)Lilith: Kaor.......(She closed the door quietly and ran out of the house but remembering to get her shoes and bag. Mr. Gren, who was on the couch, turned his head to the stairs and then to the door.)Mr. Gren: I wonder what happened?(She stops running as she gets to her living room. She falls on her knees to the floor, her very long black hair messed up from the run. She gets her brush and four black hair ties from her room and starts brushing her hair.)Lilith: (thinking) Was he...I mean, he is a guy, so he could...(Lilith broke out in a complete blush.)Lilith: That's it! I'm going back!(Lilith got up as she finished braiding her hair and putting them up as odangos. She walked back to Kaoru's house and knocked on the door. Mr. Will opened the door.)Mr. Gren: He's still upstairs.Lilith: Thanks.(Lilith put her shoes and bag by the door again. She walked back to Kaoru's room, but this time walking as loud as possible. Just as she was about to open his door, Kaoru opened it.)Kaoru: Oh, hi Lilith.(Lilith looked at him with an angry look for a few moments and then kicked him in the groin area without warning. He fell to the floor in pain holding his crotch.)Kaoru: LILITH, WHAT THE HELL?!(Lilith turned away and started to walk down the hallway. She turned her head to him.)Lilith: Kaoru, come. We'll be late.(Kaoru ignoring his pain got up and followed her down stairs and they put their shoes and bags on and leaved.)Mr. Gren: (sitting on the couch) He's so whipped.(Lilith and Kaoru went into their school's cafeteria for breakfast. They sat down at a table in the back and started to eat their biscuits.)Kaoru: My dad told me about this old friend of his...he grows kappa.Lilith: How do you grow a kappa?Kaoru: I don't know...my dad says that no logic exists for this guy. Anyway, do you want to go today after school?Lilith: Sure, I have nothing better to do.(The bell rang and the two headed in two different directions. They both went to their classrooms. Lilith took her seat, looking very bored. Kaoru sat down and stared at the clock in each classrooms throughout the day.)To Be Continued...
