Chapter Two: Sick
Kim poured herself more beer. “Well,” she began. “Haven't seen you in forever.” “Yeah,” Chachi agreed. Then he walked over to her, sat down, and joined her. Kim poured him some beer and he drank. They sat in silence. Chachi smiled as he eyed his panther. Sure it had been two years, but she still looked the same. Long fiery red hair and curvy body. Sure Sol had left her body two years ago, but pieces of her remained in Kim's body. Chachi knew because the sun's glow was still there.
“So,” the thug spoke up. “What's the plan now?” Kim smiled as she took another drink. “Don't know,” she answered. “Just wander, I suppose.” Silence passed over them like heavy perfume. Chachi seemed disappointed. “That's it?” he asked. Kim nodded harmlessly. “I need to find something.” she answered. This caught the man's interest. “What?” he asked. Kim just smiled at him. She clearly wasn't going to tell him.

Chachi still had some questions for Kim. He couldn't really put them into words yet. Would she even care to answer them? “Well, go on,” his partner ordered. “Ask me!” Chachi stared at her blankly. “Ask you what?” he asked. Kim smiled at him. “Anything you like to know,” she replied. A pause came between them again. Whoa! Where could he begin? Well, here goes!
“How did you come to inherit Sol?” he asked. Kim smiled at him sweetly at him. “She was put into me!” she replied. Chachi eyed her. “Really?” he asked. Kim nodded. “Sol was Carp Face's daughter,” she replied. “She died in a plane wreck. Carp Face was devastated. So, he took the girl's soul ans searched for a body to put it in. I happened to look just like Sol and…” “And he put her in your body?” Chachi finished. Kim nodded again. “Her blood and my blood mixed together.” she added. “I see.” Chachi said. Everything was answered, for now…

“So just wander again, eh?” Chachi asked. Kim nodded again. “I see,” the thug said. Suddenly, wandering didn't seem like a bad idea anymore. Maybe he would learn more about Sol. Or maybe get closer to Kim. Who could say? They would have one Hell of a trip-- again.
“Ready to go?” Kim asked at last. Chachi stared at her blankly. “What?” he asked. “Ready to go?” she asked again. Chachi froze for a moment. “Right now?” the thug asked. “Yeah!” her partner replied. The thug froze in shock. Kim smiled at him. “If you're going to roam with me,” she advised. “You have to keep up with me!” She smiled and patted him on the shoulder. Then, Kim walked away. Chachi sat there for a moment in shock. Then he called out, “Hey wait!” The thug raced after his partner in a rush. The journey had started again!
