2 Weeks And 2 Days Later On March 17th2007
(St. Patrick's Day)

I am a loner. After I apologized to Amy and Chris, they still wouldn't talk to me, or even make any eye contact. So I lost hope in ever being their friend. I started paying more attention to school.

And soon, I was doing just as well as I was doing before. But today was different. Every St. Patrick's Day. Me, Amy, and Chris would have a “Green Party” and we would wear all green and eat cucumbers. We would mostly end up making fools out of our selves.

I sat in a corner, by myself at lunch. Thinking about the past. When I felt the presence of someone beside me. I turned around, it was Amy. “Hi.” She said. Quietly. Before I could respond, she continued.

“I was just remembering all of the good times we had when we were friends…but then…you changed, you ditched us for people who made fun of you every single day, instead of staying with the friends you had that helped you up when they pushed you down…why?” I looked down, “Because, I felt bad for myself, and then, when I had changed myself, people who were popular began talking to me, wanting to go out with me.

Then, I thought that I shouldn't hang out with people who weren't popular…I didn't want to go back to how I was before. But now…I want to.” Amy's eyes narrowed. “You tried to hurt me more than once when you were popular, and now that you've lost everything, you want to go crawling back to us?”

“Yeah.” I admitted. What she said was true. I waited for her to yell at me or leave, or say something insulting, but nothing happened. Instead, she said, “Well, you're lucky you have friends like me.” She said, “Now, come out of that corner, let's go to our table.” “Amy?” I called, as she turned around. “Thank you.”
