Chapter 1: Heaven's Guillotine

He sat silently at the front counter of a bar in a nearby town. His face was hidden behind his hood as he watched the people at the Tavern mingle from the corner of his eye. He gently sipped away at his drink. Through his flowing brown hair he noticed a rather large man making gestures at his comrades and looking at him.
"Heh" the broad man set down his large wooden mug of booze and clanked his fists against his armor. He turned towards the other large men that were with him then he turned back at the hooded man and took two large steps, "So, what brings you to these parts pipsqueak?" his voice was large and deep, he roughly put his hands on the solid yet much smaller mans shoulder. The hooded man simply sipped at his drink, this annoyed that large man even more, "So...tuff guy, you gotta name?"
The hooded man turned his head slightly, "Xzav..." he then went back to his drink.
The large man extended his gigantic hand, "Samson! Put er' there!" Xzav did not react, he simply sat sipping his drink. The large man's companions laughed and chuckled his way, "So...ignore me huh?!" Samson balled up his large fist, "Well...IGNORE THIS!!" he raised his fist and slammed it in a downward motion at Xzav. Acting quickly Xzav pushed off of the counter dodging the attempt. Wood pieces and splinters spread across the room. People started scurrying out of the area watching the event. Xzav focused his sinister eyes on the large beast through his light brown bangs, Samson made another horrific swing horizontally toward Xzav's upper body. Xzav ducked under and caught Samson arm twisting his arm around to Samson elbow pushing up with extreme force jutting it up in an abnormal direction. Samson let out a wild scream of pain, Xzav silenced him by exerting extreme force with his shoulder flinging the large giant into a group of chairs causing even more destruction to the bar. The people simply watched in awe.

Xzav stared down at his defeated opponent as a shotgun click was heard behind him, "Now, you got to the count of three to get the hell outta my bar, I'm not gonna let you ruin my place again, you punks from Joint-93 aren't gonna overrun my place,"
"Joint-93?"Xzave said to himself, he hadn't a clue what the bartender was talking about, "I should probably thank you for dealing with Samson, he's always causin' problems but for now...you get out,"
"You know..." Xzav slightly turned his head, "you talk too much," he then turned toward the exit, the people separating making a path for him. Xzav walked out into the wide empty street, street light lining the sidewalk. He glared into the night sky, wondering when this simple life of wandering will end. Getting into countless fights and not even having the amusement of a worthy opponent. He started walking when the four other large men came rushing out behind almost blowing the door off of its hinges.
"Hey wait!" a warrior called dressed in animal fur and bright metal armor, a few other men came carrying out Samson, the sat him up against a light pole and they surrounded Xzav, "Tonight this street flows with your blood," they started removing the large axes and hammers from their waists. Xzav released a small grin.
"The Gigan Tribe...maybe now I can get a challenge," Xzav wondered.
"A challenge?! Heh... don't take us for weaklings. Samson is the youngest of us all, plus you Joint-93 bastards have been causing enough problems for us, and it's only one of ya,"
"Oh yeah," Xzav was as still as a board, and as calm as a tiger, "what is Joint-93?"
The purple haired barbarian was surprised, "Ya mean..? Ya don't know? Isn't it your group?"
"No, I'm not familiar with it."
"Well, it doesn't matter. Nobody cares about a nobody, we will string up your body in our village as a trophy," they all prepared to strike. Xzav smirked and extended his hand behind his back creating a dark aura that spread out to a sinister black scythe with a silver blade. Opposite the blade hung a steel devils wing, "Let's get started..."
