Stay with me.. as close as I want to be
After that long rest, Nagi and I resumed school. It feels like it’s been decades since we last left. Anyways, I feel a lot better now that Nagi and I are officially couples, but I bet the school doesn’t know anything about it.
Or so I thought…
“Congratulations on your newly-formed relationship!” The first to greet us was Kitsu. I was really wondering how she found out, but considering the fact that she’s my best friend, I trust her.
Anyways, our return to this school was as boring as it used to be. Same old stuff, and same old boring life, but something added to it. Nagi’s sweetness added to the bitterness of school life, and so making it enjoyable. That’s what I like about him, he’s honest, kind and gentle.
Anyways, dismissal time. I opened my locker and found a letter: “Go to the gym after classes.” I told Nagi to go on ahead, and I went to the gym.
I searched the gym, but found no one there, until…
“You came.” A familiar voice called me.
“Who is there?”
“You already forgot? That really hurts.”
“Kai? What more do you want from me?”
“Nothing. I want nothing more from you. I just want to apologize formally.”
“Is that so? What is done is done. It’s already finished.”
“But, I know it’s been hard for you, and I apologize for that.”
“I accept. But, we have our own lives now. Let us have our peace. I know you want that.”
“Yes, that would be fine.”

“What happened? You were late. I was so worried.” I did expect Nagi to say those words. Indeed, I had taken so much time talking to Kai. “Sorry for being late. Let’s go in. I’ll cook dinner.”
“What happened to you back there?” He asked.
“Oh, nothing special.”

Since then I stayed at Sai’s house. She wanted it anyway, though I like to stay close to her. I never get tired of staying with her. I was always praying that this life of ours would never change, if it would, I want it to be better.
I will never ever leave you Sai… That’s a promise that I’m very sure that I’ll keep.
