Death Academy: The Beginning

Chapter Eight

 

“Oh Ryuu! You're the next to fall?” Ben sighed, placing his spear back on his shoulder.

 

“Who said anything about me falling?” Ryuu laughed.

 

“You'll regret crossing paths with me.” Ben said, running towards Ryuu.

 

Ryuu dodged a blow from Ben's spear and swung his sword, slicing Ben in his stomach.

 

“How do you like that?!” Ryuu said, swing blow after blow at Ben, who was blocking each attack with his spear.

 

“You are good, I'll admit.” Ben said, blocking each blow, then knocking Ryuu backwards, slicing him down his chest, “but I am better!”

 

“Err…..” Ryuu said, falling backwards, gripping his chest, “I'm not down for the count yet.” He continued, getting up and running towards Ben.

 

The locked weapons together and battled to push each others weapon out of the way in order to slice each other in two. They suddenly jumped backwards from each other dodging multiple kunai that sliced through the air where they were standing.

 

“What the hell was that?!” Ryuu yelled turning around along with Ben.

 

The both looked out and saw a huge person covered in heavy black armor, carrying a kunai shooting gun and a giant chain-linked sword on his back.

 

“One of your henchmen, Ben?” Ryuu said, staring at the huge armored person.

 

“No. I don't know who this person…is.” Ben said staring at the person.

 

“Well I don't care who you are, you are interfering!” Ryuu yelled running towards the person.

 

“Ryuu!! No! Don't!” Ryo'ichi screamed, sitting up, suddenly coming to life, scaring the shit out of Hitomi and Lee.

 

“Petty insect you'll regret the day crossing me.” The man said, shooting Ryuu with multiple kunai that impaled him in the chest and legs.

 

“Ah!” Ryuu said, freezing in place from the pain.

 

“Get out of my way.” The armored man continued, walking to Ryuu, slamming him in the face, causing him to fly across the room crashing next to the others.

 

“My reason is with Ryo'ichi and you, Ben.” He said, stopping about four feet from Ben.

 

“Who are you?!” Ben yelled at the man.

 

“I am known as the Sin Cleanser.” He said, pulling his giant chained sword and slamming it on the ground in front of Ben, “I am here to cleanse Ryo'ichi's and your sin.”

 

“Bullshit!” Ryo'ichi yelled staggering up gripping his right arm.

 

“Hmm……..Ryo'ichi what is it you failed experiment.” Sin said, looking at Ryo'ichi.

 

“Ben you wanted to kill the person who murdered your brother right?!” Ryo'ichi yelled.

 

“Yes and I will kill you Ryo'ichi.” Ben said turning to Ryo'ichi.

 

“Why? The one who murdered your brother is standing right in front of you.” Ryo'ichi said pointing to the Sin Cleanser, “That so called “Sin Cleanser” is actually you father.”

 

“WHAT?! YOU'RE A LIAR! YOU'RE JUST TRYING TO COVER YOUR ON ASS UP! I WILL KI-“Ben screamed but was interrupted by Sin.

 

“He's right. I am your father and I did kill your brother, my son. I tried to place the blame on Ryo'ichi by having my head operative planting a folder about Ryo'ichi.” Sin said, with no remorse in his voice what so ever.

 

“Wha-What?!” Ben said in total shock dropping his spear to the ground, “You killed your own son?!”

 

“Sons.”

 

“What?”

 

“You're next; once I get you out of the way I will stop ruling in the shadows and fully take over the P.A.S.M Facility!”

 

“Stop ruling in the shadows?”

 

“Yes, you always thought after your brother died that you were really running the facility? You weren't. I was. See, Ken was to smart for me to rule him in the shadows, plus he knew that I was really alive, however if Ken suddenly died then you would run, and with a little help from the inside, you would become a puppet in my ruling, however one problem was that, that wretched experiment, Ryo'ichi escaped caring along the truth, but none of this matters anymore. Ryo'ichi and you and everyone else here, will die.” Sin said, laughing.

 

“Help from the inside?” Ryo'ichi said getting on his feet and wrapping his arm back up.

 

“You said placing a folder?!” Ben said in horror, remembering the folder that his wife found, that mysteriously appeared in the filing cabinet that he searched over and over again, “You don't mean….”

 

“Yes! He does!” A voice yelled.

 

Out of nowhere appeared a serious wounded Prof. Sparks, kneeling down from exhaustion and loss of blood.

 

“Haley?!” Ben yelled, shaking from shock.

 

“Yes dear. It was me. I've known the truth all alone.” Prof. Sparks said, smiling.

 

“Why?!”

 

“Power and money, all about power and money. I never loved you, I used you to get higher up on the ranks, from the very day I met your father we planned this.”

 

“Ben…” Ryo'ichi said, walking to Ben, “I am sorry.”

 

“You both betrayed me; know this I will be the one to destroy both of you!” Ben screamed in tears, picking up his spear and running towards Sin and Haley, “Ryo'ichi get your friends and get out of here, I am going to end this once and for all.” Ben continued, as he appeared in front of both Sin and Haley, kicking them into the wall, knocking them through it.

 

“Ben! You couldn't think of-“

 

“It's the only way!” Ben yelled running through the broken wall, then turning around looking at Ryo'ichi, “I am sorry for everything.” He said, then running into the broken wall, disappearing.

 

Ryo'ichi turned around with horror on his face, “Run. NOW! WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!”

 

Ryo'ichi, Hitomi, Ryuu, and Lee ran out of the ruins in total confusion. Then ran passed the room nearest to the exit when someone yelled, “Wait!”

 

Lee stopped to see Fee trapped in a cage and Zinnia lying on the ground. Lee ran over to Fee and bent the bars open helping Fee out, then he ran over to Zinnia and picking her up, as they ran out of the room.

 

“What does he plan to do?!” Hitomi yelled as they made their way out of the ruins.

 

“He plans to overload the P.A.S.M Facility's Core, causing a massive explosion!” Ryo'ichi yelled seeing the exit out of the Ruin Sector.

 

Ryo'ichi, Hitomi, Fee, Lee, Zinnia, and Ryuu ran out of the Weaponry and Tactical Fighting Building just in time as they heard a huge explosion. The ground shook causing them to fall to the ground. They turned around just in time to see the building crumple to the ground.

 

Ryo'ichi stood up holding Hitomi in his arms as she said, “Is this nightmare finally over?”

 

“I hope so.” Ryo'ichi responded, kiss her on the head, “I hope so.”

 

“What a freaking night!” Ryuu said, snuggling with Fee, “How about we go back to the dorms and finally get much needed rest, Fee?”

 

“Yeah that sounds nice.” Fee smiled grabbing Ryuu's hand and walking off, “See you guys in the morning.” She continued waving her hand, along with Ryuu.

 

“I am off too; I need to carry Zinnia to the infirmary, along with myself.” Lee sighed, picking up the now conscious Zinnia, “Later guys.”

 

“Ryo'ichi…” Zinnia whispered, “Has it been done?”

 

“Yeah Zinnia, it has.”

 

“So Hitomi, we better get out of here, I see police lights in the distance.” Ryo'ichi said, grabbing Hitomi's hand and walking off.

 

“Got it, but we are going to play doctor in my dorm, remember?!” Hitomi said, smiling at Ryo'ichi.

 

“Sounds like a plan to me.” Ryo'ichi said looking up at the moon lit sky.

 

“Thanks, Ben.” He sighed, walking off into the moon lit walkway that led back to the girl's dorm.

Location: Rubble of the Ruin Sector.

 

Dust was flying everywhere in the leftovers of the P.A.S.M Facility, when suddenly an intact wall fell over as a women limped out, she looked around when a huge black armored arm broke out of the rubble. When she saw the hand, she just stared at it and smiled.

 

“We are not done yet.” She thought, grabbing the armored hand.

 

END OF BOOK ONE, DEATH ACADEMY: THE BEGINNING

 

Epilogue

Death Academy: The Resurrection

 

8 months later after the incident at the Prodigy Academy, Location: Panama City Beach, Florida.

 

“This vacation is awesome!” Hitomi yelled in Ryo'ichi's ear, which was carrying her on his back.

 

“I know!” Ryuu said who was holding hands with Fee.

 

“Yeah if only Lee and Zinnia could have been here.” Fee said, walking down the pier with the rest of them.

 

“I know, but they had to accept the jobs in the government that they received.” Ryo'ichi sighed, sitting down on a bench in the corner of the pier, looking out at the ocean.

 

“At least we got to come!” Hitomi said, kissing Ryo'ichi, “I love you.”

 

“I love you to-“

 

“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

 

Ryo'ichi shot up along with Hitomi, Fee, and Ryuu.

 

“What was that?!” Ryuu yelled, as Ryo'ichi ran over peaking over the pier, looking at the beach and ocean below.

 

“Wha-What?!” Ryo'ichi yelled in shock at what he was seeing.

 

There near the shore of the beach was a pool of blood and this giant looking creature swimming in the water. Hitomi and the rest ran over to see the horror.

 

“Is that a Slade?!” Fee yelled, “They can swim?”

 

“That isn't a Slade, well, not a normal Slade!” Ryo'ichi yelled in shock.

 

In the water was a huge looking shark beast, it had the face of a Slade and the same arms, the only difference was in was webbed on the arms and legs.

 

“C'mon! We have to kill it-“Ryo'ichi said, starting to run but was stopped by a huge explosion that blew the “AquaSlade” up; he glanced his view onto the beach to see a girl standing on it carrying a huge rocket launcher.

 

The girl looked tall, about Ryo'ichi's height and skinny too and medium length bronze hair. She was wearing nothing but a bathing suit, but that was all Ryo'ichi could make out, but he knew who she was.

 

“We have to get down there.” Ryo'ichi said sternly already running down the pier.

 

“Who is that?!” Ryuu yelled, running along behind him along with the others.

 

“My sister.” Ryo'ichi said with a confused tone.
