It was not an ordinary match. He dared to bet his head, there were only imperials and royals who may present. He believed Yang Hu Jin was not interest to have a not worth son in law.

His attention, then, switched to the elegant figure sat next to Yang Hu Jin and Lu Shen on a platform. Yang Xiu Juan. The princess was exceptionally beautiful. The shape of her face was perfect. Both her sapphire eyes shone bravely under the beautiful curve of her thick brow. Her full lips were painted in red, contrast with her smooth yellow skin. Her black long hair was dressed in Zhou imperial style. Compiled with royal outfits and attributes, she looked even more alluring.

Shuhao gave out an admiration sound from his mouth, stunned with the princess's beauty. He cursed his uncle for letting him behind but he was not Shuhao if he obeyed his uncle's command to keep an eye of their stronghold. He grinned, satisfied with his decision to come by.

His grin loosened when he sensed other's existence on the roof where he stood. Cautiously, he eyed the newcomer. A figure stood not far from him; a short young man dressed in green and equip with long rod. His also green eyes stared back at him.

“Dare to challenge me, eh?”

The next second, he threw his still fabric covered sword into the arena. The sword fled in extreme speed and landed on the ground after caused an enormous explosion. The on the go match was stopped and all of the eyes present placed their attention to the incident.

Xiu Juan sighed, bored with the match held. The sun above her was setting but there was still no sign that the match will ended soon. There were over than ten contestants showed up but no one of them could defeat his father's best soldiers. She was nearly gone from her seat when she heard a high volume explosion sound.

Gave back her attention to the arena afar, she had her eyes opened widely in shock. She saw a piece of sword likes stood on the now empty fortress' ground. All of people stood on the arena before was pushed back. Confused, Xiu Juan followed the others' eyes direction at main gate and found a young man with silver hair who was now speeding into the arena.

Two of Yang Hu Jin's best personnel jumped into the air, greeted the uninvited guest with their swords for only having a lost. The mysterious man defeated them easily and then landed on the square in grace.

Xiu Juan stood up. Both her hands already held her own twin short blades. Her sapphire eyes pierced at the figure. The man stood in front of her was surprisingly very young, only a year or so older than herself. His figure was tall and lean with pale skin covered in white. His handsome face was without expression, very calm.

Yang Hu Jin also stood up. Breaking the silence, he spoke, “You are..”

The young man gave a cynical smile to the lord, “You are waiting for me to appear, aren't you? Or suppose I say that you are waiting for this?” He reached out his sword and opened the fabric cover, showing a sword in white covering. A name of woman carved on its surface; Zhu Ni.

Lu Shen jumped from where he sat. His eyes wide with shock. “...!!! That is..."

“Silver Sword,” Yang Hu Jin said. His eyes shined with obsession to the sword as his lips curved an evil grin. His words surprised the other people in that place, including Shuhao. The boy's blood raged inside him when he saw the sword he would only hear from stories before this time. He did not believe that he would see the legendary sword with his own eyes.

“Better prepare yourself, Yang Hu Jin. The time for you to pay the debt has come,” as the intruder said that, he took a move to assault.

“Father, please allow me to handle this,” Xiu Juan demanded. Before her father could answer, she already sped forward to the arena, attacking the intruder with her short blades. The opponent welcomed her strike, blocked her blade with his still covered Silver Sword, pushed her back a few steps. Far from give up, she managed to resume her assault repeatedly. Both of them now were confronting each other. Blades and sword crossed between them.

“Who are you? How dare you break in to the fortress?”

A pair of cold red eyes, which were very close to hers, stared at her. The attractive look in front of her painted a cold smile. His lips parted and let out a low voice, “It doesn't matter, princess.”

He forced Xiu Juan back with his sword. Left the girl behind, he moved with high speed to approach Yang Hu Jin. His sword was ready to use. He not yet reached for the platform when Lu Shen came to stop him with a sword in his hand. The fight between the two was unavoidable.

Lu Shen had to give all of the skills he has to fight the young man. He thought in disbelieve for the young man, no need to question about it, was already possessed the legendary Yin Jing.

“Are you the White Devil?” Lu Shen asked between their fight. “It seems that you already possessed Yin Jing.”

“You are aware?”

“How could you have the sword?”

“It's none of your concern. I do not come to discuss about it.” As he ended his words, the White Devil gave Lu Shen a very fast strike, pushed the opponent back quite far. He used this opportunity to aim his sword at Yang Hu Jin once again.

On the top of fortress main building, Shuhao leaved his placed to help when he saw his uncle forced back. Stunned, he looked at small figure moved beside him. It was the short guy dressed in green he saw before. Together, they fought the White Devil.

Xiu Juan and Lu Shen were just about to move forward when their strong opponent swung his sword and forced the four of them back a big gauge from the arena with his sword ambiance. When the four were able to handle the situation, their opponent was already gone, leaving an empty arena behind.

Act 5

Yang Hu Jin remained silence in his own thought. His eyes stared blank in to the air. He could not believe what he had done. Just a moment a go, he allowed himself to loose the opportunity to grab the Silver Sword into his hand. Fool! He already waited for this moment to come for over than twenty years.

Xiu Juan approached her father. She asked for his condition with concern, “Are you all right, father?”

He answered, “Yes, Xiu Juan. I am fine.”

Shuhao was about to do the same to his uncle when lot of Yang Hu Jin's soldiers surrounded him and the short guy dressed in green. “Hey! What is this?!” Shuhao protested.

On of the soldiers said, “Anyone who dare break in to Yang Fortress is going to be punished.”

“What?! Are you kidding me? I tried to save your master!” Shuhao switched his attention to the lord, “Hey, mister! We met about ten days a go. Have you forgotten? It's no way you do not recognize me!”

“Watch for your words...” Xiu Juan demanded but Shuhao replied with lack of respect, “Damn with...”

“Silence!” Lu Shen shouted at his ward. He bowed lightly to Yang Hu Jin. “Lord Yang, my ward has no intention of harming you. I ask for your forgiveness.”

Yang Hu Jin sighed. He knew Shuhao was not a harm for him but the boy was a mess. “Your ward, really, he is nothing but trouble, Lu Shen.” He stared at the other young man next to Shuhao. He pointed at him. “And who is this child? Is he also your ward?”

The young man pointed gave a slight bow to Yang Hu Jin. He answered him clearly, “My name is Li Qiao. I brought a message from my master, Zhang Yi Feng of the west.” He gave out a scroll of paper to the lord.

“Zhang Yi Feng the foreteller from the west land? Are you her disciple?”

“Yes I am, My lord”

Shuhao looked at Li Qiao in amaze. Zhang Yi Feng. He was aware of the name; a fame foreteller who was known in kangouw also because of her Sying Quon skill and the short guy next to him was the ancestor of that famous skill. It seemed that his uncle had the same attention to him.

At last, Yang Hu Jin sighed for his lost. He ordered his men, “Let them free. They are my guest.” Li Qiao smiled brightly to the lord. “Thank you, My lord.” As he said that, Lu Shen pierced at his ward, demanded him to do the same thing.
