Chapter 2: Julia's in Love?

 

Julia awoke the next day full of energy. She finished all her morning arrangements and began to prance out of the forest. She leaped out of the forest and was immediately tackled down by Yomi.

“Morning, Julia,” said Yomi cheerfully. Julia giggled and looked at Yomi.

“Morning,” greeted Julia. Yomi was really surprised. She got off of Julia and examined Julia closely.

“Who are you and what have you done with Julia?” asked Yomi suspiciously knowing full well that Julia hates being tackled. Julia laughed and poked Yomi's head.

“Don't be silly, Yomi. Now let's head to school,” said Julia cheerfully. Yomi was growing really confused.

Is Julia OK, thought Yomi worriedly.

When they were at school, Julia was still full with energy. She sat in her desk with a huge smile on. Yomi sat next to Julia and asked, “Are you really OK?” Julia nodded. She suddenly saw Shuya enter the room and smiled at him.

“Morning Shuya,” said Julia cheerfully. Shuya was shocked. He stared at Julia for a while and said, “Where's Julia?” Julia giggled and patted Shuya's head shocking Yomi and him.

“You're funny Shuya,” said Julia happily as she patted his head. Shuya was starting to get scared. He pulled away from Julia and pointed at her yelling, “The power of Christ compels you, demon!” Julia laughed and looked out the window. Yomi looked at Julia worriedly.

What's wrong with Julia, thought Yomi worriedly.

The bell rang marking the beginning of class. Mr. Awayuki walked in and looked at his class. “Did everyone do their homework?” asked Mr. Awayuki. Everyone nodded and held their homework up. Mr. Awayuki collected the homework and finally reached Julia's desk. He noticed that Julia was extremely cheerful today and asked, “Did something good happen?” Julia looked up at Mr. Awayuki and nodded.

“Nothing can make me upset today,” said Julia happily. She handed her homework to Mr. Awayuki and continued to smile making Mr. Awayuki blush a bit. He walked to his desk and put away all the homework. He grabbed a piece of chalk and began to write on the board.

“Copy these problems down and then we will start the quiz,” instructed Mr. Awayuki. The students nodded and began to copy down the problems.

Mr. Awayuki watched Julia copy down the problems and noticed that she was still smiling. She's always disappointed when it comes to quizzes, but she seems really happy this time. I guess something really good did happen this time, thought Mr. Awayuki.

When it was lunchtime, Yomi and Julia ate on the roof again. Yomi chewed on her sandwich and looked at Julia, who was eating her pork bun happily. Yomi sighed and said, “Alright Julia, spill it. Why are you so darn happy today?” Julia swallowed her pork bun piece and smiled.

“Because...”

Julia was about to answer, but Sasame burst through the door of the roof again out of breath. Julia smiled and looked at Sasame. “Hi Sasame,” said Julia cheerfully. Sasame looked at Yomi and Julia and smiled.

“Hi,” said Sasame. He had lost his lunch again, while running from the fan girls, so he was eating lunch with Yomi and Julia again. Yomi cleared her throat and looked at Julia again.

“As you were saying before Sasame came in,” said Yomi as she looked at Julia. Julia smiled and said, “I'm happy today because last night, I finally saw my blue haired knight.” Yomi was really surprised, while Sasame was confused.

“Blue Haired knight?” said Sasame and Yomi at the same time. Julia nodded.

“He came last night,” said Julia dreamily. Yomi laughed uneasily and asked, “Are you sure that it was your blue haired knight?” Julia nodded.

“He had long blue hair just like three years ago,” said Julia happily. Sasame was really confused.

“Who's this blue haired knight?” asked Sasame confused. Yomi sighed and looked at Sasame.

“The one that saved her from the plane crash and stole her heart,” said Yomi. Sasame was really surprised. He looked at Julia and saw her blushing a bit.

She likes someone else, thought Sasame disappointedly. He shook his head and continued to chew on his sandwich. Yomi noticed Julia's blush and said, “There's more isn't there?” Julia nodded.

Julia's blush grew even brighter and said, “My blue haired knight also kissed me.” Sasame and Yomi were shocked.

“He did what!” they screamed. Julia backed away nervously.

“Kissed me,” said Julia nervously. Sasame and Yomi were now burning with jealousy. Julia cringed and backed away from them.

I don't think they like the news, thought Julia nervously. She suddenly remembered the blue haired boy kissing her and blushed.

Now that I think about it, I wasn't really sure if that was my blue haired knight or not, thought Julia. She sighed and continued to eat her lunch. Sasame and Yomi had finally calm down and were eating their lunch silently.

Stupid Blue Haired Knight, they thought.

Julia, Sasame, and Yomi suddenly heard the fan girls scream making them drop what they had in their hands. Sasame began to panic.

“Did they figure out where I was hiding?” said Sasame in a panic. Julia listened to the girls' screams and gasped in realization.

“That scream is pure horror,” said Julia in a panic. Sasame and Yomi were shocked. They ran down the stairs off the roof and burst through the door to the school hallway. They saw all the students including the fan girls and teachers running away from a huge one-eyed ogre. Julia, Sasame, and Yomi were shocked.

“What is that thing?” screamed Sasame.

“An ogre, but those only exist in myths and fairy tales,” said Yomi in a panic. Julia stared at the ogre in shock. She began to remember the creature her knight rode off on three years ago.

Another mystical creature has appeared just like three years ago, thought Julia amazed. The ogre began to run at Sasame, Yomi, and Julia making them panic. They ran as fast as they could along with the other students.

Yomi tripped and fell to the ground hard. Julia gasped and ran back for Yomi. Sasame saw Julia running back and chased after her.

“Julia!” called Sasame as he ran after her.

Julia reached her friend and helped her up as fast as she could. The ogre was getting closer each second. Julia pushed Yomi to Sasame, who had finally caught up, and yelled, “Run!” Yomi and Sasame took off as fast as they could. Julia was going to run too, but the ogre had caught up to her.

The ogre grabbed Julia's leg and whipped her into the air. Julia screamed, but no one could hear her. Julia dangled in the air upside down, while trying to keep her skirt down. She looked at the ogre with horror in her eyes.

Now my great day is really ruined, thought Julia as she looked into the eye of the ogre. She suddenly felt a breeze pass her and looked to the side only to see the blue haired boy from last night holding a staff with glowing symbols on it.

It's him, thought Julia surprised. The blue haired boy swung the staff in one hand and pointed at the one-eyed ogre.

“If you don't want to get hurt, then I suggest that you drop the girl now and come with me quietly,” warned the blue haired boy. The one-eyed ogre shook his head and said, “I will not return to that prison, but you can have the girl for all I care.” The ogre threw Julia at the blue haired boy causing Julia to scream. Julia collided into the blue haired boy causing both of them to fall to the ground. Julia groaned in pain and felt the blue haired boy move under her. She looked down at him and saw him glaring at her.

“Get off me!” screamed the blue haired boy. Julia got off of him, allowing him to get up. The blue haired boy glared at Julia and said, “Don't get in my way, girl.” Julia was shocked.

Is this really my blue haired knight, thought Julia confused. The blue haired boy gripped his staff and ran at the ogre. The staff glowed brightly in the boy's hand as he fought the ogre head on. The ogre blocked the boy's attack, but did get some damage in the process.

“Curse you!” yelled the ogre. The blue haired boy grinned and continued to attack the ogre.

Julia watched the battle between the ogre and the blue haired boy in amazement. She knew that she had the chance to run, but couldn't seem to turn away from the battle before her. The ogre noticed her and began to run at her. Julia gasped and decided that now was the time to run.

The ogre was faster, so he was only inches away from her. Before the ogre could strike, the blue haired boy got in the way and blocked the ogre's attack from Julia. Julia stopped in her tracks and looked at the blue haired boy.

He's protecting me, thought Julia. The blue haired boy glared at Julia, while holding back the ogre and said, “Run, you stupid girl.” Julia was shocked.

Did he just call me stupid, thought Julia angrily. Julia shook her head and began to run again.

The ogre wasn't giving up so easily. The ogre punched the blue haired boy out of the way and began to run at Julia again. The blue haired boy screamed in pain causing Julia to stop in her tracks. She looked back and saw the blue haired boy on the ground in pain.

“My blue haired knight,” said Julia as she looked at the boy. She also saw the ogre running at her with its hand outstretched. Julia growled and yelled, “How dare you hurt him!”

Julia began to glow brightly surprising the ogre and the blue haired boy. The light soon faded revealing Julia with long purple hair flying in the air. The blue haired boy and the ogre were shocked.

Is this girl a Lehan, thought the blue haired boy shocked. Julia glared at the ogre causing the ogre to cringe in fear. Julia held her hand in front of her face and chanted a spell that came to her mind.

When the spell was complete, the ogre began to glow. The ogre screamed in pain and vanished into the light. Julia sighed and fell to her knees. The blue haired boy ran to Julia, after putting away his staff, and supported her. Julia looked at the boy weakly and asked, “What happened to me?” The blue haired boy sighed.

“I don't know,” said the blue haired boy. He touched Julia's once black hair and sighed again.

She just might be a Lehan, but I have to be sure, thought the blue haired boy. He picked up Julia and carried her in his arms causing Julia to blush.

“What are you doing?” asked Julia as she blushed. The blue haired boy sighed and looked at Julia.

“I'm taking you back to headquarters, whether you like it or not,” said the blue haired boy. Julia was really surprised. She shook away her blush and said, “This is considered as kidnapping you know.” The blue haired boy shrugged.

“Anything to complete my mission, even if it means taking a stupid girl with me,” said the blue haired boy. Julia was even more shocked. All the love she felt for the blue haired boy shattered. She glared at the blue haired boy and yelled, “Put me down now!”

The blue haired boy shook his head and was getting ready to jump out of the window. He suddenly heard some people screaming below him and looked down only to see all the inhabitants of the school.

“Just great,” said the blue haired boy annoyed. All the inhabitants of the school saw the blue haired boy with Julia.

“Who's that?”

“What is that guy doing with Julia?”

“Is this a kidnapping?”

The bickering of the people continued on as they looked up at the blue haired boy. Yomi and Sasame, who managed to get out and were looking for Julia, saw the blue haired boy too with Julia in his arms.

“Isn't that boy Julia's blue haired knight?” said Yomi confused. Sasame nodded. Julia saw her friends and yelled, “Help me! This guy is kidnapping me!” Yomi and Sasame gasped and were running toward Julia and the blue haired boy.

“Put my best friend down, you jerk!” yelled Yomi.

“Put Julia down!” yelled Sasame. The blue haired boy sighed and tossed Julia onto his shoulder as he dug in his pocket. Julia growled and yelled, “What are you doing, you jerk!” The blue haired boy sighed and looked at Julia.

“Be quiet, stupid girl,” said the blue haired boy. Julia was ready to pulverize him. The blue haired boy pulled out a card from his pocket and threw it at the crowd. The card changed into a blue butterfly and spread white powder all over the crowd. The crowd, including Sasame and Yomi, all fell asleep instantly. Julia saw this and glared at the blue haired boy.

“What did you do to them?” demanded Julia. The blue haired boy smirked and said, “I just put them to sleep and erased their memories of the ogre and me. They'll awake after an hour.” Julia was angry and confused.

Who is this guy, thought Julia angrily. The blue haired boy held Julia tightly and jumped out of the window causing Julia to scream. The blue haired boy landed on the ground peacefully and smiled.

“That went well,” said the blue haired boy. He looked at Julia and saw her gasping for air in fear. The blue haired boy laughed and said, “You look like a scared cat.” Julia shook her fear away and glared at the blue haired boy again.

“I don't look like a scared cat and put me down!” yelled Julia. The blue haired boy sighed and said, “Can't you ever be quiet?” Julia growled and began to throw insults at the blue haired boy. The blue haired boy had finally had enough. He held Julia with one hand causing her to yell at him more.

The blue haired boy bent down and captured her lips with his own. Julia was shocked. She tried to push him away, but just like last time, he refused to let go.

Why is he kissing me again, thought Julia in a panic. The blue haired boy released her when she stopped struggling and looked down at Julia's blushing face. The blue haired boy grinned and slammed a card on her forehead making Julia shocked. The card changed into a white powder and knocked Julia out.

The blue haired boy grinned and tossed Julia onto his shoulder again. He ran down the street with a huge grin on his face. “Stupid girl,” said the blue haired boy as he ran down the street.
