Chapter 2 ~ Tending to.
Meanwhile Raki was “Tending to the animals.”
Giggling Raki sat on a mule ridding around the clearing with other various animals trailing after her. Except the cat the lay on the roof thinking “Like hell I’m getting up.” Then continued to sun herself.

Tending to the child wounds he couldn’t help but notice that they looked rather strange, like someone had tortured the child. But for the mind of him he couldn’t figure out why someone would be so cruel as to do this to a child.
After cleaning the wounds he rapped with cotton linen. With that finished he helped put her under the sheets and covered her up to preserve her modesty. Picking up her dirty and torn clothing he went to the living room setting it next to the fireplace to burn later tonight. After that was finished he went to the bathroom to clean the shower and to take one himself.
While taking his shower he couldn’t help but wonder what the child was doing wounded in the woods when no one else but he and his sister lived within miles.

Floating in darkness she couldn’t help but worry. “Where am I? Am I safe? I have to keep moving.” Then an overwhelming sense of safety came over her. Sighing she succumbed to the darkness.

After his shower the young man went back to his room, which happened to also be where he set the child he found in the woods. Opening the dresser, he set to the task of dressing himself. With that finished he check on his patient, and then went to find his sister.

Outside behind the barn he found his sister surrounded by various animals, from their cows to various wild birds. Leaning against the barn wall the just stared admiring his sister. Raki was a rather unusual and unique looking girl, with her light brown skin that has lighter stripes in places similar to what was on a tiger. Her hair was a variety of colors, red, black, orange, and a deep pink. The eyes were perhaps the most unique and unusual, they both we’re slit like a cat’s or a snake’s but there is another slit harder to see cutting across the first slit, making a plus sign, to finish it off one eye was of the deepest red and the other was the lightest pink color commonly being mistaken to be white.
