Original Stories Fan Fiction ❯ Fourty Seven Times ❯ Morning ( Chapter 1 )
[ T - Teen: Not suitable for readers under 13 ]
Authors Note: A new story by me. Thisstoryis based on real events, but please rememberit is only `based on'them. Most of the very specific events are actual things that happened, usually hyped up to make it more interesting or relevant to the story. Those that are more general, aren't. I have combined the experiences of me and a few of my friends. I really don't know what to say, except that this is to help show terrible things do happen and if you can't stick with your friends when they need you, something even worse will happen… Or something along those lines…?
All characters are MINE, so please do not use them without permission, or repost my stuff elsewhere, `kay?

Morning
She was still in bed, crying, when her alarm clock rang. It was time to get up, but she still had not managed to fall asleep. Wiping away the stains down her cheeks before her mother came to be sure she was awake, she got out of bed and headed to the bathroom.
As she stepped out of yesterday's clothes, her thoughts once more returned to the events of the past week. She saw it again in her head; strange faces passed her by, ignoring the tears streaming from her eyes. Her old friends, laughing at her, talking behind her back, about those rumors flying wild about her and her `activities' after only the words of one. The one who, a little over a month before that-
Her stomach heaved, and the headache returned. I should NOT have thought about that. Every time she thought back, the same thing happened. She felt like she would throw up, emptying her stomach of all its contents. She was lucky; this time she hadn't eaten yet. As always, her head began to throb, getting worse as she fought to forget. Involuntarily her body would begin to curl into the fetal position, and she could do nothing to avoid it.
Stepping into the shower, she couldn't stop it; the slideshow in her head continued. Stop it! STOP it! She leaned forward, gasping and clutching at her hair. Her mind itself was pounding. I can't think- But I can't not think! Slowly the words faded, until all that was left was the scene replaying in her mind. She had gone through it so many times before. She still wondered how long it would be before it would seem like just a nightmare.
She could feel her eyes burning up and tearing, but the falling water allowed her to convince herself she was imagining it. She was done crying. There was nothing left to lose, she no longer drank water and had been awake all night. How did her dehydrated body manage to find the excess liquid?
The movie in her head finally came to that part where she was outside the door. It slowly opened and `his' eyes flashed before her. She tried to tell herself not to go in, to run, to go upstairs, and to stay away! But memories could not be changed. She entered, innocently closing the door behind her, to see what he had bought. But in her current reality, silently screaming, she stumbled backwards and slipped on a bar of soap, falling and banging her head on the bath's faucet. There was no denying it now; she was crying.
She stood up and finished her shower, fingers careful as she washed away the faint traces of blood in her hair.

Author's Note: First chapter up! I know it is very short, but all of the chapters will be. This is supposed to be a short story but I decided I wanted to post some up now, even if it is not finished. So `chapters' are just one fraction of the day. Erm. Yes. I will post this up now, and edit the next part. I hope to post a lot of it today and finish by next month. But that is NOT a promise, I am terrible like that! PLEASE review! I respond to all reviews!
