From the Beginning: A Prologue

 

It was easy to kill someone, and even easier to dispose of the evidence. All this Xander knew and more.

But it was another thing to re-animate a dead body enough to make it seem alive. Even with Xander's incredible skill, there was always a flaw in the bodies; some sort of deformity or speech impediment or something.

This time, it seemed that the most recent body was granted with three things: a will of its own, intelligence, and something odd: powers.

At age 10, he had never re-animated a body to have these “deformities,” as he called them. This was also the first one to actually fight against him.

Xander scowled as he wiped away the blood that was coming out of the corner of his mouth. Xander was able to hold his own against a normal human person, but with this body's unusual power, he was barely able to hold his own, which frustrated him to no end.

Peaking his head out from behind his hiding spot, he took a quick look around to try and find his opponent. His opponent was Hiruma Daemon. What was unusual about this person was the fact that, when revived, Hurima was blessed with what was before mentioned. Hiruma was unique when she was alive, and know was even more so after being killed and revived.
